This was my first time going to a doctor concerning balance. My experience was good, I didn't feel nervous or anxious and everything went well. I'm just sorry that I wasn't prepared to ask questions at the time.

The American Institute of Balance has some of the best instructors. They are very engaging and make everything very practical and make the skills easy enough to start using right away in the clinic. This was definitely one of the best and most applicable CEU classes I’ve taken since becoming a PT!

I enjoyed the practicals and the lessons they instill in us. I guess, my two cents is to keep on growing and learning and advancing us. You’re giving us opportunities to give back to the community. Thank you once again! We miss the part where we would take a group pictures! Anyway, more power!

Dr Blasio and the American Institute of Balance is an answer to a prayer. After 30 years of dealing with random bouts of BPPV I now have a place I can call and they are there for me immediately. They are so professional and kind from front desk to Dr. I can't speak highly enough of all.

I left the class feeling confident in my ability to treat patients with concussion and dizziness, despite my limited experience. The instructors were experienced, knowledgeable and able to answer all questions thoroughly. All information presented was evidence based.

I recently completed the vestibular rehabilitation certification hybrid CE. I could not have been happier with the experience. The on-line portion was thorough, and easily accessed. The live portion had a review of the on-line content, allowing for questions to be addressed, followed by hours of hands-on practice of each technique. I felt absolutely ready to treat after this experience. I cannot recommend them more highly.

The Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Certification course was extremely informative. AIB does an excellent job at making complex topics easy to understand with practicality in mind. I was able to utilize techniques learned at a Saturday workshop the following Monday with success. Highly recommend for any practitioners treating this patient population.

  • 5/5 Sandy R. 2 years ago on Google
The Vestibular and Concussion certification course through AIB was fantastic. I really enjoyed the self-paced study component, which was thorough and well-organized. The in-person portion really helped put it all together as far as treatment and made me feel ready to start using everything I learned first thing on Monday. I would highly recommend this course to any clinicians looking to up their game as it relates to management of the vestibular and concussion patient population!

An excellent and professional practice that thoroughly evaluated my significant balance issue and provided resolutions through physical therapy that offered me a great deal of hope that my problem could be resolved. I highly recommend the American Institute of Balance to anyone experiencing balance issues!!!

This course was far more than I bargained for– both with the online content and the in person learning day. AIB provided a well designed course directed toward the clinician. The content was very high level yet clearly presented and the teachers were knowledgeable, skilled and kind. I came away with more skills and clinical strategies than I had anticipated. I am delighted with what I have learned and can’t wait to go to work tomorrow an apply it!

The hybrid structure of the Vestibular and Concussion course is a great blend of self paced online learning and in person hands on skill training. The in person component was informative, active, and fun! It was great to have several presenters to ensure everyone felt adept at the skills. This is among one of the best courses I have taken in my 30 year career!

The instructors were very helpful in training me how to be come comfortable with vestibular evaluations and rehabilitation. As an audiologist, I lack the skills that most physical therapists have for maneuvering patients, but they definitely got me caught up with the correct techniques to prevent back injury. I am very happy with the quality of the education I received.

  • 5/5 Karen B. 1 year ago on Google
The online portion of the course was well organized and presented with experienced professionals. The one day course really helped to tie it all together to improve practical use. The course presenters were friendly, available to answer questions and had the clear goal to insure success and understanding. I found it very helpful to hear from professionals practicing the techniques and specializing in vestibular and concussion cases.

The hybrid vestibular and concussion course was perfect for me. I am fairly new to treating this patient population with little experience or training since DPT school. The instructors presented evidence backed assessment and treatment techniques in ways that were easy to learn. We also had plenty of time to practice and get feedback from the instructors. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn more about these two specialties.

Was experiencing vertigo and called for an appointment and was able to get in 3 days later. Dr. Blasio was very patient and attentive and explained everything about the tests very well. She was also very gentle and patient knowing I wa ks having a vertigo attack. After a BPPV diagnosis, I was scheduled for several maneuver appointments and after 3 my vertigo was cleared. Knowing what’s happening makes dealing with the vertigo much easier and Dr Blasio was exceptional and putting my mind at ease and explaining every step of what she did and answering all my questions. Thai place and Dr Blasio are a godsend. Hoping I don’t have to go back any time soon but I know if I do I am in good hands.

From setting up appointment right thru to my visit/exam this was absolutely best Dr office experience I’ve ever had. Courteous, professional, patient and a well run office with hardly a wait time. They will help you, answer your questions and treat you respectfully. I highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop. The videos were organized and straightforward, easy to watch and understand. Several things that had felt a little confusing or complicated that I had learned in the past were simplified and streamlined in this course. I feel more confident and informed to continue my practice as a vestibular therapist.

I have been treating patients with vestibular disorders for awhile. The AIB Vestibular Certification was highly recommended to improve my treatment strategies. I was pleased with the online + in-person hybrid to work through the content on my own, then to have the lab component together. I left the course with improved knowledge that was presented in an easy and enjoyable way. I will highly recommend this certification to any of my colleagues that treat vestibular conditions!

I called yesterday. The phone was answered immendiatley. The girl was extremely helpful. My appointment was today. I was admitted almost as soon as I arrived. Both the doctor and her assistant were very caring and did all kinds of tests and explained everything. I can't tell you how impressed I was with everything.

Dr Blasio was amazing. She took the time to listen to my concerns and took her time testing me for my vertigo. She was very patient and empathetic throughout the entire process. She also is very knowledgeable about what she does. She was able to diagnose and treat my vertigo the same day. I couldn't be more happy. The front desk associate was very friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in. Great office and equipment and great people! I highly recommend them for any vertigo concerns.

OMG! First of all..I am a REAL LIVE PATIENT! I had vertigo and for those of you who have ever experienced bppv (vertigo) you understand how frightening it is, how debilitating it is, and how helpless you feel and hopeless life feels. The American Institute of Balance (Dr.Hampton) did my initial testing on Friday. Made my treatment appointment on Monday. She is amazingly compassionate and knowledgeable and best of all she got the crystals back in place and I have 0 dizziness. Anyone who feels hopeless PLEASE KNOW THERE IS HOPE! They say with one treatment you will walk out with no dizziness. THIS WAS TRUE FOR ME! Don't hesitate. I feel so relieved to know they are here and they KNOW how to treat patients with vertigo. Thank you Dr. Hampton You actually gave me my life back in one session! I am forever grateful.

The hybrid course was put together so well. This is by far the best vestibular rehabilitation course I have taken in the last 12 years. The course material is directly applicable to clinical practice and fosters a systematic approach to evidence- based evaluation and treatment.

Took the vestibular rehab and concussion certification course. This was a great class. I was worried about the length, but the 9 hours in person seemed to fly by. Instructors all were very knowledgeable too and each complimented the others when teaching. The self study part initially seemed over whelming, but it was easy to go at your own pace with nice stopping points.

  • 5/5 Joan B. 11 months ago on Google
This is a comprehensive and very well organized course of study. All instructors demonstrated the techniques well and provided ample opportunity to provide one on one assistant to all students. Excellent course, and provided information that made all concepts understandable to the novice in this specialty of direct patient care .

I would highly recommend the Vestibular Rehab and Concussion Certification course to anyone interested in treating these populations in the future. The course was user-friendly, informative, engaging, and fun! Instructors from AIB are extremely knowledgeable and personable, which really enhanced the experience. After attending their course this weekend, I feel competent and confident to treat dizzy patients on Monday morning!

I was terrified going into my appointment because of the expectation the ENTs I had seen elsewhere had set. Once I got there Francesca made me feel so incredibly at ease. She explained every last detail of what she was going to do and what to expect. I got answers, I got relief, & now I have an amazing resource for any future BPPV episodes. I cannot thank AIB and especially Francesca enough.

  • 5/5 Sharon M. 4 years ago on Google
There aren’t enough words to fully express how I feel about AIB. They check all the boxes for patient care. Simply put, I have experienced my first miracle.

Doctors were good. Couple issues with billing, but thankfully they have a competent staff willing to go above and beyond to make sure the patients are well taken care off. Thanks Brittany!

  • 5/5 Cassie L. 3 years ago on Google
They explained each exercise we were doing to determine what was exactly going on with my body. They also sent me a list of PT’s that take my insurance. They sent me home with an entire folder of info and actually sat down and took their time explaining stuff, all with visuals. This might not mean much to some but, I am definitely a bigger girl around 290, and they kept referring to me as “a healthy girl with no limits” and “a healthy girl like you will recover” it was nice to know that they saw beyond my size. They were helpful is recommending workouts I was able to do, and seemed like they truly cared. I will be back if I need help again, as they were truly so kind. Thank you!

Lovely people! I felt thoroughly tested when I left, after ruling out a possible cause of my falls. They were very diligent with their COVID-19 precautions which made me feel safe. I would gladly recommend this place if your doctor suggests it!

This is the first time I have ever had treatment for crystals in my ear. They were very professional and extremely friendly. I had Paxton who treated me and explained everything every step of the way. I wasn’t sure it was going to work but in fact she fixed everything and I now have no balance issues. Everything was done on time no waiting. I got an appointment quickly and I would recommend them to anyone who has issues with balance. It has changed my life!

If testing can be fun..... This was fun. I was given an explanation of what was going to happen every step of the way. For 2/3 of the tests I was laying down or sitting in a comfy chair! At the end, I was given a complete and easy to understand explanation of the working of the ear and the results of my testing.

The audiology test was done by resident. The doctor Brittany Fauble was not in the room at all while resident performed the test. She just came to get the results and left the room without saying anything to me. Next time when I called to schedule the same test again they quoted me different price $260 for the same test I did a week ago and paid $60 and they basically refused me as a patient under the same conditions. Need to mention that I did not use the isurance and was paying out off my pocket all the way so no insurance was involved. When I asked why I was told that Dr. Fauble told her so. When I asked why I was paying lower price $60 a week ago vs $260 this time she just said I don't have an answer to that. Why I was accepted as a patient to do the test a week ago, and was told that something they do normally, but now thay will not accept me under the same conditions like the last time. They may have good reviews but scretch the surface and you will be disappointed. They are many maker as it says on their website page learn how to turn 11 dizzy patient into $300,000 + business center. Dizziness is a good business. This is word to word from their web page. They are presenting themselves as professionals and at the same time the doctor did not perform the test as I mentioned. Instead it was a resident from the begginig to the end and doctor was not in the room at that time at all. What kind of professionalism is that?
