I ordered the oxtail for delivery with doordash. I appreciate when the meat falls off the bones but not when all I get is bones...literally came with maybe two pieces of good oxtail. Flavors were okay. Very disappointed. Would not order again.

Food was very dry but tasted excellent. The skin on the chicken was nice and crisp. Jerk sauce was flavorful with a decent amount of heat to it. My takeout felt heavy. They give you a lot of food. I wish they had a boneless version of the chicken. Kinda felt like I got a third of the animal. The dryness of the chicken combined with the rice made it a little hard to eat. Also, other than some garnish, there are pretty much no veggies in this. Absolutely loved the beef patty. Definitely coming back for these. The coco bread is just Hawaiian bread. Not worth the price IMO. Atmosphere is chill and laid back. I can see this as a great place for a party. Whole place was deserted when I went though.

Ordered Jerked Chicken with rice and peas as the side. Also ordered festival bread. The center where tables probably used to go was empty but there were booths around the side. Fountain drinks wasn't working so only bottled beverages or water available. Only one person in front of house who took forever to get to me. This place ended up forgetting part of my order. They also admitted to forgetting I was there as I wasn't sitting in the easy to see from the register. Service was 1 star, but the food was very good. I'll give them another try in the future

Stopped in without planning to, we were just driving by and saw it. The staff was so friendly and even brought a sample of jerk chicken while we were waiting for our to-go order (it was amazing BTW). Food was fast but delicious and fresh. We will go back for sure. Recommend them if you like this style of food.

Came here with my husband for the first time today. He got the curry chicken with jasmine rice & I got the pepper steak with rice/beans. We also enjoyed a couple rum punches while we waited for our meals and those were delicious & potent lol. I must say not only is the environment very welcoming the food was amazing! We will definitely be going back for more. Thank you so much for great service & great quality food.

The best representation of Jamaican Caribbean food in Minnesota. I can confirm this, coming from Puerto Rico I know how the Caribbean food should taste. The rice with beans was delicious, with the taste of the coconut milk. The jerk chicken was amazing... With that particular spice of the Caribbean and the sweet plantain give this dish the perfect balance to make it a culinary gem. 💯 Recommended.

First time here and the food was great and the owners were very nice! I had goat curry, jerk wings, rice and peas, beef patty and fried plantains. Website or FB says open for take out only but we were able to dine in. Will be back!

Delicious authentic home-cooked style meal. I enjoyed the music and atmosphere with friendly staffing to top it off. They are passionate at what they serve here (food & service). I love the idea of them having a Jamaican buffet; very unique. I can tell They are going to be #1 hot spot in town pretty soon. Blaine has gained a gem for sure!

Great good. Ordered curry shrimp with rice & peas. Hands down the best rice & peas I've had outside of Jamaica. The shrimp were large and very fresh tasting, not overcooked. Ordered beef pattie as well. Nice light and flaky on the outside and flavorful beef mix, equally balanced on the inside. Friendly service.

This place in Blaine is AMAZING. Great atmosphere, very lovely music, and of course the food is AUTHENTIC Jamaican cuisine. I started with the beef patty (which was crispy, flakey, and flavorful). For my entree, I ordered the Goat Curry - savory, tender, falls right off the bone, and each bite melted in your mouth. Customer service was attentive, and responsive. My sister said it best: " This food's so good, I feel like I'm dancing with my ancestors!" Photo of my cleared plate uploaded 👍🏽

This place advertises as open at noon….. but they don’t start serving food until 1pm. If you are thinking of coming here for lunch- Don’t waste your time. The food is not made fresh, it’s nuked ( based on my conversation with the hostess) unlike so many local small restaurants. It’s located in a dive, you will definitely want to keep an eye on your car and valuables. Not recommend for families with children, elderly, 30 min lunch breaks….

I will drive straight cross the city for food from this place. However, when I do that just to read a note posted on the door, I then thought, "Why do social media exist?" Try thinking bout the people that allow you to move to a new location due to their support for your business. The location in BP is closed until their grand opening in BLAINE. Hope this saves someone time, gas, and bleeding disappointment. Love family🙏🏾

This place was amazing! The food was exceptional and the staff were so friendly and helpful! I got a Jamaican beef patty and the jerk chicken and my wife got chicken curry. Both were absolutely delicious, bold aromatic spices with the perfect level of heat. We were both amazed at how tender our chicken was - both dishes simply fell off the bone! The rice and beans and plantains on the side were delicious as well. I always love plantains, and these were no exception. I’ll definitely be back to check out their lunch buffet. I would recommend to anyone!

My husband and I both had the jerk chicken and it was the 💣. The service was slow, but they literally only had a cook and a server for staff and it was understandable. Our server apologized profusely but we didn't mind the wait. The food was worth it! We haven't had jerk chicken that tasty since we were in Belize 2 years ago. We'll definitely go back!

The food was good honestly. At the price point for the dinner that's why I would have some caution going back. Good thing I live in Chicago! I can get a great complete dinner at home in Chicago for the price I paid for chicken and rice and peas. Quick service is a plus, which never occurs at many other Jamaican restaurants I've supported over the decades.

Great food and service. Had stopped in during a Halloween, my father had the Ackee and Saltfish and said it was amazing. I had the Ox Tail that, while difficult for me to pick off the bone, was so flavorful it made the patience worth it. I would absolutely come back.

We went on a Tuesday night I believe so it wasn't packed. The food was a little bit of a wait but boy was it hot and fresh , the flavor was amazing. I have the steamed fish with veggies and my husband had the ox tails with rice and peas and a french fried chicken to take home . He is Jamaican and loved the food. Felt like home . Our waitress was very attentive and nice. We also had a beef patty which before that night I didn't care for now its all I want .Will be back !

Very good food! I brought my kids to try out Jamaican food. They LOVED the chicken soup with dumplings (they stole all my dumplings!). I loved the plantains and their self-made juice was wonderful. Great culinary find in Blaine!

Shalom (peace) everything was great 😊. The restaurant is nice and clean and the customer service from the young man was excellent. He even went out his way to give me a couple cups of ice. The food was very delicious and flavorful. Loved the plantains and curry chicken. I will tell others and come back the Most Yah willing. Thanks so much for opening a spot here.

Took family of 6 out for late lunch. The place was empty. Our food took 45 minutes to come out. My kids enjoyed the shrimp curry and beef patties. The jerk chicken and fried chicken they barely ate and said it wasn't good. My goat curry was not cooked properly. It was tough! I couldn't even cut it because it was so undercooked. The flavor of the veggies and sauce was good but the rest was inedible. Will not be back as service was slow and most of the food was disappointing.

Food quenched my hunger because I was starving when I ordered it, however I don't think I'll be ordering from here anymore. I've been eating Jamaican food for decades and this is by far the worst for the price. I ordered the curry goat which was served with rice and beans for $25. Compared to the rice and beans, curry sauce tasted great however was served stingily. Grains of rice was so hard it almost felt like raw rice. Goat meat was nice, soft and succulent. Overall, below average for Jamaican food.

Excellent food. Really flavorful. I had the goat, it was the best I've ever had. Rum punch was top notch. Reggae music playing was Irie: Berres Hammond, Beenie Man, Garnet Silk. Cocoa Tea. Service was definitely island time. Great guy, new from Jamaica. I think he was bartender, chef, DJ, AND waiter. When you come, plan to stay a while!

Hidden treasures restaurant. Tonight was our first time eating Jamaican food and we loved it! Also, It's such a nice place and the staff is so friendly. We will most definitely go back. The "Beef patty" is superb, the taste is wonderfully complex and delicious, the texture was perfect. My wife loved the chicken wings and she is picky about them. The natural juice was great, the jerk chicken wrap was awesome. Like I said we will be back.

The food was good the first time. The second time horrible. I confirmed they had what I ordered while in the restaurant. A few moments after I paid for oxtail I was told the didn’t have enough for a full order. I was offered jerk chicken which if far cheaper than what ordered. I also ordered other things spent roughly 80$ in there including tips. Got to my room and the jerk chicken was burnt and dry. I won’t go here again and would never recommend. Restaurants should be consistent. The server that took my order was also rude. Snapping fingers at people like they are dogs is rude. I usually don’t do reviews but this one had to get put out there. If you go check your food. I’m Jamaican raised in Miami when your food is prepped they open it in front of you because we have zero tolerance for bs. If I stayed close in the area I would’ve rode right back up there.

I love this place. Been here about 4X within a week. The beef patties are amazing. I love the flaky French pastry texture that just melts in your mouth. The jerk chicken meal is great also. The chicken is perfectly grilled and very flavorful and you get a pretty good amount of chicken. Good value. I haven't had a bad experience yet.

Irie Vybz prepares the freshest Jamaican food in the Twin Cities. The serving sizes are tremendous, the veggies and herbs are steamed to perfection, and the aroma emanating from the steamy plate is as pleasing as the irie vibes emitted from the colorful stereos. The Rasta Pasta is unlike any other I’ve had! The broccoli was surprisingly crunchy AND tender. Pro tip: order the cocoa bread with this dish and smother it in the creamy herbal sauce… thank me later. I’ll certainly be returning! Peacefully enjoy!
