This park is great! Great for fishing or a family outing near the water. The road is a narrow two lane in and out. Parking is ample, and for a family with five kids the walk to the beach is not bad. The sand does have alot of spiders so make sure you shake your stuff out before you get back in the car to go home.

We have very nice lake; but we can improve our lake by adding some services; like restaurant, theater, playground, camping area, bars and some artworks… it’s not very difficult

The best kept secret in Stafford. Beach feels without the traffic and drive. You will need to get used to seawee and occasional wildlife, but the view, the breeze and flying eagles and herons make all the uncomfortable bits worth it. And there is a ground entrance restroom as a bonus! Grills and pavilions are present. You will find Plenty of fishing spots. And with multiple coves, you will find the perfect spot for your family to camp our for the day or just an hour. The zero entry water allows for easy kayak/paddle board launch. There is no motor boat launch here.

Found this current experience just as rewarding, as my two previous experiences. Quiet reflection along the water, observing the nature, birding, and scenic views. Location has restrooms, picnic areas, and historical markers.

Good place to hang out down by the water. The younger kids enjoy playing in the sand and going in the water to cool off (although I don't allow mine to go under this water in case of bacteria). It's better to get to Aquia Landing earlier in the day if you can. It can get crowded quickly on a nice day and parking isn't the greatest.

The park and nearby Crow's Nest Water Trail are great for hiking, canoeing and kayaking. The landing area has picnic tables and a small grassy area. There is a small sandy area great for sitting and watching the wildlife. This is not a swimming area.

I absolutely love this park. Usually next to nobody there in the morning which I enjoy. Swam last year, haven’t gotten in this year since I saw a snake at the shore lol but a lovely park none the less

It was 35 minutes from our starting point which is way better than going to the Atlantic Ocean. For what it was worth on a Friday in the late summer, we had the place to ourselves it seemed. The beach is broken up into sections which gives a sense of privacy. The sand is smooth and it was fairly clean. I had fun. They do have bathrooms available.

This is a cute park if you want to lay on the beach and take in a beautiful view. There were a lot of people fishing here when I went, so I imagine they must catch a lot of fish. There is a covered area with picnic tables and there are also restrooms. The road coming into the park is narrow, but other than that it is a great park!

Amazing little local Paradise! Family and Pet friendly! Has a bathroom, Gazebos and grills. You can also bring your own grill and tents onto the sand. Has fishing areas and just a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere with amazing view.

I remember a few years back how nice it was to go there and it still is when I recently took my children! The water was good but a bit of trash as in every few steps I took! That was very disappointing because there are trash cans everywhere on the beach so throw your trash away!!!

Very small. Debris on the “beach.” Rules on the sign state no swimming unless a lifeguard is present. Another sign says no life guard on duty. People swimming anyways. Dogs must be on leash.

Really great place to relax and spend time. Just wish there wasn't so much trash everywhere!

Such a beautiful and peaceful little place to get out with family. It has a pretty lake and a mini beach area. There are also sheds for picnic and flat area which can be used as a playground.

Clean area and decent sized parking lot. Beach was enjoyable and the little coves made it safe for kids too.

The day we visited this place it was cloudy and later a tornado hit this place. It gave us somewhat out of the world feeling.

Pretty park with wonderful views of the Potomac. It’s not a very large park, so don’t expect to hike miles of trails or explore beaches.

Decent park, has a beach and multiple pavilions. However I wish they had more stuff like a playground and maybe even a dog park. Also be careful in the water, there's snakes.

Great spot to chill, grill, swim, bring your kayak or paddle boards or non motor boat. Good fishing, great views, cool vibes for everyone to hang out

Small beach. No washing area. Very quaint and small beach area. if you have it to yourself, it's really lovely. Shallow waters which are perfect for kids. Grass area with picnic tables. Portapoty on site.

This spot is beautiful me and my pplz came here to cook out it is free to get in. There's not that many picnic tables so first come first serve and the grills besides just 1 grill like most parks have there's 3 grills connected to make cooking time faster. lovely place for peace and fun but bring your bug spray you going to need it
