this place is excellent. the rooms were super clean, the staff was very kind and welcoming, and the view from the rooms were amazing. both the boardwalk and beach are right there! the pool was nice and there is a cozy lounge area. the restaurant was a little pricey, but the food was delicious. cleaning staff was super nice and thorough. they are no contact, but you can request toiletries and towels, which i personally think is perfect. desk attendants were awesome! super cool and wished me happy birthday :) i have two recommendations for guests: 1. if you like thick toilet paper, bring your own. they use one ply and i prefer 2 ply 2. look for deals. my stay was affordable because i had to switch rooms mid trip, which isn’t awful, but not ideal either. overall, amazing experience, i will definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Wildwood!

The view/location is the best feature. Stay on the north side and from the deck watch all the people at the Boardwalk sign. Also can see the beach. Room was nice and big. The elevators are slow. And the whole building could use some updating. Pool was nice The restaurant is overpriced and not that good

Excellent place to stay at Wildwood. Rooms were immaculate. Room service was also great and fast. Great views from the ocean front balcony. Location is good as well at the end of the boardwalk. Only issue was the fold out bed in the couch was shot. But that wasn't a worry of mine.

We had a family emergency to attend and had to leave right away. They could care less and never said they would take care or even offer a refund. When asked if they could prorate the time stayed they informed me absolutely not. The restaurant in house food was very bad do not order the pancakes. The room itself was nice enough but nothing to write home about.

Be careful when booking! We were told be have "an ocean view" and are currently staring at the side of a building. The ocean can be seen from a portion of the balcony.

Good stay for a decent price. We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were comfortable and they had a pool and provided pool towels. The AC was good. The location is right next to the beach. The staff are extremely friendly. We will come back again. They can in future provide beach towels (like how they do in Florida), keep some bottled water in the room and have complimentary breakfast options. And plan your elevator journey, it's extremely slow and tiny.

would give place 0 stars if I could. Booked here no where did it explicitly state you had to be a certain age to check in. Drove 3 hours to get here and check in was super late at 5 pm. Stayed on the beach all day waiting to check in and then when I finally checked in they denied me my room. Should not have allowed for us to book reservations or should have stated somewhere more explicitly that the reservations could not be made. Despite this the manager/owner or whatever old dude was working offered me no help. They basically kicked us out to the curb with no room at 5 pm and no where to stay. All they did was refund the visit. Didn’t offer any help rebooking or anything. No remorse for leaving us stranded. Gave us a post it note with suggested hotel and that was it. Didn’t care we had no where to stay, didn’t scare we drive all this way, and certainly did not care that we had to spend more money to check in much later somewhere else.

Stayed here but won’t again. Although rooms were a great size, the smelled like mold. Not sure if it’s the carpet which smells or just mold under the carpet. Having a very quiet boardwalk was nice! Coffee pot in room BUT no coffee and listing does not state to bring your own. View of the ocean was the best part of this stay however would not stay here again. Disappointed.

Beautiful multistory hotel located literally steps from the start of the boardwalk as well as beach. Beautiful view with oceanfront suites or rooms plus a patio with chairs for enjoying the mornings and evenings. Underground parking available for guests as well as elevators and air conditioned rooms. Incredibly friendly staff that are helpful and pleasant. The attached restaurant has amazing breakfast options at a fair price to start your day. Wonderful hotel for your family vacation!

Good rooms. Wish the pillows were a little better. Beds were very firm but not uncomfortable. Great for location - right next to the boardwalk. Wish the pool was a little bit cooler though. I overheard someone saying it was heated? Not sure. Overall good stay, would recommend. Room seems clean, location is good. Rooms a good size. Will be returning here next year.

Stayed here two weeks ago and absolutely loved it. We had two rooms that connected which was very convenient. Our rooms weren’t ocean front but we could still see the ocean from the 5th floor. Lots of amenities, heated pool was very nice for night swimming. Loved the location and how close it was to the board walk and restaurants. Definitely recommend and would stay here again when visiting Wildwood!

4th year here and we love it! Quiet and right on the beach. Easy walk up to the boardwalk beautiful sunsets and great pool. Rooms are clean and everyone friendly. Only complaint is the elevators are slow, not a big deal most days as ill take the stairs but moving in and out is a bit of an issue.

Fantastic stay new feeling bed. Roomy and convenient. For the price it was leaps and bounds above what I expected as a snob for luxury and comfort. The Family suites have two bathrooms 4 Tvs and a nice size kitchen. I would recommend to bring your own paper towels and coffee filters to use the coffee machine. Right on Beach and at quiet end of board walk. This time of year many restaurants closed but I recommend the Chicken Parm from Vegas Diner. Classic diner with great quality food.

Loved our overnight stay here. We booked a suite with a kitchenette and two queen beds. The beds were a little hard and crinkly from the plastic covering underneath but still got a good nights sleep. The suite was huge, probably twice the size of the one we stayed at in Cape May for half the price. Very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

We just got back from our 1st time at the Adventurer. Hotel was pretty peaceful, room was clean. Housekeeping was excellent. Pool was cleaned daily. Staff was friendly. I really appreciated having a 9ft deep end to the pool and the 1.5ft kiddie section. Negatives I could mention are the elevators are terribly slow, seemed like they zoomed right past us over and over. My mother has breathing issues and thankfully we were only on the 2nd floor because most the time we gave up on waiting for the elevator and we just took the steps, any higher and she wouldn't have been able to. Also would be nice to have an ice machine on every floor. Other than that was great. I'd say the pricing was fair. I recommend it and would come back.

Had a penthouse suite with two bedrooms. We had plenty of space! The rooms were clean and well appointed. Loved the private balcony and oceanfront view. The boardwalk entrance and the beach were mere steps away from the hotel. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. BONUS: There was a bike rental shop directly across the street!

Rooms are not in the greatest condition nor is the overall service top notch. The location is great though, so if you are okay with sacrificing the service and the condition of the rooms you will enjoy stay. My family had minimal interactions with the staff but some people were nice and welcoming and some were just not. The ceiling in the room clearly has marks from previous water damage. Just the overall condition was somewhat beat up. The fact you are able to get to shopping and the beach in less than 5 minutes would make it easy for me to recommend if you can get past those things previously mentioned.

Rooms are nice on the smaller side nothing fancy about it pretty average but they were super clean. Getting new bedding, towels whatever u need was easy. The elevators were sloooowwwww. I would recommend trying to stay as close to 1st floor as possible as taking stairs will save u tons of time. Also, try and carpool as we were in a room that sleeps 8 but only allotted 1 parking space. On street parking is meters 25 cents for 10 mins. 🙀

My family and I love this hotel. We try to come like 2 times a week . We are local and love to have mini staycations. The pool is always so clean and warm . The rooms are extra clean and fresh. Largest rooms I have ever stayed in. We usually stay in room 402 or 101. Both rooms have double balconies facing the ocean and pool. Beautiful views and the most comfortable beds. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook and accommodate a large family. Both rooms are can accommodate up to 8 people. 2 and 3different bedrooms , kitchen and livingroom .and then a very comfortable pull out sofa bed. I would recommend this place to anyone who has a large family.

Rooms are clean & have plenty of space. Ocean view. Two large flat screen TV s, couch & side chair. The unit has a 2 burner stove, refrig, table with 4 chairs, dishes, & pots and pans. Pool is heated & towels available at the desk. Enjoyed our stay.

By far the best hotel ever! I love everything about it & how it’s perfect for a family with children. The staff is amazing and welcoming ! The rooms are spacious, super clean, they have everything available in the room, how everything is organize & love how they updated everything. Love the views from the balcony. The pool clean and warm love how is a heated pool for those chilled days. Steps away from the board walk.🤍 we will always stay with Adventurer , can’t wait to come back in July !

Great location but that wouldn’t matter unless you were happy with the place. You can’t go wrong here. I’ve been here five times and I love the suites. Nice bedroom with comfy beds. Nice size kitchen. Well equipped bathroom that is immaculately cleaned. And the living space is huge. You have a sofa and a chair and two big end tables with drawers to store stuff plus do you have a table that would seat five adults comfortably. And if you happen to get ocean front, there are two really nice Adirondack chairs out there. But you could fit more than two people on that balcony. This is my fifth stay here, and all have been five star. Still family owned and operated. Real pride of ownership shows here.

Very nice hotel with an awesome heated pool. The staff was extremely nice during and after check out. Price was fare. Only complaint I have was the elevator was not working. But I already saw this before booking as I read other reviews. Will stay here again

Actually here right now. First time at Adventurer...7 adults 7 children...3 rooms. Front desk was friendly and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool area was great...bonus for kids was pool was open til 10 pm. Location right at beginning of boardwalk. Only drawback was only one elevator was working. My husband and I are older with knee issues so walking up 6 flights was a problem...wait for elevator could be long. We had previously stayed at Regal Plaza for nearly 40 years but that was sold last year. I think my family has found our new vacation "home" at the Adventurer!

First & foremost the place was clean. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The price was great(we stayed off season & got ocean front). We had the opportunity to stay an additional day & they were able to get us a room at the same price,we had to move rooms but went one up which was even better. If I had a complaint it would be the pillows and bed were hard & the elevators was soooooo slow. The hotel was full, Sunday which I assume most people were checking out took over 30 minutes to get an elevator. Couldn't walk our stuff down because we had a really big suitcase & Cooler. But I would absolutely recommend & stay here again.

The rooms were clean housekeeping was good we got what we needed everyday. The location is great but I was highly disappointed that our "Boardwalk" view room was actually a street view looking right into the side of the hotel next to us. Also that the elevator was broke and there was one elevator for the whole place. It was also broken when we were there last year the same time. With the price of the rooms you would have thought they would have had it fixed. We were late for dinner reservations twice. From the pool to get up to the room and then back down was horrendous. Not bad if you were able to take the stairs but if you're in a wheelchair like my mom was that's totally impossible. At one point we waited 20 minutes for an empty elevator that was just one way. Expressed my concern at the desk and when I was checking out you think they would have compensated. But they didn't I will be looking elsewhere after staying there for 4 years.
