*If you notice people giving 5stars were not patients. Let the people who actually were patients give reviews * The worst care I have ever received. I have never been to a place that cares so little about the patient. On the first page of their pamphlet it states that the patient along with their doctor will determine a treatment plan. This is not TRUE! My doctor did not care about my opinion. He couldn't even take the time to listen to my heart or ask me how I was feeling at the first appointment. When I voiced my opinion about what I wanted to be done to MY body he became a big bully. When I spoke with a social worker about not being included in my own health care they tried their best but nothing happened. When ever any other provider had an ideas about my health problems he immediately shut it down. Couldn't take the time to even check on me after my surgery. I am still having issues after the surgery. I wish that I could have been treated at a different Cancer Institute. An institution that when a patient makes an complaint about the doctor they stop and listen. When I requested a different doctor nothing happened. All my concerns and fears fell on deaf ears. This treatment was witnessed not only by my family but by other professionals who seemed defeated. How can one doctor have so much power that no one can disagree with him. My health was put in jeopardy because of a doctor's ego. Doctors are not God!

I received the absolute best care I could have ever hoped for. My entire team was compassionate and understanding. I traveled from NV for the highest quality care I could find for the extremely complex and major surgery I needed. I can't thank everyone at the Huntsman Cancer Institute enough, I have my life back!!

I have been going to Huntsman since July of 2020. I have had a great experience with my oncology team and other doctors. June 2022 I had an unpleasant experience that I have been trying to get taken care of ever since. I have called multiple times and absolutely no one ever gets back to me like Promised. This has been extremely upsetting and disappointing. I gave them 2 stars because the teams I have dealt with prior to my June experience have been great. If I could rate the lack of customer service, concern, attentiveness I would give it a zero. I have been more than patient and fair, I wouldn’t think that it would take well over 6 months for someone to address the matter at hand or for someone to get back to me. In my opinion there are some areas that need attention and improvement.

They care less about the condition you're in, over how much money is in you're bank account. Went through multiple cycles of chemotherapy, when even they themselves knew none of it would work. Drained my entire life savings into this place, and I've learned something about how they choose to operate. You will either die from cancer, or die from grief stricken poverty. But do they care? Not a chance Double coverage βœ… Total payments to the U through personal and insurance claims 75k+ βœ… Do they still want more money from you βœ… Have concerns about paying for the cost of treatment? Not a problem, they will just assuage all you're worries and fears until you find yourself scraping for change to be able to make rent and food for the month. Or tell you they have financial aid for low-income individuals, provided you list all of you're valuable possessions for them to take from you. You're not a patient as much as you are an open wound for them to leach as much from you as possible. If you need treatments for any and all cancer related options. Steer clear and look elsewhere because the huntsman is only seeing dollar signs.

Working with the genetics clinic has approached impossible. They never answer the phone. Literally never. It dumps to voicemail 7 days a week, all times of day. They don't return voicemails within 7 days. It's incredibly difficult to access any communication or get an appointment. Chasing a phantom to help with sensitive and time-sensitive genetic testing is pretty defeating.

The nurses with Huntsman at Home were really amazing. I'm grateful for the care and respect they gave my mom, and the support they were to my dad.

Spent the past year and half going to this location most days, 8 hours at a time with multiple appointments. I will miss spending so much time there once I am 100% better. Enjoyed the cafeteria food. I feel thankful that I was able to be a patient here. Most employees through out the hospital from different departments have been friendly.

My husband and I drive 500 miles to receive treatment for his rare lymphoma. The level of care, treatment, coordination and communication are absolutely top notch. We chose Huntsman over Stanford or MD Anderson and we absolutely made the right choice. Huntsman has helped us navigate the frightening process involved with treating cancer and Salt Lake City is an easy town to get around in and live for extended treatment stays. Thank you Huntsman for helping us beat cancer.

The owner was rude the first time I took my mother into the gift shop after she received her chemo. Then again today my mother asked her if she was open and she was rude again. Dying patients shop here. Someone with a heart needs to run this shop.

Very inconsiderate! I think our company made a bad choice of partnering with your company for our health program! I was 15min.early on my appointment at the huntsman cancer mobile and the front desk lady won't let me in and asked me to come back. I would understand if there were patients waiting but there's none.Gosh! It's 97 degree outside! Where is your patient care that always printed in your brochures? Or maybe your staffs are not trained well specifically that front desk receptionist! That lady named Zona/Sona is very inconsiderate and rude! She was just sitting conveniently in the AC room and doing nothing while I was waiting in the middle of the parking lot under the sun with 97 degree temperature? I wish you guys to be flexible and considerate sometimes!

I have been treated at Hunstman for nearly 6 years now, and would never even consider going anywhere else. These people are here 24/7 and are willing to do anything to help you. The doctors are wonderful and knowledgeable, and always listen to what you have to say. Highly recommend if you are seeking cancer treatment!

I had my TT over 1.5 years ago. This cancer institution has treated me with respect & kindness. Dr Richard Cannon did my TT from my agressive MPTC Cancer & did a wonderful job. It was a clean cut with no complications & it has healed beautifully. I have no problem & nothing ill to say about this hospital. 11/15/22 Update: coming in for RAI & although traffic to get here is crazy I still feel the same. 😊

I am so grateful to Huntsman. I loved my doctors, nurses, social workers, front office staff, phyical therapists, and even custodians. I always felt like my well-being was important to them. Thank you for you care of me!

I had the complete run around with a pretty serious situation. A large very large mass in my breast other hospitals were taken forever to get me in trying to schedule me out over a month I encountered Lindsey with the memography scheduling center and she was absolutely truly amazing I was able to see doctor Matthews and he was absolutely amazing & were compassionate and kind they were carrying and did not appear to be condescending I truly was blessed with my medical care team and you all would be lucky to experience this too

I had the opportunity to stay at the HCI bed and breakfast under the supervision of the head an neck surgical oncology team 2.5 wks ago. The care was top notch! The whole medical team worked to assuage my fear and concerns, quickly tackle my health needs, and more importantly treat me like a person and not a diagnosis. Truly an awesome team and a blessing to me and my family! I cannot say enough positive things about my care and Dr. Sara Drejet.
