Dane and Dakota did an amazing job installing my new AC system! They came out on a Saturday in the pouring down rain, having had worked a bunch of overtime already that week, and never once complained. They are both very friendly and helped explain the entire process as it progressed. After dismantling my old unit and showing me the growth in the false ceiling, they had sincere recommendations for a duct cleaning. The end result was beautiful and very professionally done. Dane and Chaz did an excellent job cleaning my duct system! They are both extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and very thorough. Although they were there to clean my ductwork, they made sure to personally take care of my UV installation as well. I was informed throughout the process, and was even shown before and after photos. I highly recommend these guys for anyone needing HVAC work of any kind!

Had our system installed by Family back in 2020 and had such a great experience with Tim and then the install crew that there was no question who we would use for maintenance. Fast forward to April 2022 and it was time to have a system check and some maintenance done. I got an email reminder along with a coupon, called them up and set the appointment. Rick H. called when he was on the way, did a thorough inspection and service while addressing a couple minor issues, and was done in just over an hour. Always a pleasure doing business with these folks.

I have bought this unit about 10 months ago & received my preventive maintenance by Dakota Garner with Family Heating and AC. I was impressed with the job he preformed! Overall I am very happy with my new unit and it’s operating perfectly as expected from a high quality as Bryant. Today reaffirms why I choice quality over cost. As everyone experiences the Florida summer I will be resting easy in my cool home! I let him know the troubles I was having and he was able to diagnose my issues. Ended up correcting the deficiency and making my unit run SMOOTHLY! My installer Chris P. was so professional, meticulous and knowledgeable. Having had my new PREMIER 1  High Efficiency Polarized Media Air Cleaner has been so great! We have had a couple of days when we've had to have the A/C turned off for deliveries. Before Chris P. cleaned my system, lined our intakes and did the new systematic installation, it would have taken forever for my A/C to catch up and it would have run constantly while it did so. Tonight, it was about 45 minutes and it clicked off. He even fixed my vent that had come undone over the years, without any prompting! That was so nice of him! He thoroughly explained all the ins and outs of everything, so I could understand what I needed to do monthly and quarterly. Also, my home has definitely smelled better and I have stopped sniffling. I've only had the system for a week, but it is so fabulous to already see the effects. Been using Family Heating & Air for nearly 10 years. The whole company is great. They stay busy, but that’s because they’re awesome at what they do…. This time, we had great communication from our technician, Thomas Carper. He was fantastic. It was a “not-so-easy” two day job to get our a/c unit running smoothly again. Thomas did a very thorough job. I’m confident that he did the job right. I’d ask for him by name if you want a good a/c tech you can trust.

We have used Family Heating and A/C Both in Alabama and Mississippi And have found all of their people to be professional and courteous, from the dispatcher to the technicians. they all seem competent as well. this is the first time they were dispatched through our home warranty companthony. And as usual, the technicians were very courteous and I was even able to get service the next day. Which is very rare from a home warranty company. They seem to do very thorough work and explain everything completely. I definitely would recommend them. the 2 I just had come out to my condo and Mississippi were excellent.

Very knowledgeable and professional. My home warranty assigned my claim request to them. They got me on their calendar, quickly identified the issue, remedied it and advised me on how to care for my unit. I was so impressed that I signed up for their maintenance plan.

American Home Shield assigned Family Heating and Air to my request for service. I was called promptly for an appointment the next day. Tony and Cody came out and immediately fixed my issue along with answering my questions about the moisture in my air intake closet. They were nice, knowledgeable, and professional. I will be sure to use them for all of my AC needs from now on.

We had an issue with our ac not cooling the house and running constantly. The whole experience with this company was seamless. The lady that I spoke with to schedule our repair was friendly and courteous. The gentleman who came out for the repair was very professional and great at explaining what was wrong with our unit. The repair went quickly, no waiting for parts or anything. He even gave us tips on future maintenance and upkeep. 100% recommend.

Had to make a call on a Saturday. They returned my call in less than a half hour. They were at my house in about an hour. Replaced a capacitor and was done in about 10 minutes. Very knowledgeable and courteous. Would definitely call them again. Signed up for the service plan, too.

We had a brand new AC unit installed from another company a year ago. Family heating and air has been a lifesaver for correcting issues that others overlooked to include a gas leak. Each technician has been professionally and informative with each visit. They exceeded expectations and we are genuinely grateful to deal with an honest company who cares for their customers.

I think my service rep’s name was Brody. I don’t see it on my receipt. He was very nice and quick at assessing the issue. ANTS. This was crazy expensive. The $200 part was broken in the process. Accidents happen and the gentlemen said it was ok and wouldn’t keep anything from working. My receipt stated I could have saved money …./but nothing was mentioned on HOW? Hated I had to wait over 24 hours to get any service. I was sent to your amazing company through American Home Shield to get started a year and half ago. I really may need a recommendation for a local company. It was 79 degrees for a day and evening and 90 + degrees outside. It would have been nice to have some care given or at least concern mentioned. My system is amazing. I appreciate your expertise. Thank you

The lady that answered the phone, Tiffany, was very nice and understanding as I explained our AC need. She had a gentleman lined up to come out the next morning. He was the nicest person we had had to come look at our AC. He listened, he understood our situation, was not "pushy", he was very knowledgeable and located the problem. He offered temporary help until the AC tech person could come the next day to change out the parts, but before he left, he had us with air! I would highly recommend Mr. Tim Nations as a contact, and when the time comes to purchase a new unit, we will return for their service. An exceptional, reliable personnel and company. We are very pleased!

Mr. brown did a great job! I asked him if I could watch and he didn’t mind at all. He told me what he was doing at all times and made it look really easy. He cleaned out my dryer vents. It wasn’t as bad as I thought but it was still filthy. He got a good amount out and didn’t even hesitate to keep checking to make sure it was completely cleaned. He was very polite and knowledgeable! Would recommend him!

I have had several excellent experiences with Family Heating and Air. I just had them out to replace and upgrade my old furnace and AC and I couldn't be happier. I had the pleasure of getting a/c service from Kirk. He arrived within an hour of placing the call and was very professional, knowledgeable, and he helped me understand the challenges I was experiencing with my a/c. In addition, he advised me of the maintenance inspection the company provides and didn't seem forceful with trying to get me to purchase the program. I took his advice and received the inspection and he was very thorough while navigating through my system. The bad: my system needing major, extremely expensive repairs/ part replacement when the entire system was just replaced a couple years ago and still isn't paid off (and won't be for a couple more years). The good: office and scheduling staff are very friendly and accommodating when I call. Repairmen knowledgeable and very thorough with explanations, and also when performing repairs and ensuring that everything is in working order when complete. System working great after repairs done. Very happy with company itself, employees, and service provided.

Scheduled for Friday, called me and had opening earlier than my appointment and was at my house within 15 minutes. Tech was awesome, dug into a repair that had been done by another company and found issue. Waited around to make sure repair was complete. Completely awesome experience, I have been dealing with 4 other companies and have had no air for 34 days and after getting air had flooding for 15. I highly recommend this company and this technician.

Fantastic service! Called on a Sunday when the AC stopped and temp in the house went up to 79 overnight. Very friendly when I called, had someone available to come out and service within an hr.
