If you’re in the area, (in our opinion) this is a must stop! This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve seen. We’re not Catholic, but we definitely appreciated the beauty of this historic place. Right as we got here it began to rain lightly and the few people that were there ended up leaving. We spent awhile wandering around, just taking it all in. The beauty of seeing it in the rain, is that all of the stones change to bright and magnificent colors when wet. They hold seaside services at 8am and stone chapel services at 10am on Sundays, where everyone is welcome. The stained glass windows are absolutely stunning and the craftsmanship of the stonework is amazing. Pictures do not do this place justice.

We took a drive along the ocean and came upon St. Ann’s. It was a bit foggy this day but that didn’t stop us from taking in the sites of the church ⛪️ and their beautiful property. Very peaceful and extremely well kept outside and inside. The bold red door is so inviting. Upon entry, just the aisle view itself is simply gorgeous. Lovely stonework and vivid stained glass windows throughout. A definite must see in your drive through this quaint little port town.

A stunning church located on a beautiful piece of property overlooking the ocean. No visit to Kennebunkport would be complete without a visit to St. Ann’s. The church is stone on the exterior and gorgeous stone and wood inside. Don’t forget to walk up the stairs to get a view from the balcony. Outside the grounds are on a peninsula surrounded by the rocky coastline. This is a great place to sit and reflect on the beauty of nature. There is an outdoor altar with seating with a view of the sea in the background. I believe the church is only open in the Summer months.

Nice church established in the late nineteen century. It’s particularly interesting as constructed of irregular big rocks. The interior is modest but it’s easy to have an admiration for it. The stained glass works inside the church are really nice.

When Passing by Kennebunkport Maine it's nice to stop by this place and have a short reflection or prayer. Been here 2x this year 1st was in summer and the 2nd was in fall. Both season was nice. Although during summer the town tends to be busy with tourists which is the total opposite during fall. The town is more quiet and less tourist however much of the shops are almost are closed for the season in fall. But st. Ann's chapel is a must visit when dropping by Kennebunkport.

Beautiful stone chapel overlooking the ocean in Kennebunkport, ME. A must see in my opinion. Don’t forget to check out the small garden in the rear which features a stone bench dedicated by the Bush children to the memory of their parents.

This was truly a horrible experience. Three women traveling in unknown areas. We arrived on Sunday, after landing in Boston on Saturday. We started our journey and wanted to see this beautiful “ house of God”. We arrived at 8 am on Sunday only to find that they would prefer not to have visitors during church hours or maybe all day on Sunday? We understood immediately and were happy to move on and miss this stop on our trip, knowing that we would not be able to return. However, not knowing really where we were or which direction we should take, we pulled in to the entrance just to turn around. And Wow!!! We were truly met by the devil himself right there at church! We were attacked!!! Literally, by a horrible man who was supposed to be helping park cars. He was rude and out right vicious and unkind… like the devil himself! We explained that we only needed to turn around and reminded him that God loves him but we left knowing that this is the house of the devil and we wanted nothing more to do with it! We will donate elsewhere! Kindness matters and shame on this gentleman! He should look up the word in his dictionary!

Stopped by this chapel on a quiet Sunday morning in early October. The doors were open and we were able to look around. It's located in a very beautiful spot right on the ocean. Took maybe 10-15 minutes to just relax and enjoy the view.

Absolutely beautiful!! Very well restored on every level. Peaceful grounds and in an amazing spot on the Ocean. Those on the grounds were very helpful in understanding history and use of buildings currently.

A place of peace, natural beauty & "keeping the faith". I love that it's open to the public and I can enjoy the beautiful grounds and view when I visit in the summer. I had the privilege to meet Pres. Bush here at worship one summer Sunday. What a gift you are to your community and all. Thank you !

A beautiful, old and well kept Place of God made of local sea-water washed stones from the property. Those of us with this type of inclination should enter and worship for awhile. We said a prayer for our parents and others who have passed along lighting a candle for them before we went on our way. Construction began on August 22, 1887 and consecrated on August 24, 1892. We were fortunate to have found this place on such a beautiful day a couple October's ago as we vacationed throughout New England. Parking is limited, can get busy during tourist season, pet lease laws in effect, pick nicking allowed. Disability friendly. President George H.W. Bush's mother Dorothy was instrumental in refurbishing and remodeling the Church.
