We had a great time gathering for birthday celebration. It was in the weekday night and we were arranged in a party room. The food is delicious as always with professional services and hospitality. Five thumbs up

Excellent serve and food! This is fine dining. Reservations are necessary if eating in the main dining area. But there's seating in the bar/lounge. We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't crowded in the bar/lounge area. We chose a booth for a part of 3. Very quiet ambience. It didn't take long after we ordered to get our food. I had Salmon on a bed of French green beans, it was delicious 😋

I treated myself with a steak and salad to go for my birthday and they didn't even provide a napkin or a little piece of bread as requested. The salad was something I could've made for $2. So I literally paid $70 just for the steak. I would just rather dine in, they put more effort on that because of the tips. They should also be more organized when it comes to picking up orders.

Always a great experience to dine here! Taste and plating meets and excels all expectations. The staff cannot be complimented enough. With plenty of appetizers, main dishes with a few sides, a dessert, and a bottle of wine for a party of two = approximately $400 including tip.

The gentleman working the host desk wasn't all that welcoming but our waiter was. Nice atmosphere and food was on point. This restaurant was nice and intimate for my birthday dinner.

Excellent service and ambience. Lobster Mac n cheese, tenderloin with lobstertail, shrimp cocktail. All superbly presented and flavorful . The bread basket was scrumptious. Never disappoints. Late afternoon special occasion brought quick valet and an excellent searing location. Well done.

OMG! Is the only way to put it. This experience, the food, better yet the cuisine, the service, was another level of an exquisite experience. It made me realize that all the times I have given other restaurants five stars that I was just being kind and respectful. This establishment deserves 10 Stars. I don't say this lightly but it is the best dining and total meal experience my wife, daughter and grandchildren, and especially myself have ever had. It knocked my other two favorite restaurants Carrabba's and Pappadeaux's into the dirt. They are definitely great but they are chain franchises and the Capital Grille are unique Adventures. The menu is extraordinary and offers so many mouth watering choices it is hard to pick one. Starting with the wedge salad, the appetizer of calamari was the best ever and we have tried dozens of places before. I tried the Tenderloins with lobsters on top, my wife had the sliced filet with mushrooms. There were eight of us and everybody loved their choice of meal. Let's talk about the side dishes- world class garlic mashed potatoes, lobster mac and cheese, truffle fries unlike anything you've ever tasted. We also tried the seared brussel sprouts and we look forward to coming again and trying out the spinach and asparagus dishes. This has realigned our values and goals in fine dining and family celebrations. We can't wait to visit the Crescent location. One last thing, most of the entrees were around 50 to $60 a plate and then you paid for everything separately. This is one of the few places that I would say that it earned every bit of its value. I have spent much more at Ruth's Chris restaurants and not had half the enjoyment as I did here. How are there so much to say about this place I forgot to mention the drinks were amazing. Service unlike anywhere. I give this place the highest rating I have ever given anywhere.

We went to celebrate my birthday and honestly we had a great time. Our server was excellent and took care of all our needs. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because the sides (although the looked wonderful) were undercooked both Brussels spouts and the Au Gratin potatoes. Also they mixed up the meat temperatures on 2 dishes. Even with these issues the meal was scrumptious 😋

I had a great visit here. The service was amazing. I attended my brothers private dinner for his wedding it couldn’t be a better choice. Eric was apart of the party that assisted the private room dinner. He was a very attentive to our needs went over everything with us and made sure we had a enjoyable night.

Capital Grill is known for its consistency. My wife and I enjoyed the bone in veal chop and the filet mignon. We shared a Caesar salad and enjoyed the assortment of fresh bread. The cocktails were perfectly poured and service in the bar area was superb. The restaurant was very busy on the Friday night but the restaurant is well staffed.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Capital Grille, thanks to our waiter Sean. His top-notch service and attention to detail truly elevated the meal. The combination of his warm demeanor and extensive menu knowledge made the evening memorable. The food was outstanding, and Sean's professionalism added a delightful touch to the overall enjoyment of our visit. I highly commend Sean for his excellent service at Capital Grille.

First, I should preface this with I had reservations at their sister store for my wife's birthday. About 30 minutes before our reservation I receive an email that our reservation had been canceled. I called and they stated they had to close the restaurant due to a flooding issue. They said our sister store Capital Grille can get us in instead. With no other last minute options for a nice restaurant during peak hours, I begrudgingly called Capital Grille to confirm we can get a table at our original reservation time in which they obliged. Now, we've been to this location many times. Service was great as usual. The food although, was very subpar. It's sad when the best plate we ordered was the Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese salad. The other dishes were quite a disappointment. I ordered the off-menu Wagyu strip which was supplied by Snake River Farms. I asked for medium but only part of it was actually medium. The rest was medium rare to rare. To be honest, the steak was quite bland and not juicy at all. I even have doubt that the steak wasn't just a regular NY Strip instead of an actual wagyu strip I ordered. I understand it's not going to have a Japanese A5 wagyu fat quality to it, but I've had way cheaper steaks taste much better than the $100+ I paid for this one. I'm not sure if they were inundated with a flood or reservations changing over to the restaurant that night due to their sister store closing, but the food quality was very disappointing.

The food was simply amazing, the atmosphere is top notch and the service is second to none… This was our first time dining at Capital Grille. Our server (Robert P.) was amazing and exceeded our expectations by far. Thank you again Robert for the hospitality.

I went with family and from start to finish the experience was top notch. Our host, John took great care of us and since it was our first time eating at this restaurant, we got a nice little appetizer/gift from the kitchen which was a house made potato chip, with some smoked salmon, house made tartar sauce, and capers. I'm not a huge salmon person, but that was very good. The French onion soup we ordered was excellent as well. Two of us ordered the dry aged New York strip with the gorgonzola crusted cheese and Cabernet reduction and it was safe to say that it was the best steak either of us have ever had. I've never had a New York steak that was as tender and flavorful as this one, plus the Cabernet reduction was a perfect pairing to with it. Ari, the manager checked in on us and made sure everything was perfect, and it was a fantastic experience overall. We'll definitely be back!

Best filet mignon I've had in 20+ years. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. We had Calamari and Lobster Bisque to start, Potatoes Au Gratin & Asparagus for the sides, and Cheesecake & Coconut Cream Pie for dessert. Everything was top notch and the filet melted in my mouth. Our waiter, Brian, was extraordinary. Worth every penny.

The food and service were amazing! The dining room is dimly lit and perfect for a special occasion. The bar area has high-top tables, which still provide a nice atmosphere. Always ask about off menu items or specials. I had the Red Snapper with lobster risotto, and it was delicious 😋

Had one of the best experiences I have ever had at a restaurant in Plano. The staff was so friendly and personable. The drinks were solid. We had 4 appetizers. They were all fantastic. I ordered the ribeye with the mushroom sauce. The cut was great. The sauce was a bit too sweet for me. The best part of the whole evening was our waiter Pam. She was so knowledgeable and helpful and we loved every moment. We will definitely be coming back.

Came here while visiting Dallas/Frisco to see some friends. They recommended Capital Grille as their favorite steakhouse. We ordered the lobster bisque, ribeye, brussel sprouts, truffle fries, bruschetta, and chicken. The steak was perfectly cooked but all the sides were perfect. Easily the best steakhouse I have ever been to.

This is one of the few restaurants that has consistently amazing food and the best service. I know that everything is going to be great when I go there. I celebrated my birthday dinner with my close friends and they knocked it out of the park as always. Marco was our waiter and his kindness and great energy were very much appreciated. Thanks for making my birthday dinner terrific as always.

Was part of a big group, like 20 diners in my party. 3 or 4 servers took care of us. Had the plateau, which was a seafood sampler. Delicious. Lobster shrimp and oysters on the half shell. Lobster Mac was fantastic. Calamari was also good. Crab cakes were outstanding as well. The truffle fries were on point as well. Entrée was a bone in porchini rubbed steak. Actually, was a bit too blue for me. I asked for somewhere between rare and medium. Mine was very rare. Too rare really. Many diners got the steak au poive and they raved about how yummy the courvosier sauce was. Service was slow but our group was huge so I get that. Dark lighting. Packed house. Valet service. Overall, it was a lovely meal.

Hands down some of the best food I've ever had. ❤️ One of my best friends came in town for her birthday and we went to The Capital Grille for dinner. It is located in the Shops of Legacy at the corner of Legacy and the Dallas North Tollway. The decor was dark and sophisticated, high end luxurious. It was beautiful. I love the art work throughout. For appetizers we ordered the steak tartare and the prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella and a wedge salad. Delicious. We each ordered the filet, I had mine butterflied since I like my more on the well side. We had a skewer of shrimp that was perfectly cooked. For sides we had the cauliflower, cream spinach and grilled asparagus. I'm typically not a fan of cauliflower but my friend suggested I give it a try and I'm so glad I did because it was creamy deliciousness. Cheesy and perfectly cooked. The creamed spinach was very tasty, with a hint of nutmeg, not slimy, the spinach was still a little crisp. Grilled asparagus was crisp and delish. They brought a lovely assortment of desserts for my friend's birthday and decorated the table with confetti. The server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the Capital Grille!!! Hands down some of the best steak I've had in Dallas to date. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the very best restaurants in the mertroplex. The steaks can be cut with a fork, the lobster is amazing. All table veggies are very good. This is a wonderful place for a celebration or just dinner with your special person. Service is first class. Pricey but worth it.

This steakhouse is amazing in every category, but is a letdown in the main course, the steak. Our server, Jin, was amazing. He was very thorough with the food descriptions and very nice. The lobster/crab appetizer was amazing. Mashed potatoes were also excellent. Great selection of wines as well. They also gave us a free dessert. The disappointment were the steaks. My filet mignon tasted very chewy and dry. My wife's ribeye was also dry and lacked any real fat marbling. I feel like their cuts of meat were inferior to other steakhouses like 3 Forks or Bob's.
