We have been having a lot of trouble getting someone to complete our bathroom remodel project. We contact Mr Handyman of Papillion and received a call within a few hours to discuss our project. Everything was outlined perfectly and the project came out great and very timely. One thing that we learned through our first home project was communication (from start to finish) was important to us. Having a company call us same day, to texting us when they would be coming, who would be coming, and when they were on the way was a huge plus for us. As someone who has no clue what we were doing, we finally found the service and communication we were looking for. We will definitely be utilizing Mr Handyman of Papillion again for any of our next projects coming up. A+++++ service!

Mr. Handyman demo'd and replaced the wood railing in our two-story foyer with a beautiful metal and wood railing. This is a project I had been trying to get completed for the past five years but it seemed to be too small for a contractor and too large for the average handyman. Fortunately, Mr. Handyman proved to be just the right solution. John, the professional who tackled our railing project (and several other smaller projects on a previous occasion) is highly skilled, professional, pleasant and respectful of my time. I cannot speak highly enough of his work ethic and the results he achieved for us!

Mr Handyman did excellent work on my flooring install of luxury vinyl plank. Jim worked quickly and efficiently, was on time, has good craftstmanship and offered advice on other projects that I inquired about. The bill came in under the projected bid, which was nice. Had to have a rotted post replaced on my porch, and they were very quick, responsive, and fairly priced. The work was great quality, and we received helpful advice to prevent future issues. Very happy, would use them again.

ATTENTION POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS, DO NOT use Mr. Handyman of Papillion Dan Johnson the owner is an aggressive person and raised his voice at me in my own home. This was a terrible experience. I called stating that we would be listing our home to sell and wanted someone to come in and fill all the picture holes and touch up paint accordingly. Brenda gave me a verbal quote of $250. Jacob arrived and was very friendly. I showed him where the clearly labeled paint was and showed him what I was referring too. I went behind him after approximately 1 ½ hours and realized he wasn’t filling the holes just putting paint on the wall that didn’t even match. I wasn’t expecting them to purchase matching paint but to utilize the paint we had. He didn’t correct the problem. He missed many holes and didn’t even attempt to blend the paint. There were even areas where he had two paint colors mixed because the brush wasn’t well cleaned. I called the office and spoke with Dan who immediately spoke down to me. Telling me it must be that the paint is old which is incorrect and that the paint not matching is my fault and that I could have placed all the paints needed in their designated locations. Which I would have gladly done if requested. The paint is stored in a cool dry place and many of the paints are less than 2 years old, but Dan was unwilling to stop interrupting me. He continued to tell me that Jacob did the work, so I requested that they come inspect the work. Dan refused to acknowledge the poor work and proceed to make excuses. Never once offering to fix the problem. He proceeded to escalate to the point that I felt uncomfortable being in a room with him and had to ask him to leave my home. His assistant Brenda was so uncomfortable that she remained downstairs which is a very scary situation for any women to be in. Over a week later I finally received an invoice for $700 and they threatened to put a lien on my home if I did not pay.

Having more issues than before. Handyman came out to repair a door and now the door isn't latching properly. Extremely disappointed with their service, especially for what they charge.

Had handyman replace a piece of drywall in the bathroom ceiling that had been damaged from a roof leak. Also, do a spackling patch that requires texturing. Both of these jobs will require another visit to finish up. So far, work has gone well and the handyman has been very professional.

I would like to say that Jim is the best!!! Jim did some window repair for me and I asked if there was a way he could look at a plumbing issue I had. I was able to get my plumbing done in the same day without waiting. Jim fixed my water pressure in my house that I have been dealing with for 22 plus years and no other company could figure out the issue but he did in less than 5 minutes. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs repair as they are honest, fair prices, friendly and gets the job done.

We had them come install kitchen backsplash tiles. They were very responsive to my inquiry and questions. And helped a lot in planning supplies and timeframes. The work is great! Looks awesome, and very glad I didn’t have to do it myself. Prices were well within my expected budget. Definitely will call them again :-)

very professional; arrived ahead of scheduled; completed work within 45 minutes. They were able to complete the work around the insulation and did not need to drill any additional holes inside the sunroom and outside on the siding. Perfect work!

They charge $132 an hour. IF that is affordable to you, then go for it. I was not impressed enough with the work to pay that much again.

This is the second time I have used their services. Jacob came out again and was exacting, professional and determined to make us happy. Whether putting up shelves or installing a weathervane on our gazebo, the work was amazing and so are the personnel. I will use them any time I need a hand.

Mr. Handyman of Papillion did a siding replacement on my chimney as well as some exterior painting. Their technicians showed up on time and they always sent text alerts to let you know they were on their way. The quote I received from them was significantly lower than several other companies in the area and Dan and Brenda worked quickly to work me into their schedule. Would definitely recommend their services and will be using again in the future.

The technician called me with a good estimate of his arrival time prior to the appointment, fixed my problem quickly, and was very pleasant.

Mr Handyman did some minor siding repair on my home. They did an outstanding job from start to finish. Dan, who is the owner, was top notch with customer service and communication. The two carpenters doing the job were friendly and informative. I would call them again without hesitation if I needed a job done right!

Travis was punctual, and he was very professional. We had him tear out and install a new mailbox, repair a broken railing, and clean all of the helicopters off of our roof. I requested an appointment online, and the company called to clarify the exact work to be completed, and set up an appointment within a week.

Rock star status: John and Brenda --- I had some drywall that needed repaired on a commercial property for one of my biggest clients. My normal drywall guys were unavailable on such short notice, but BRENDA asked the right questions to evaluate the need and had one of her guys out there in less than 2 hours, (I wouldn't expect that every time, but she seemed to understand my urgency and she took care of me.) When JOHN showed up, he was clean, and professional. He asked the right questions and understood the job thoroughly before taking off to get materials, and he was able to start the job, within about 4 Hrs. of the original call. I was updated through the process, and I got a call when the job was completed. (Quicker than I anticipated.) My client was completely blown away by the way it was handled. I didn't get extra charges for faster service; I didn't get extra fees for stuff that wasn't necessary. Thanks a lot for a GREAT JOB JOHN and BRENDA!!!

My dryer vent is very high off the ground and birds made a home in it last season. I bought a cage designed to keep birds out and had Mr. Handyman come out to clean the vent and install the cage. They arrived on time and completed the work quickly & safely. I felt better knowing it was done and I didn't have to risk climbing a ladder (that I don't have) on sloped ground on the side of my house. I'm looking forward to partnering with with Mr. Handyman for future projects.

This bunch is fantastic! They do fantastic work. We had some drawers at work come up missing and they did their magic and you cannot even tell which ones they replaced. After our National office saw their work they are so impressed they have hired them. Also, Dan is very easy to work with which makes me feel at ease. My company depends on me and so I expect flawless work and they deliver.

Mr. Handyman of Papillion responded immediately to our call, had a workman, Jim Wiezorek, out to our house within a couple of days, who seem to be capable of just about any sort of home repair. He gave us a reasonable estimate, we scheduled him for the following week, he showed up on time with a helper, and did the work in two days just as promised. He kept in touch with us during those two days about any thing that showed up, such as the bottom of the stair having rotted, and made sure that we knew exactly what he was doing and when he would be finished. They built new front steps, fixed a sliding glass door, fixed the rotting subfloor, replaced four rotting boards on our deck, And installed a hose on the deck so that we did not have to go underneath and turn on the water to water plants on the deck. We were extremely pleased, especially given our history of hiring home repair and renovation services that don’t show up when they say they will, disappear without warning, leave tools lying around, leave some part of the house disassembled and in disarray for days, and don’t do what they say they will do. I would recommend Mr. Handyman of Papillion unreservedly.

We needed a small 2x4 foot area tiled because one of the tiles was broken. I was quoted $500-600 to tile the 2x4 area! I thought that was a bit expensive, based on my own personal experience, having remodeled 2 bathrooms in the house with all new tile. This job would take 3 hours maximum for an experienced tile guy. I then asked for a written quote for the job and Mr. Handyman refused to give me a written quote. I’m not sure why he wouldn’t give me a written quote, but I thought it was strange. Based off of my brief experience with Mr. Handyman, I would not use them for any services, especially if they are going to try to inflate the price of simple jobs.

Fast very friendly. Slightly expensive but job done right!

Repairs to the outside of the house. Painting touch up and some facial repairs. The paint work did not last 2 years as it was not primed first. The replaced facia needs to be replaced again.

Put in a pet door for me. I should have told him he needed to wear a mask but I thought that would go without saying. Also, left the insulation and wall that he cut out on the kitchen floor. Took him 1 1/2 hours to install the door. Seems like a long time.

Jim came out for a few days and we installed a new floor in our house. I am pretty handy myself but needed to have an extra person to speed the process. I am kind of a perfectionist but he really did great work. The repairman that completed my tasks was very friendly and did a great job of explaining to me what he was going to do to fix my problems. I had a leak in my shower with attempts to have a contractor come me out to provide an estimate. After multiple attempts, no contractor agreed to come out. Mr Handyman came out the next day and fixed my leak and Regrouted and sealed my shower. While he was here, I had him do several other jobs and did a great job. I would definitely recommend as well as call again.

All they wanted was my money. Came out to look at a bathroom to remodel. Asked what I had for money, I said I was hoping to spend around 5-6k. They ask me "well how much money do you have?" I said I don't want to go over 8k, he says " for 8k or more we can give you a good bathroom." I told them to leave my house.
