Ding, ding, ding .... we have a winner here. 45 min drive worth every penny. Very friendly staff. Lots of options for food to include the sides. The brisket was very tender and flavorful. The turkey was very moist tender and had an awesome taste as well. The pulled pork was moist and had a great flavor. All the sides were top notch. I was a little skeptical about kettle chips because I don't normally like them but however these were an exception. Before I forget the brisket Chili was phenomenal! It is a sweet Chili not spicy at all but very hardy and served hot. The restaurant was a little small, but very clean and organized. The portion sizes seemed very generous. If I were to knit pick something the BBQ sauce seemed very thin and I prefer thicker sauce. I can't wait to come back.

Great BBQ place to stop for Lunch. I ordered the 3 meat platter with pulled pork, moist brisket, and ribs. The pulled pork was cooked well, great flavor and was moist. It really needed no sauce. The brisket too was good with the sweet BBQ sauce. I was a little disappointed in the ribs as they were tough but they did have good flavor. Also got the baked beans which had a thick rich BBQ sause to them on the sweet side and an order of mac and cheese that wasn't bad. Very friendly staff and clean place to eat or take out. Have a large deck that I am sure would be great to sit out and eat.

Second time here first time for my wife great service overall but slow on a Sunday afternoon no biggie but the food was overall good!! My only complaint is they don't offer combo plates because the specials for that day. Very quaint place to eat inside highly recommend this place.

Best BBQ I can find in NW Ohio. Ribs not sauced, but rather dry rubbed with delicious spices. Should you need BBQ sauce, these are some of the finest I've had as well.

Tried the brisket chilly. Divine! had to order seconds. My wife loved her brisket taco. The awards this place gets are justified.

Nice little BBQ place. Two of us got the two meat with two sides and a drink. It's a lot of food. We could have shared it and been fire. The brisket and pork were good. The baked beans, chili, and chips were great. Staff was very nice and helpful! Reasonably priced.

Not good. People were super nice, small quaint family eatery. The brisket was ground not sliced or shredded and dry. The brisket nachos had liquid cheese and were drenched making the chips soft. There were no burnt ends. Fried bacon wrapped pickles were good. I hope I just went on a bad day but probably won't go back.

Just tried this place for the first time for lunch. Excellent! Fast service and delicious and just the right portion size. Really good BBQ sauces to try also. My wife got the brisket tacos with pico de gallo and I got the brisket nachos with jalapenos. Both very good! We'll have to try the pork next time.

We come here every year during Geobash in Wausseon. The food is fantastic with generous portions and the staff is always friendly. I can't even suggest one dish over another because I've never had one I didn't love

Brisket tacos were amazing. I’m crazy about the homemade potato chips. Also, you gotta try the chili most different chili I’ve ever had. It was fantastic.!!

Food is okay. We went on a week day so they didn't really have many options available. The few sauces to try were heavy on the vinegar, which isn't by itself a bad thing. One of the meats was cold, not warm or hot, which wasn't too surprising since it looked like they reheated it in a warmer from previously made stock they refrigerated. The limited selection of meats, the limited selection of sides, the limited sauces, the portion size vs price (at least on their pulled pork nachos my wife got)... it all played together to just be an average experience. I'll come back sometime on a weekend to try the ribs. I kind of feel like we just caught them at a really bad time of day for them.

Amazing BBQ, I tried almost everything. Chicken was juicy, the pulled pork was perfectly cooked and tender, the brisket was flavorful. My favorite side was the green beans! The Mac and cheese was phenomenal and the chili was amazing.

I took my mother out here to pick up a truck and she saw this place and she wanted to try it. And omg the food was so good. I love their brisket, mac and cheese burrito. It was the greatest brisket I ever had and I'm really picky with my brisket. I'm from Michigan and this was worth the 1 hour drive to come here. I would rate this 10 out of 10 if I could give it.

Food and service were both outstanding! We had the brisket, green beans, baked beans and cole slaw . Brisket was tender and juicey the sides were all good. We will go back.

Nice location overlooking Maumee River, but please, please, call ahead to see if they are really open. I trusted Google Maps (and Yelp) saying they were open on Sunday and bundled up two mobility-challenged 90+ year old relatives for the 20 mile drive to the restaurant. We were most disappointed on arrival to find the restaurant closed.

The baked beans with brisket was amazing. Pulled pork sandwich was good also.

Very nice place! All the locals spoke very highly of it. I was concerned because none of the 5 meats we ordered were hot at all though. The side dishes were, but not the meats. I asked for them to be temperature checked because having had a food born illness before I was concerned. They all registered at 134°-135° I did take the owners card in case there was any issues. Staff was very helpful and contacted the owner immediately about the issue.
