Super homey, go on a quick lunch break or a relaxed dinner with friends and family. Wide selection of simple, Japanese classic toppings. Both soba and udon are made with so much love, I love the texture. The light yet flavorful bonito broth encapsulates the expertly crafted noodles. Can't wait to go back to try all the toppings!

This is great real Japanese food! It’s not “fast” food. Expect to eat fresh food! I didn’t wait SO long but the food does take some time. It’s very much worth it! 🙏👌

Came here on Saturday afternoon for the soba noodles with tempura with my family. Love hole-in-the-wall places and understand service is usually an afterthought, but...We felt like we inconvenienced her when we asked for recommendations because she was very snappy and condescending. It felt horrible. The broth was tasty but the soba and the whole experience from the run down place and unnecessary rude service, took away from a nice family experience. So sad cause the tempura was good.

On the second day of my trip to California with my friends from Seattle, we were looking for a quick and simple lunch spot when we stumbled upon a Japanese udon restaurant that served hot, savory broth. The atmosphere reminded me of a restaurant I used to frequent in a Korean neighborhood, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. The unique udon menu items we saw on offer were also very impressive and something I had never seen before in Seattle or Korea. Most importantly, the broth was exactly to my liking, so it didn't feel too heavy as my first meal of the day, and the staff were all very friendly and kind. Despite the Seattle-like cloudy and chilly weather, my body and mind were warmed up, and I felt great.

A good friend told me that the soba noodles are handmade in the back of this restaurant and the story is too good to check because the soba is awesome. I like it cold but you can get it hot. It feels (and is) so healthy. Hot and cold teas are complimentary.

Had a great lunch here. Udon was fantastic! The staff was very nice and courteous. I saw some reviews saying it’s cash only - they do take card now. The free self-serve hot tea was also a very nice addition to the meal.

It was a bad experience. We arrived around 2pm and ordered the food, but until 3pm we still didn’t get our food. Same situations happened to other customers, but their solution was vey unprofessional. Who went to the count argued with the staff and they could get their food immediately. Some people like us chose to wait could not get food. So that led to people who arrived later than us got their food already. They really should change otherwise nobody want to go there and wait for nothing for an hour!!!

Wonderful, unpretentious dining. I had to google what the different menu items listed were, but that was part of the fun for me. My meal came out fast and was exactly what the doctor ordered for my scratchy throat. Broth was great and the soba noodles were too.

Very simple, but great! Needed to reset my diet for the week because I was eating too much red meat and unhealthy foods. Soba seemed like a perfect meal, not too heavy but still a decent portion amount of food. The workers all speak Japanese as well, which is always reassuring to me when I eat at Japanese restaurants.

🇯🇵 JAPAN Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles: When a place ships fresh Japanese buckwheat across the Pacific in refrigerated cargo containers and even supplies some local South Bay favorites like I-naba with soba, it clues you in to the must order dish offered at Ichimi Ann, which also has "Bamboo Garden" on its sign in English. That soba, while different from a hot pepper for sure, also bursts with flavor on each bite.

Got the Kakiage Hot Soba and a side of Salmon Onigiri. The food came out quick and was quite delicious. This place is CASH ONLY but there is an ATM next door and they did mention we could order on their website to eat in restaurant but the prices are a bit higher. Parking is available behind the building.

Absolutely some of the best cold soba around. No frill restaurant. Staff was helpful.

If you don’t end up finishing your meal.. I’ll be very disappointed in you! Whole in the wall type place! Give it a try immediately. Worth every slurp. 🍜🍚

Very tasty cold dipping soba. I enjoyed every moment of it, from the wasabi to the green onions, dipped to perfection. You pay first and have to bus your own table when you're done but all in all great experience.

The food is good but I am not too sure if their price is right. Maybe the restaurant owner invested too much money on their exotic interior??? He harvests his own buckwheat and process everything with his hands??? It's a mystery.

It’s been a while since I visited this place. I came here today and ordered Katsu-don and Zaru combo. Pork meat was hard and no taste although rice is still ok. Zaru had a parchment paper under soba. Probably they want to omit to wash Zaru itself but unnecessary water from soba didn’t go through and soba became so watery. It made dip sauce weaken and didn’t taste nice compare to before. Since taste is not good level and became expensive due to inflation and etc, it is sad but I will probably never come back to this place, although this used to be my favorite location.
