I called ahead because I was getting there 4 min after closing they said they would stay open. I drove all the way there. And they closed as I was pulling in 3min after closing I told them my order and everything and they said they would wait. So rude. They could have just said no. Waisted my time. On my ids birthday.

It was my first time coming to this place. I heard about it from a friend. She cooked for me the manicotti and I thought it was so good that I had to buy it & make it myself. I was a little confused about the location because I thought they were located on deer park avenue by the Lie but they're actually located on Deer park avenue on the other side by the high school in north Babylon area. Other than that I think the food is great and the service is good. The girl who works the front is very helpful and friendly. I definitely will come back again when I have some time.

This place is a gem! Local local local... need I say more? I will: 51 years in thre business has to mean something and it does. Pastas, raviolis, cavatelli, sausage, eggplant, mozzarella all only the best. Go and see for your self, you will be delighted! Oh yeah, see Charlie, he is so knowledgeable and always happy to help with any questions!

Great place. We have been going there for as long as I can remember 40+ years anyway. We no longer live in North Babylon but make the trip to shop here. Their fresh pasta is as good as it gets. The ravioli is outstanding. Service is great and the prices are rational for what you are getting. Parking can be an issue so have patience.

My bill came up to $17.74. Did not get a receipt but older guy behind the counter had a smirk on his face when I was leaving. Used my debit card to purchase. Something told me to check my bank account when I left and was charged $22.80. Verified with my bank if I was charged a processing fee. Even at 10% for using my debit card it wouldn’t come up to $5.00. No such fee. Called the store but he couldn’t give me a reason why I was charged $5.00 more . Was told to come back in but told him to keep it. Buyer beware, you get charged extra if you’re a darker shade of brown at this store. Get your receipt and check what you’re charged.

The food is always fresh & delicious! Also, the service is polite & friendly. We love their meatballs & ravioli.

Fair priced real Italian. Neighborhood, friendly, place. Breads and other baked goods from Brooklyn. Fresh made meatballs, rice balls, and more. As good as Gemelli's at better prices.

Been going here since the 70s with my dad. The prosciutto is a show stopper! The sausage bread is a fam fave! Highly recommended.

Love Pastosa. The ravioli, stuffed shells, and manicotti are delicious. The cutlets and sausages are great as well as are most prepared foods. I also love that they sell Boars Head cold cuts and at a better price than the deli or supermarkets. My only gripe about Pastosa is that the red sauce and prepared meatballs are aweful. Not even edible. So Pastosa is my top pick for Italian specialties but I will be making my own meatballs and sauce to go with the raviolis. How they mess up these two crucial items is beyond me. Still 5 stars for the rest of the store. Friendly folks in there as well. Seems like a nice family runs this store.

If you want authentic Italian food that’s either premade or items that are from Italy definitely stop by . Their prices are reasonable and they are very clean it’s definitely my one stop shop for buying Italian bread…

The only place I go to in Babylon for fresh pasta. All of it is delicious and fresh! They also have fresh baked breads and a deli section. Lots of Italian goodies.... Including desserts...

A staple for fresh ravioli, manicotti and shells... there's a clear difference between pastosa and the rest... fresh is the best! Always great service at the counter! Worth the wait if you're on line outside!

Love this place. You can NOT find a better fresher Ravioli or Manicotti (stuffed shells too) cant even compare to the frozen in the supermarket. You can freeze the fresh ones and they beat anything you have ever had !!! They have meat and breads, salads oh cookies too ... get the lemon drops.... no wait there won't be any left for me. 🙂 try their sauces, meat breads and stromboli!! Good old fashion family run store ♥️

Rice balls only 3 left when o got there..not as I remember them..tasted some odd spice..thyme or rosemary or idk what it was..not the good old fashioned rice balks I knew..pricey buy worth it for the delicious meats and raviolis of course..
