We rented some equipment for our backyard wedding from Prior Lake Savage Rental. The delivery crew was so friendly, speedy, and helpful. All of the equipment was clean and exactly what we ordered. My only quarrels with the Rental Center is related to my phone call experiences. There was one employee answering my calls that was curt and rude with me in answering my questions. He never acted like I was a paying customer but more of an annoying person taking up his time. I was never told the delivery charge in any of my calls (which the price did take me by surprise), or any other details. I asked when delivery would be and was told 9am or so. We called them day of after 10:30am and it sounded as if they were waiting for us to call and say we're ready for the delivery. It wasn't a huge issue but odd considering when delivery was scheduled for. I would still recommend this Rental Center but I am not impressed with that particular employee. I considered going somewhere else to rent after those phone calls - not good customer service for a business.

Matt is very rude to deal with I have rented here before and thought maybe the guy is having a bad day so gave it another shot and I guess this is just how this guy treats people. I walked in to rent a loader and I am not very well versed in the equipment he was not only totally unhelpful but made it seem like he was irritated I was even there I know he has a monopoly in prior lake but I would make the 8 min drive to go to Shakopee rental the customer service there is definitely worth the trip to not have to deal with a guy like that

I was very disappointed and shocked with the customer service I was given. I would not recommend you rent any party equipment or tents from this place or anything at all. I planned my daughters first birthday and called to rent my items ahead of time to make sure they would be available on the date I needed them. When we were setting up for the party come to find out my tent was missing 3 walls. I had requested 4 due to it being very windy. When I called them they were closed and had 3 different numbers to leave a voicemail. I was unable to reach any of those numbers or leave a voicemail due to full voicemail boxes which makes it seem like no one checks their voicemails. I was unable to use my patio heater inside of the tent to maintain my party of 40 warm since I was missing 3 walls there was no point on a 25-degree weather day. I was unable to hang any of my decorations because they kept flying away. Long story short I had to move the party inside unable to use more than half of decorations and table clothes I bought for our party outside. We also rented a bouncy house come to find out they only include 2 stakes to hold it down on a supper windy day no one felt comfortable using the bouncy house or putting their kids at risk. I was very disappointed it was my daughters first birthday and I had waisted all this time and effort for nothing. When I called the next day. I let them know about what had happened and they were very short and rude and said they would refund me for the walls they forgot to include they never checked their inventory or tried to apologize. The guy I spoke with seemed like he knew they forgot out walls. When I got there. I asked to speak with a manger the guy at the front desk said he was the manger his name was Paul. I began to explain to him what had happened, and he said he would only refund me for the items they forgot. I was very frustrated with the situation because Paul was very short and kept cutting me off and made it seem like it was my fault for not calling during store hours or checking everything. I am very disappointed that I put my trust in this place I had handed the guy the sheet with all the items I had rented when I went to pick them up. I think it's pretty easy making sure someone gets the items they rented when it's all on a piece of paper. It is very obvious this place is very unorganized, and the staff. Especial Paul had no compassion whatsoever and poor customer service skills. The picture I include is of Paul and you can clearly see his expression. NOT at any point was I Rude or yelling at Paul for him to treat me the way he did. I had to dispute the amount I had paid with my bank for rendering of service after 2 months of an investigation my bank decided to refund me the amount because they agreed I wasn't provided the service I asked for.

Don’t trust Matt! He will mislead you. Pricing is decent compared to competitors normally , but he will double charge you. Great equipment, just verify and double check your paperwork if he writes it up.

These guys are amazing! Excellent selection of what I needed for our graduation party. They loaded and unloaded from my vehicle in minutes. I came back to get a fan and they jumped right on it. Went in looking for something to help break up concrete in basement for plumbing project. And the gentlemen were very helpful and kind. Recommended me a hammer drill/chizzle and it worked absolutely wonderful and made my job super easy. Definitely recommend to anyone needing to rent tools for DIY projects.

I rented a plumbing tool from Prior Lake Savage Rental Center got home and realized I was one connectors short making the tool rental useless. Upon return of the tool, I was asked how the project went. I told them I wasn't able to use the tool because one of my fittings didn't work out as expected and I needed to order a new fitting for my project. The person working there told me not to worry about the cost of the rental if I didn't use the tool. I was not expecting this. I possessed the tool during the rental time period and I was willing to pay but he insisted. I am sure this is not their standard policy but I really appreciate the gesture. It goes to show these people who care about their clients! I have always had a great experience with them but now they have a lifelong customer!

I've had the opportunity to utilize the services of Prior Lake/Savage Rental Center on several occasions for various projects, and each time I've been met with professionalism, efficiency, and quality equipment. From renting screw jacks to a tracked Kubota 1000 for digging 35 holes, my experiences have been largely positive. While the screw jacks were different from each other, it wasn't a significant issue. However, I did find that the handles being only 5 inches long required a bit of improvisation with a pipe to gain proper leverage. Perhaps, longer handles would be a minor improvement to consider. The real highlight was the Kubota machine, which performed flawlessly. The staff took the time to guide me through its operation, showing me details that might not be common knowledge, ensuring a smooth experience. I must also commend the team for their quick and organized service. The equipment was usually ready and loaded as soon as I pulled around back, which helped save valuable time. A great rental as always. This time it was a 20x20 tent. All the kit was there, canvas was clean,instructions were clear. Two of us put it up in 45 minutes. Four of us knocked it down in 20. I love walking in, they have a huge variety of tools for any project or event.

Wow! Most courteous service I've received in a long time. They treated me respectfully even though I had never used a gas-powered, post hole digger before by showing me how to use it without talking down to me. After leaving, I actually wanted to rent more equipment just so I could go back! No joke!

Beware of extra charges even to the minute should you choose to bring their equipment back minutes late but they don't tell you that when you rent it they just say bring it back full before close the next day. Unprofessional, defensive and rude staff . Something as simple as getting a phone number assigned in an account seems out of their capability. Renters beware!.

I rented a wheelchair from them for a day event. I called ahead to confirm they had it and they were very friendly and explained how easy the rental process would be. When we got there, they were super fast in taking our information and took the wheelchair out to my car and loaded it in for me. No effort on my part! When I got back to drop it off, I pulled up and they were already walking out the door to meet me and unloaded it from my car for me then too! Great service! Check out was quick and easy. They have a huge selection of tools, stuff for parties, and other items too! I will absolutely be using them again! Completely satisfied!

Where do we even start with this disgrace of a company. not only will their employees give you attitude when you show up to rent a cement mixer, they give us not one broken machine, gave us TWO BROKEN MACHINES IN A ROW, this company obviously does not do any sort of due diligence when looking into the quality and working order of their machinery before sending them out with the customer and the attitude of the workers is completely uncalled for. The first mixer we received was completely unresponsive and the second one they gave us would only run in reverse but not foreword. Not to mention the dirty unsafe conditions that these machines were in. Frankly this company is begging for a lawsuit with how they run things and anyone with a brain should steer clear because they are an absolute joke.

There is a sign on the door that says “Masks required inside”, no employees inside were wearing a mask. There were 3 employees in the store, one was on the phone and the other two said nothing to me. I looked around the rental place and eventually found the item I needed, and sat down at the desk on an empty stool that was there. Eventually the guy on the phone ended his phone call with a customer and still didn’t say hello, instead he just expected I knew he was speaking to me when he said loudly, “Phone number”. Probably the worst costumer service I’ve personally experienced in years.

My company has rented linens from Prior Lake Savage Rental center several times over the last year for our clients events. This past weekend was the 1st time in 2019 we rented from them and we were SHOCKED by the bill this time around as it was almost twice what it was last year. After looking up their prices (which I did not do before hand this year as last years prices were fair and in line) I spent time looking up and calling other rental companies and found that Prior Lake Savage Rental is charging $3 - $5 more per linen then any and I mean any (Crown rental, G & K Events, Festivities, even the fancy linen and decor companies) other company in the twin cities. As for service, I worked mostly with Paul last year and found him to be helpful and pleasent to work with. This time around I worked with the owner and I found him to be less then friendly and it was clear my concern about the raise in prices, the lack of notification fell on deaf ears and he was not concerned about keeping a customer.

They Provided me with a lousy working piece of equipment , the mechanic came out to fix it and witness it running like junk . When I asked the manger for my money back he said no . I told him even his own employee said the equipment was “junk” he raised his voice at me and became very confrontational . They are extremely unprofessional and would not recommend going there if you don’t want to be verbally assaulted because you where un satisfied with the equipment
