Friendly atmosphere. The instructors are talented and great motivators. They craft an individualized dancing plan with the student to meet one's specific goals, and chart one's progression. There are also social events which students can participate. Highly recommend this studio for anyone wishing to learn to dance or perfect one's dancing skills.

My (now) husband and I started taking lessons with Vadim a few months ago to help us with our first dance choreography for our wedding, and overall dancing skills. We have enjoyed EVERY second of our lessons! We would look so forward to these weekly sessions since they really helped us improve, become more confident, have a bunch of fun/laughs, and just generally allow us to escape from our daily work/life stressors and let loose! Owner and staff are friendly and fun. Our instructor Victoria was very good at communicating the dance moves and helping us make the minor corrections to feel more confident dancing. Everbody was always ready to help. For first time dance instruction it was a great choice to go to Fred Astaire in Mystic.

My husband and I are taking private lessons for our first dance for our wedding. The staff is amazing, super friendly and they let us bring our 2 year old when we don't have childcare. Absolutely love it there and would recommend to everyone before their wedding and it makes for a super fun date night!!

I recently started dancing with Fred Astaire dance studio in Mystic about six weeks ago and I highly recommend it. I have been ballroom dancing for about 5 years, and this is by far my favorite studio. The instructors are extremely talented and hands on with their teaching approach. Whether you're a first time dancer or someone that's been dancing for years, you're going to have a great time. All of the students and instructors are very warm and welcoming, it is definitely worth a visit to try some lessons!

Outstanding experience at Fred Astaire Mystic. Maya and Vadim choreographed a wonderful Mother Daughter dance and the first dance for the bridal couple for my daughters upcoming wedding. We have had so much fun and can’t wait to do our dance at the wedding. The Friday night dance party was wonderful as well. We were welcomed like old friends. The intro lessons are a great deal and are a great place to start. The community of dancers and instructors are great. Everyone is very supportive and welcoming. The dance parties are very fun!
