The trail is about a mile most of it is walking up built in steps. The view is worth the journey.

Very nice short and easy trail! Mostly stairs up the trail but the tower is worth it.

Un-be-leef-able views! My favorite place in the UV to watch fall colors from! The hike itself is not strenuous, and the views are more than worth the efforts! The fire tower lets you gain elevation real fast, and then there's this magnificence you can behold!

An out and back style trail. One path for hikes is very well maintained with areas of stone steps to help with the hills, and another path for bikes with switch backs to make your way up. The fire tower at the top was sturdy and if it wasn't for the fog probably would've been a nice view too but was still a good time

Very busy today due to groups, but good hike. Trail to firetower (fairly short distance) consists of mostly stone steps. Tower not for the faint-hearted, can be windy, but view is worth it. There is a cabin-like structure along the way that has been used by students. Trail continues on past tower, haven't done that yet.

We came in the late fall. It's a short EASY hike up a hill with some stairs along the way. The firetower at the end was sturdy and windy (bring an insulator as a jacket). And the pictures! 😍 Absolutely incredible. It was a long drive that was so worth the effort

Great short hike with a view from the fire tower. The trail has had a ton of trail work done to it with a lot of nice rock steps.

Nice short easy hike. Well maintained trail. Stairs most of the way instead of a more natural trail. Abandoned cabin near the top. Summit is not high and not above the trees, but there is a fire tower you can climb up to get some great views.
