Beautiful place nicely decorated. Food is delicious 😋. Customer service a plus. A bit pricey but it was worth it

They only offer outside dining. You order inside and sit outside. They bring you your food. Service is friendly & efficient! I got the Sushi & Sashimi Bento. It was alright, but one of the Sashimi was not fully sliced into 2 pieces so I had to break it up with my Chopsticks. **Thank you to the business owner for your clarification on the Yellowtail... I've eaten a quite a lot of Sashimi and never had my Yellowtail prepared that way! Now I know. We also got a Chicken Bento but the Gyoza were cold. I would give them a try again, but not in a hurry.

Everything we order is delicious! We have been coming here since they opened a few years ago and will continue coming. Even throughout the pandemic their quality has remained 5-stars. The owners are so sweet and love our kids too.

Interesting contrast. Inside you have a great sushi restaurant, but looking out the window. You have Long Beach Blvd., which is a famous stroll for ladies of the night.

Great find thanks to Eater LA- sushi in Compton is here. Almost isolated like a cute house on a hill this Japanese restaurant has a great selection of sushi, bowls, ramen and even Japanese drinks. Awesome decor and a friendly staff. Definitely a favorite for me now.

Excellent family business restaurant. Authentic Japanese food, awesome service, food quality and its presentation!! Everything is delicious, and fresh. It takes a bit longer because everything is made at the moment but it’s worth it. It feels like a piece of Japan in the US.

One of the best sushi dinners we have ever had. Chef Bruce Lee and the staff were amazing, thank you for introducing us to katsuo, snapper and Bonito flakes. Mackerel was out of this world. Scottish salmon and hamachi... melt in your mouth

What an amazing find for me in the heart of Compton. The sushi here is absolutely authentic and it tastes amazing. It was recommended to me by a friend and I checked it out and have been coming here pretty often. Even during COVID19 epidemic, I usually order one or twice a week since it's so close to home. I definitely recommend checking it out!

So expensive for what you get!!! This is a no go!!! Don’t waste your money here! You are better going to a franchise sushi spot! I spent $106.00 for 4 rolls! Totally my fault for coming here!!! Learn my lesson!!!

Hubby and I saw this place on someone’s YouTube review and we thought, "a sushi restaurant in Compton? We need to try it!" And we're glad we did. Great service, great food, and the owner, Vivian, was really nice and friendly. We ordered the combination sashimi, nigiri, and roll boat. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I love this place. It is beautifully decorated and aesthetic in Japanese culture. However, the food and staff is a solid 10/10. The chef, and everyone else are so warm and welcoming. Their customer service is great, they attend to you in the sweetest manner. My favorite is the Alaska roll.

What else can I say about this place that hasn't already been said. It's a gem in the city of Compton. My go to spot for sushi in all of LA. Never have had a bad dish here. Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly. My go to dishes is the Kumiko roll and the Creamy Shrimp. If you are thinking about trying this place, please check it out. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.

KUMI KO was absolutely amazing, this is probably one of the best Sushi restaurants I've been to thus far & I have had lots of good sushi. The Owners run the place & they are very nice. The customer service is simply wonderful, they have a beautiful decorative establishment. Everything was so fresh & very well put together, you can tell they enjoy what they do. The place is not very huge & may not be in the best area but, when you try them out, you'll definitely be back! I will be back there soon & take pictures. KUMI KO 10-10.

Was not expecting to find high quality fish in a chirashi bowl in this part of town, but it was quite welcome!
