I lived in the Doral and i used to love to go to Sokai, small very nice and the sushi with Peruvian flare. I was by the Falls and I saw Sokai and the urge to bring back that wonderful feel in my pallet for great sushi. I sat in the Bar and immediately Nathalie came over and she gave me some great recommendations, boy she was right on point. Within minutes i had my drink and appetizers and right after my main lunch course. I had to call my wife and tell her nostalgic the taste was and that i wanted to come back on the weekend for Dinner. I can tell you what ever you order it will be delicious.🍱🍣💪 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great experience. We had a live performance, we listen to Latin music through the night. Our waitress Maria Eugenia was very attentive. She recommended me a sushi roll that was spectacular. It was nice to spend my birthday here around nice people and good service.

Delicious and huge variety of sushi rolls, Peruvian dishes, and other Japanese cuisine. I enjoyed how the flavors were beautifully paired, and the drinks were strong as well. I recommend the Moscow mule and ebi roll special. Can’t go wrong with either of them. Thank you for the great and timely service despite how busy it was.

The best sushi I ever had in my life! Highly recommend. Parking near Lifetime / mall . Easy access and Amazing sushi and service. Mind blowing experience and taste. My son enjoyed his California rolls and Teriyaki chicken.

Food was tasty, but they didn’t have the drink I came to the restaurant for. The server was nice and comped my drink to make up for the shortage. Everything was prepared well and dishes were flavorful. I was hoping to sit outside and enjoy the live music, but the waiting list was longer for outside. After a 40 minute wait to get a table, I was happy just to be seated. Menu is extensive, but after reviewing a few of the rolls, I felt they all had the same ingredients. They need to be more creative in fusing ingredients together. There were no rolls with mango, guava, sweet plantain or coconut flakes, which is unusual for a sushi restaurant in Miami. All things considered, I would return.

Oscar!! That’s all I need to say. But in all Honesty he’s the best server I’ve ever had. Even more than fine dining. He’s very detailed oriented and checks on the table. Making great suggestion on food and drinks! I come here all the time and always ask for Oscar! You should too :)

This place is so cute! I’ve always been a fan of Sokai’s Peruvian/ Japanese twist and like all of them this one does not disappoint. The service was a bit slow but I think our waitress was new. It was a bit annoying that she mostly spoke Spanish because we don’t, so communication was difficult and she kind of avoided us. Well overall, the food made up for any faults.

A hidden gem that is absolutely delicious! The portions were a fulfilling size with flavor in every bite. A large menu with something for all tastebuds. Our server, Fabi, was very welcoming and attentive throughout our visit.

Yuri was an amazing server who provided my boyfriend and I with great suggestions! We did the dragon roll and brie temptation and both are so tasty and fresh! We definitely will be back :) the waygu burgers were so delicious as well!

The tuna tataki we ordered as an appetizer was cut as thinly as tissue paper. The signature rolls did not have adequate servings of tuna or salmon (multiple pieces had none). Although the food had decent flavor, when a restaurant blatantly skimps on the main ingredient that goes into a dish, and demands $20-$30 per appetizer or roll, it becomes exceedingly difficult to justify a return visit. Only high-end restaurants in Miami can get away with this approach, only because it is somewhat expected to be ripped off for "the experience" and "the ambience."

First of all, I was looking for a place to eat and had never heard of this place, but the menu looked so attractive in the website that I had to give it a shot. As soon as we entered the atmosphere and aesthetic were gorgeous, from the art to the decorations. Our Server Oscar was extremely polite, asked us if we had any questions about the menu, told us some specials, and was lovely all around. The food was AMAZING, I can personally. E a little picky with sushi, I’m not a huge fan of uncooked and avocado but the options are extensive and I tried both the Brie Temptation and the Ebi Special—they were both extremely delicious. I am definitely recommending this place to friends, and coming back again!

This was our first visit. Our server was kind, patient and took pretty good care of us. Dinner was yummy; Beverages were different but quite enjoyable; ambience was upbeat yet pretty calm. The menu, though a little confusing at first glance, had a little variety. Definitely a dining experience well spent.

Amazing food. The Guaca Truffle roll is a must try. Five stars all the way through. Our sever Sara was amazing!!!!!! Erick, the manager, was super attentive. Best kept secret in the falls.

It’s not bad. Maybe it’s just the dishes ordered. One taste like soy sauce and the other taste more like of the same soy sauce just stronger and different add on ingredient. The Ceviche is good, tasted like a remix. Order tea to go, I got a shot of tea to go. So I’m not fond of that as a tea lover. Not worth the $4-5 dollars. The dessert is quite small too for its price. Will I go again? Maybe, just doe the entrees. Would I recommend? Don’t get tea or dessert and I would say okay.

Daniela was AMAZING! Seriously one of the best servers I've ever had while dining out. This was my boyfriends first time trying Peruvian food and my second so we were not as familiar with the cuisine. She took the time to ask what we like and made amazing recommendations based on that. She paid attention to detail and checked up on us just enough. She was personable and so welcoming. The food was great but her service made the experience even better. Will definitely be coming back here next time we're in the area!

Being here a couple of times before this visit and everything was delicious, however this visit we were a bit discouraged by the seasoning been too salty by a way of using in excess salt, salty seasonings or say sauce and found the food a bit low in quality. Highly recommend the coconut lemonade!

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for so long and we love it . The food, service , and ambiance is great! Nathalie was our server this time and wow what a great service she gave us , We tried something new this time thanks to her , the wagyu tiradito and was really good ! 👍🏻 💕🍣

I’ve visited Sokai about 4 times and always enjoy their food. The quality is great and the flavor is delicious but the prices are a bit high. I ordered two rolls and an order of gyozas and the total was over $60, they also charge $1.50 per spicy mayo and the containers come half empty which I find unacceptable. The restaurant is decorated nicely but it is pretty casual and located in a mall so in my opinion the prices don’t match

I really wanted to like this place but I found it mediocre. Skip the Sashimi Platter. For $45 you get 6 sticks of imitation crab and 3 shrimp. Not worth it at all. The rolls were lacking as well (cream cheese in all of them just fills space that should be fish). I would say skip the sushi as a whole. The drinks were fantastic and the service was great. Those were the saving graces.

Really good food! Great service! Came here for lunch with my daughter. The menu is pretty big. It was hard to choose from. The online menu has pictures so it made everything very appealing. I would have loved to have ordered at least 5-6 items. We ordered the traditional ceviche to share as an appetizer. I had the protein punch sushi roll. My daughter had a lobster roll that the waitress told us about, but that’s not on the menu. It has a lot of coconut in it. She’s not a huge coconut fan, but loved the roll. I also loved my roll. We just had water, but even so, without drinks, the bill was still $65. So it can be pricey. I guess that’s the way it is everywhere now. We gave the waitress a huge tip, as she was wonderful. Super helpful, attentive, friendly, and professional. I would love to go here and try everything on the menu.

This was our first time here and we loved it! Camila was our server and she was wonderful! She suggested a sushi roll that was AMAZING! I also had some miso soup that was so fresh! We will definitely be coming back!

Great food, great service and drinks. Eugenia, Alejandra, and Oscar were outstanding. Highly recommend asking for them. The rolls were scrumptious and saucy. Peruvian food was on point. Impeccable from the moment you walk through the doors until you leave. You couldn’t ask for a better time on a date or out with the family. The hostess Jojo was great too! Definitely coming back!

We have been here 5 times already and every time the food is delicious. We had given it a 5/5 but this is the 2nd time the service is terrible, I must say the other times the service was outstanding! 1st we had to wait outside this time 15-20 min acceptable, then they called us in and sat us at a table another 20 min without water, no one introduced themselves and we decided to get up and leave. Ps: if you got all day and don’t mind waiting the food is worth it. For us service is important and our time is valuable, you decide!

This is a great cozy spot for some sushi or something from the Kitchen! The food was great, the drinks were great and our server, Daniela, was amazing! She took great care of us! Really enjoyed eating here and will definitely be coming back!

Food was good not great. Best thing was the lobster tacos and wagu sliders. Glasses had lipstick on them. Plates were dirty. Furniture was dirty. Ceiling had giant cobwebs flying green in the breeze. Total turn off. Just not a good look. Staff was pleasant. Valentina was sweet. The bartender seemed lost and got part of the order wrong but he was a nice guy. I would go back if they could get the cleanliness right.

I’ve only tried the sushi here but I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. They have a Japanese and Peruvian fusion - and they did it right. Ordered the sushi roll with Brie and the crispy tuna guac appetizer and it was the perfect snack.

Recently dined at Sokai Sushi Bar and can’t believe we have never been here before. So many wonderful food options, presented beautifully, and so delicious!! The ceviche was out of this world. Our server Dani was incredible. She made some excellent recommendations and was very attentive to our dining needs. We had a wonderful experience and will be adding this restaurant to our rotation.

I had Oscar as a waiter and he killed it. Suggested the wagyu sliders and fries with parmesan on it straight fire. Oscar for the win he was on it asked us if we are allergic to anything and kept the drinks coming. Bills was not a lot for what we had. Again ask for Oscar for the perfect service.

Another amazing time here! We sat outside and we had beautiful weather, live music which was perfect, and superb service & hospitality. The food was delicious, 5 stars. Oscar was very attentive and provided excellent service! And the manager Erick went out of his way to make sure we have an amazing experience as always! Definitely recommend!

Daniela was very helpful and attended us very nicely putting as much attention to us as she could. The food is good, for desser i recommend the cheese cake it was delicious, as well as the donuts. You need to go here and spend an evening with the family!

the food was absolutely incredible, so fresh & unique combinations! i highly recommend the risotto a la huancaina with lono saltado. also our server, Daniela, was extremely kind! she was quick, well informed on the menu, and a great server overall. we will definitely come back!
