When you see Gatekeeper, you know your at Cedar Point. It looks more intimidating than it is. Very smooth ride. Not to intense, but has some great inversions and the Epic "Keyhole Flyover" above the entrance!

This ride is very good except for the restraint system. It can be a little uncomfortable at times but that doesn’t take away from the overall experience. The way you see this coaster when you are in line to get into the park is amazing. Though it is only 170 feet tall, it competes with some of the other coasters at Cedar Point.

Was really dreading going on this one because it just seemed to intense for me but I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth it was and it was one of the few that I actually put my arms up! It's definitely intense but the seats on it are fantastic so I felt incredibly secure! Definitely worth a ride!

One of the best coasters I've been on so far. The incredible drop starts slow but is so much fun. The best seat would be on the left side in the back. Night rides are awesome because you get to experience some lights and the whole ride feels a little faster and the near miss elements closer.

Very fun ride and it's nice and close to the hotel breakers and new board walk.

Looks better than it rides, is surprisingly rough for its age, and is very short. However, the drop is amazing, and the zero-g rolls over the entrance are so fun!

This ride is absolutely fantastic! It is so smooth and somewhat relaxing considering all of the turns. I especially like how it twists upside down on the first drop. I highly recommend riding in the first car because it allows you to see the keyhole motion that you go through as you ride on the ride. It's a great way to get off your feet after a long day of walking through the park.

Sit in very front on this ride if you can and on the left side for sure...you barrel roll right into the first drop and it is a better experience.

Gatekeeper is simply fantastic. It is without question in my top 10 of coasters. I do not get why it isn't more popular. The air time is incredible, and the ride is silky smooth! Ride all four corners in the time it takes you to ride one of the big four, once!

A great coaster to start the day!! Since it goes right over the front of the park the name GateKeeper is rightfully so. Many people love to also start with this ride, so if you want shorter wait times I recommend waiting til the end of the day to ride! This coaster has such a fun ride as you literally go between two large key holes during the ride!

A smooth B&M with a killer first roll and beautiful views. What's more iconic than a coaster that literally goes through the gates of the entrance? A gentler ride compared to the rest of CP's lineup but nothing to be slept on. Definitely one of my top 3 in the park.

This is the perfect coaster to introduce your friends to the next level. If they love Iron Dragon, Gatekeeper will thrill them. The barrel roll at the gate, the smooth flight from start to finish!! That indescribable feeling of flying like a bird! Nothing between you and the ground but the air beneath your wings! What a great feeling!!! Just do it! You're ready!

This is a most excellent ride. Smooth with twists and turns that thrill even the most cold hearted people. We rode it three times the last time I was there and made me feel like a teenager each time. The photos weren't working which bummed us out so no pictures. This is a must ride at Cedar Point!

An amazing roller coaster for only the most crazy thrill seekers! Once the ride first starts don't expect a moment of rest until it ends, this coaster breaks 7 world records which makes it the perfect candidate to stand proud at the front of the park. If you go to cedar point you should definitely take a ride on the gate keeper.

A striking reminder that you have come to the coaster capital of America, the gate keeper greets you upon entrance, announcing it's intention. Today will be good. A very fun experience, starting off with a roll is so exciting. Smooth rails glide through the front of the park, and bathrooms? No need to worry here, easy access close to the ride. There is a choice you will make in line, to choose the right or left side. I prefer the far left, for more distance from the track. I hope you have clear skies and low wind on your trip!

Absolutely love this roller coaster! One of my favorites. However, CP was so crazy this past weekend that I am not sure about attending Halloweekends again.

The Gatekeeper is one of my favorite roller-coasters at Cedar Point. With the Fast Pass Plus we were able to ride it multiple times during HollowWeekends.

I LOVE GATEKEEPER SO MUCH! This is one of my favorite roller coasters of all time. The first time I rode it i was really nervous (like crying in the line nervous) because it was so tall and went upside down, but choosing to get on anyways was an amazing decision. It’s a really fun coaster and I promise its not as scary as it looks. The restraints are really comfortable and made me feel secure, the inversions are incredibly fun, and it’s liquid smooth the whole way through. It feels like you’re flying!! I hope everyone has the chance to ride this masterpiece.

Great ride. The first drop is unique. Also the passes through the "gates" added to the thrill. The line for this one was usually short during the early entry hour or right after the standard park opening.

Good ride. The best part is going through the holes. I would give it 5 stars but it always breaks down before or after I go on it. Still smooth after many years.

Gatekeeper is a wonderfully wild experience that achieves its purpose with flying colors. The drop will absolutely catch you off guard if you aren't prepared for it. As you ride, you'll feel like an eagle soaring through the wind as you twist, turn, and dive in and out of the gates of the park. It's definitely a wilder experience in the back, but the front offers a pretty great view of the surrounding beaches. Either way, you won't be bored on this exciting ride.

The gatekeeper is a fun smooth coaster that gives some good thrills without throwing you around too much. Love taking the kids on this ride.
