It was a difficult time for our family to lose both our parents 17 days apart. Nancy, our funeral director, did a fantastic job with coordinating a beautiful ceremony for our family, relatives, and friends. Nancy was a consummate professional from beginning to the end. She treated us with respect, compassion, and kindness. She was always answering our questions and always there for us. For instance, I had a question around midnight that I sent to Nancy since stayed awake wondering about the answer. To my delightful surprise, she answered me immediately after midnight and I settled to sleep without any worries. She was there for us every step of the way especially when we had challenges with finding a church, working out the delivery of the flowers, and making sure we had a sign-in guestbook available. We are forever grateful to Nancy for delivering a beautiful ceremony. We also want to thank Destiny for creating a beautiful prayer card and a nice touch with putting together the tributes to my parents on line. Thank you Steve for your kindness and support. David, thank you for sharing your expertise regarding options for choosing the headstones. David, you were certainly instrumental in making me think about preparing for my own funeral in the future. We are so blessed our parents bought their cemetery plots early on and for choosing Conejo Mountain Funeral to provide a beautiful resting place.

We want to thank the staff at Conejo Mountain for putting together and caring out our last wishes. It was a beautiful farewell for our beloved father. Each of you brought something special to make honor of his life, especially the honor guards, flag presentation and taps ceremony, he would’ve been very honored and pleased, as we were. This has been the most difficult time in my life to lose my beloved husband. Conejo Mountain Memorial was such a wonderful experience during this timeframe to plan, organize and hold my husband’s service. Erin Arteaga and Steve were truly helpful when I needed them the most. Since my husband and I had done a Pre Planning Service through Mr. Javier Gomez it simplified my ability to proceed with the services just the way we planned. Mr. Joe Ortiz made it so calming for me throughout the services. My family and I were very satisfied with the services held at Conejo Memorial, it was beautifully done exactly the way we wanted. It was 11:45pm when paramedics pronounced my father dead in our home. I was surprised when they left and told us to call someone to pick him up. Not having any idea we called Conjeo Mountain at midnight. From the moment I called them everything they did was perfect. The people who came to get him were so curtious and respectful, Steve the funeral director was just amazing! Helping us plan our needs and say our goodbyes. I never been there after living in Camarillo for 25 years but what an amazing beautiful place. My family and I are truly thankful this place.

Erin Arteaga was absolutely wonderful! She guided us, with requests from various family members. She listened to our concerns and requests and made them come to fruition. Her recommendations created a True Vision of our Mothers Tribute of Life. David was a sincere gentleman, it was especially an Honor for Steven Mora to secure our complete accommodations. My family and I are grateful for the superb service we received from Conejo Mountain personnel. My late wife and I made our pre-need arrangements in 2017. When my wife passed in November 2022, all the arrangements were handled very smoothly. We lost our beloved mother earlier this month. She was a wife, mother grandmother and friend to all. She meant so much to each and everyone in our family, as well as to many friends, former co workers and acquittances outside of our family. My dad and I went to make arrangements for mom and have the honor of speaking with Mr. Steven Mora. What a caring and delightful person he was as well as Destiny. Steve took his time with us, was very compassionate and let us know that he would take good care of mom. Steve also went above and beyond and personally delivered moms Urn and ashes to us. The Conejo Mountain Funeral Home is nestled back in a place where very few people know about. A peaceful quite resting place surround by hills and beauty. The staff are all very compassionate and loving people. I have had the pleasure of working with Steve and so many of his staff members and they are all wonderful people always have the time to take care of all your wants and needs.I have several family members and friends laid to rest here and I can't think of a more beautiful place for my final resting place.

We have worked with Conejo Mountain twice now, and I am so grateful that my loved ones are interred in such a beautiful place. From our first phone call going over details and costs, to the phone call requesting their response to our home. We received the absolute best in care and comfort. Both Sarah & Brandon responded to our home, and both were kind & considerate to our family and our loved one. They were both dressed professionally and conveyed a sense of compassion and empathy while going about their role in transferring our loved one into their care. Steve assisted our family with paperwork and details regarding the cremation, as we requested a rush and witnessed cremation. Everything was impeccably handled with care and the highest regard for our family. Every step of the way, we had a sense of relief, knowing that Steve Mora & his staff were right there taking care of our requests and following through with details. On the day of services, we were greeted in the doorway by staff. The environment was peaceful & serene, the décor was tasteful, and the facilities were immaculate. Everyone was dressed appropriately and sincere in their greeting. We wholeheartedly felt comfortable in the most difficult of situations, as losing a loved one is never easy. We were all tired and grieving and everyone we encountered seemed to know what to do, to assist our family.
