First,
I
should
preface
this
with
I
had
reservations
at
their
sister
store
for
my
wife's
birthday.
About
30
minutes
before
our
reservation
I
receive
an
email
that
our
reservation
had
been
canceled.
I
called
and
they
stated
they
had
to
close
the
restaurant
due
to
a
flooding
issue.
They
said
our
sister
store
Capital
Grille
can
get
us
in
instead.
With
no
other
last
minute
options
for
a
nice
restaurant
during
peak
hours,
I
begrudgingly
called
Capital
Grille
to
confirm
we
can
get
a
table
at
our
original
reservation
time
in
which
they
obliged.
Now,
we've
been
to
this
location
many
times.
Service
was
great
as
usual.
The
food
although,
was
very
subpar.
It's
sad
when
the
best
plate
we
ordered
was
the
Roasted
Beet
and
Goat
Cheese
salad.
The
other
dishes
were
quite
a
disappointment.
I
ordered
the
off-menu
Wagyu
strip
which
was
supplied
by
Snake
River
Farms.
I
asked
for
medium
but
only
part
of
it
was
actually
medium.
The
rest
was
medium
rare
to
rare.
To
be
honest,
the
steak
was
quite
bland
and
not
juicy
at
all.
I
even
have
doubt
that
the
steak
wasn't
just
a
regular
NY
Strip
instead
of
an
actual
wagyu
strip
I
ordered.
I
understand
it's
not
going
to
have
a
Japanese
A5
wagyu
fat
quality
to
it,
but
I've
had
way
cheaper
steaks
taste
much
better
than
the
$100+
I
paid
for
this
one.
I'm
not
sure
if
they
were
inundated
with
a
flood
or
reservations
changing
over
to
the
restaurant
that
night
due
to
their
sister
store
closing,
but
the
food
quality
was
very
disappointing.
