What a great way to spend the afternoon! We did this tour today with my husband and our two girls (ages 12 and 14) in two tandem kayaks. Over this 2hr excursion we got to explore trails through the mangroves, saw 2 manatees swimming in the open water, got to hold a sea stars and lots more. Our guide, Bobby, was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. He made the afternoon fun, entertaining and we learned a lot too. Lots of stops and breaks along the way so the time flew by. We even got out of our boats for a quick walk on a beach. Don’t forget to pack some water and if you need a waterproof bag, they have lots there for your use.

We were so happy with our experience! We rented 2 kayaks and did a self-guided experience. Bob made sure to explain the map and where were should go. The mangroves were so relaxing and fun to explore. We even saw a manatee in the canal! Everything was set up and ready when we arrived (we called ahead with an hour notice) and we were provided a dry bag to bring our belongings on the kayak. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in the area. The prices are very reasonable as well.

We had an amazing morning with our own private tour guide Bobby. He made us feel at ease as first time kayakers. The manatee are usually heading to warmer weather this time of year so its not a guarantee you will see them . I was really excited we met a playful little family of them. Some other guides came for a few minutes to look but Bobby kept us there at least 15 minutes to really enjoy having them swim around us. Off to the mangroves we saw starfish and held one for a few seconds. He held and showed us the upside down jellyfish in the bay. We also saw many large birds and tiny crabs. Paddling thru some of the mangroves made us laugh because we weren't experienced but we made it safely and without falling in all morning! Highly recommend!

Our kayaking trip was amazing! Sea biscuit was so nice helping us get set up with our boats and so friendly! We were told we might see some Manatees on our trip, but we had no idea how much of a surprise we were in for. I have attached some pictures of these beautiful creatures we got the opportunity to see up close and personal!

The greatest time. Bobby was our guide and he was a beast. Very knowledgeable and he summoned like 10 dolphins for us to rage with. Highly recommend this company!

My family and I had a really fun time here. It was a nice workout and very cool to see some of the wildlife that lives down here. Our guide Bobby was not only very funny but also very knowledgeable. I would recommend doing something like this to not only see what you may not see at the beaches but the opportunity to get up very close to see manatees. That was most certainly the highlight of the trip. And I'm glad that we were able to see some.

Great company to do kayaking and paddle boarding. They always respond to your messages. We used this company twice: kayaking and recently took a paddle board lesson with a tour. Our tour guide, Sea biscuit, was awesome, flexible, funny....he managed to take pictures of us while paddle boarding himself, he found manatee for us !!!!!! He simply made our day !!! Thank you!!

Sea Biscuit is our expert guide and we actually followed him to Sarasota Paddleboard from another tour company (and he did not “steer” us wrong). His knowledge of the mangroves and sea life environment was immeasurable. The kayaks were super comfortable and the tour group small and manageable. Make sure to book with Sea Biscuit and you will not only learn a ton (AND be ready to kayak on your own), you will have made a friend for life.

Spectacular service! Felt like Bob and the guys were friends for years! My brother and I spent the day paddling through the mangroves and even saw some wildlife.

We had a great time kayaking and exploring the mangroves! It was so much fun! We loved learning about the history behind it and all the wildlife that lives there. Bobby made the tour really fun while still being informative. Dolphins swam right near our kayaks, such a wild experience. I highly recommend using them for your kayak tour, you won’t regret it!

Bobby was fantastic! My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves completely! We saw tons of wildlife and sea creatures and the mangroves were so relaxing and pristine. You could tell Bobby really cares about the mangroves and the wildlife that lives there. We stopped at a cute little beach and got to explore that too. For never kayaking before, I felt very comfortable and in good hands.

My husband and I had an amazing kayaking experience with the Sarasota Paddleboard Company. It was super easy to book with the company and communicate with the staff. We booked the Mangrove tour in Lido Key. Our tour guide, Bobby, was the best! Super friendly, kind, down to earth and knowledgeable. He made the tour really fun and interesting. Highly recommend taking this tour. Next time we come down to the area with family, we will be bringing them to kayak with this company again and asking for Bob.

Best day ever with Bob and Bobby kayaking through the Mangroves and on the Bay. Saw a live starfish, jellyfish, sea urchin, mom and baby manatees, birds, crabs. My first time kayaking. It was safe, fun, educational, a great day. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Someone said there would be manatees. More on that later. This company was wonderful. I can't even say well worth the wait because there wasn't one. We called 40 minutes ahead and were set. Tons of things to see, knowledgeable guide, and an incredibly relaxing trip even though it was windy. After the trip our guide mentioned there may be manatees in a certain area. After lunch we checked it out and we were rewarded. Thanks for the great adventure Sarasota paddleboard company!

Bobby was a great guide. Explained everything very well and helped all that needed it. Very knowledgeable and made it a very interactive experience. The route was great and we saw and learned about Florida wildlife. Highly recommend them! You won’t be disappointed.
