The waitress was so friendly and went above and beyond to help us out and make our experience fantastic. Every single thing we ate was magnificent. We particularly liked the stuffed tomato and the squash salad. The Matterhorn dessert was very rich, but delicious as well. Even the pretzel bread, ham, and butter sandwich was tasty. We also enjoyed the decorations and seating options. I can't wait to go back!

Fantastic chocolate and dine in experience. I was immediately greeted by friendly service who pointed out the tarts, cakes, and cafe area to me. They were patient with my questions and some indecisiveness of what I wanted, but nice when I finally ordered a cappuccino and chocolate raspberry pastry. I decided to sit down and was given a water and silverware to enjoy my stay. The raspberry pastry was delicious! It wasn't dry or too sweet, and the raspberry flavor wasn't overpowering but truly complimented the cake. The cappuccino tasted wonderful as well and paired nicely with the pastry. It was also cute to have a complimentary chocolate. Overall, an amazing place to visit to take a break from life and enjoy some amazing food and drinks with wonderful service.

My favorite place for fine Suisse cuisine and great chocolates and awesome desserts. It is also a great place for coffee. My Father who is Swiss would go here when He visited KC. I have been going here since 1994. My son loves it and so do I. They have a very friendly staff and a really great Swiss atmosphere. I give it ten stars.

I really enjoyed lunch here. Everything was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and all the dessert cases were excellent.

Super cute place. The front is all the chocolate 🍫 shop and the selection is huge. I had the dining in the back. Came here for lunch. They have a lunch menu and each dish comes with two sides and a dessert. Or you can get al la carte. Of course, I got the whole shabang! I tried the vol au vent which is chicken and mushroom cream 🍗🍄 and it was delicious. The portions look pretty small but when you have all of the sides with it too, the meal is pretty filling🥗🥣. Everything tasted wonderful. I got the soup of the day and it was great. And I got the vanilla square🍰, which was very rich. But everything combined made for a filling lunch. But not so filling that I couldn’t walk after. The waitress forgot our complementary bread but that’s ok lol. It really was the perfect amount of food! I am pleased. ☺️

I have many fond memories of lunch with friends here all the way back to the 1980's. Their food is excellent. My last visit was to get a heart shaped single serving cake. They had shared a picture of them on Instagram. It was a 2 layered chocolate cake with a layer of chocolate mouuse and covered with a thin layer of chocolate gnache and decorated with a small, pretty candy flower. It was amazing! Their cases of desserts and candies 3 days before Valentine's Day were absolutely beautiful. I wanted one of every thing! 😃 Andre's never disappoints. 4/16/22 - I ordered one of their chocolate Easter eggs online and picked it up about 3 weeks before Easter. I opened it today. It was so nicely packaged and the chocolate inside the egg are delicious.

Holy cow! What a find! Can't believe how good all the food, coffee, and dessert were along with the service. Super busy this weekend, but you would never know it by how incredible the service was. Oh, yeah. And the chocolate was outstanding!

Took my visiting sister- in- law to this very special place. Their quiche was delicious, as always, and our Raspberry Mocha's were heavenly! Desserts are the treats I save room for! I had the layered chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. Yummy! I also bought desserts to go for dinner later. Setting is Swiss decor that includes beautiful pictures of 🇨🇭 Switzerland! Friendly servers! I enjoy taking out of town guests here as well as sharing with local friends for lunch.

Andres has always been one of my favorites! Their lunch specials are incredible, and you can never go wrong with any of their chocolates or pastries. Service can be a little slow sometimes, so just be prepared for that!

Staff was horrible. Atmosphere affected by staff. Came here with family and wanted to enjoy coffee, but you can't "enjoy" coffee when you're constantly bothered by wait staff to order something other than coffee. There's two areas of seating. The staff is confused on what they should do to serve or wait on people. Coffee was mid, and the food/pastries were mid. Cleintelle was older, so if you're old this place is great. Otherwise, staff is rude, incompetent, and annoying. One woman in particular took the time to stop waiting her tables and went to our table (which she wasn't waiting on) and said my sister-in-law couldn't bring in food, and she was feeding my nephew. Like, alright, let me take out the food from his belly and throw it in the trash and eat gluten even though she's allergic. Look at my reviews, they're not this long or this bad. Literally worst place/experience in KC. Credit to the male and female baristas up front, very kind folk that served our coffee. Everyone else can take a hike.

Will be returning. Went in to try out the chocolate and coffee. All the pralines I got were absolutely amazing. Looked cute and tasted high quality. Same with the espresso, comparable to what I get in Europe! Will be returning for brunch and more chocolates soon 🤤

When in Kansas City, this is should be on your bucket list for desserts or chocolates. Absolutely fabulous! We have been loyal customers here for years. Our favs are the small patisseries, they change around during the year but they also have their tried, true, and trusted ones all the time. Go to the original store down near the Plaza, that's the best one.

Each year my family and I enjoy a delightful lunch at the cafe to kick off the holiday season. This year I enjoyed the Quiche Lorraine, spinach salad and roasted pepper soup. I also love the carrot salad. We always get the meal then enjoy coffee and dessert after lunch. Service is always superb and food is out of this world!

Wonderful atmosphere, upscale dining feel, and honestly the best water I’ve ever had anywhere. While, I found the items I bought too sweet, the presentation and decor still made for a lovely experience while traveling out of town. My taste may not be the same as others. Picturesque.

In my opinion, the best lunch in Kansas City. I've never had a bad experience here in the nearly 20 years that I've been going to this location. And now that you can choose your entree with the Prix Fix lunch, you have more variety than ever. But take a chance on the special. Even if you don't know the name, it will probably surprise you.

We came in the afternoon for a dessert after having lunch out with friends. The atmosphere is just delightful and whimsical! The staff, so helpful and courteous! Restroom was available and very clean. Parking on the street and was very accessible to enter. Coffee and other treats are available.

A wonderland of beautiful chocolates, desserts, and pastries. Kind staff member introduced me to each one and made excellent recommendations. The bites I had afterward were euphoric! Can't go wrong here. Food smelled amazing, they even had frozen dishes to go for a rainy day. I'll be back to try something hot.
