Note that this place is cash only!! Besides that minor inconvenience, this place is 100% worth it. The food is amazing and freshly prepared and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. I’d definitely recommend the burek and the roasted duck! The service is also great with friendly, attentive service staff. We will definitely be coming back!

Come and enjoy a relaxing evening of authentic Serbian cuisine. All food is made in house and delicious. FYI some dishes take 45 minutes to a hour ,but worth it the wait. It's not very big so we came early 4:30 and left at 6 it was packed. Baklava was amazing best I ever had. Service was top notch and very attentive. No credit cards accepted bring plenty of cash.

What a fantastic restaurant! The food is spectacular. We had the burek and grape leaves as well as a few of the chicken dishes and they were all spectacular. The venue has a very family feeling to it. The service is spectacular. Very fast and attentive. Even though the dishes take a long time to prepare it feels like time flies when you are there. Couldn’t recommend highly enough and will definitely be coming back!

Truly a Milwaukee gem! Had the beef Börek for the main dish and for dessert the Palacinka and Baklava - all of which were absolutely delicious! Our server Oguis and one of the owners Branco were extremely hospitable. Couldn’t have asked for a better time.

The restaurant was very loud, service was good. The Beef Burek was cooked perfectly, but I would personally like a sauce or cheese with it. My friend got the pork goulash, she said it was a bit salty, but good.

Great family restaurant. We had never tried Serbian food before. Highly recommend. I had meat burek and my wife had goulash. Delicious. Cash only but don’t you dare let that deter you.

This is the most romantic, charming restaurant in Milwaukee! I loved the authentic Serbian food and amazing family ambiance. They are also recipients of the James Beard Award! Highly recommend treating yourself to this exquisite dining experience!

We have been going to Three Brothers since about 1970. The food never disappoints! Unfortunately we no longer live in the Milwaukee area but whenever we go past Milwaukee we make it a stopping night to eat at the Three Brothers. My youngest son who is a pilot was in Milwaukee the other day and walked from the airport to the restaurant just to have the Beef Burek! Great place.

Dined in for 2. Went on a random night for dinner and the service was very nice. It wasn’t too busy so the atmosphere was very nice. Got the stuffed grape leaves, chicken dumpling soup, roast duck, and the spinach and cheese burek. Everything was great, especially the stuffed grape leaves. The price was around $50 a person for our meal, but we definitely did order a lot. Can definitely be around $30 per person for a meal.

Absolutely fantastic! My wife and I shared the grape leaves, spinach and cheese burek, and stuffed peppers. Everything was SO fresh and delicious! We finished with baklava, which was served warm, and was outstanding! Although certain dishes take a while to prepare, we felt it was well worth the wait. The restaurant has a great ambiance - full of life and chatter. We will surely be back!!

The epitome of what a family run restaurant should be. Food is made to order, so it is not fast, but that’s by design- you’re supposed to enjoy your company, and then the food is just like grandma made it. I don’t have the superlatives to describe the food, other than the awards they have received are well earned. And the prices are very reasonable too. Just make sure to make a reservation and bring cash (or your checkbook).

Don’t miss it! Be prepared to relax and take your time. This food is made with great care and it shows! Each item was the best we have ever eaten of that dish. Do yourself a favor, call ahead for a reservation, take a slow paced evening and always remember it! The wait staff was also exceptional.

Best meal I have eaten in a LONG time. It was more like eating at friends house that loves food and sharing his/her passion with others. Every course was better than the last. What an absolute treasure this place is. Thank you.

Our dinners were amazing! I had the goulash-so tender and delicious! My friends had roast duck, burek, and sarma. All meals looked wonderful and my friends said everything was perfect. Be sure to get reservations so you are not disappointed because I understand this restaurant is very busy every night.

I felt lucky I got a seat in the Three Brothers restaurant and what I experienced and ate made that luck feel validated! The restaurant is a little small and aged but well kept, cozy and clean! Service was great on all ends, no problems there! The food was excellent! From the soup, beef entre, dessert and Serbian coffee, I enjoyed every bit of it and it was worth the wait to get it all! If you're in the area, try Three Brothets out! It's great and I definitely would stop by again of I was visiting the area! Videos and pictures are of the outside and inside of the restaurant, menu, and food I got!

The art and atmosphere is well curated. Feels like a good place to have a family dinner. While we were dining there was a couple celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. Our server was friendly.

I love this place so much. We ate there two weeks ago and I can't stop thinking about it that I had come and leave a review! Everyone needs to try this place out!. This charming place located at the end of a street in a residential neighborhood. You feel like you were just invited over to a family's house for dinner. The service is outstanding. Emily was our waitress, and she was wonderful. I was blown away by her service I needed to mention it. She offered wonderful suggestions and I think we took them all. We ate our way through the menu and honestly it's hard to pick a favorite. We even saved room for dessert. The coffee is outstanding! We tried so much it was hard to pick a favorite. Every bite I took felt like the hands that prepared it were giving me a warm hug. I am already looking forward to coming back again.

I had good experience dining in. Service is good, food are great. The only thing probably is the "cash or check" only payment but still I will be back again.

This place was absolutely AMAZING! The service was great from the start, our server Emily was super friendly and gave us an overview of the history of the restaurant and building. We were able to call ahead to put our name in for a table which was nice as we went on a Friday night. My husband got the beef burak which he LOVED, even the leftovers reheated, and I got the Goulash (GF version). They have many other dishes you can order gluten free which is so great. The grape leaves appetizer was amazing as well. Definitely the best I've ever had! The atmosphere is also great. It is a small restaurant, and has a lot of happy, fun energy. There are plants everywhere too! For a drink I ordered the Serbian pear brandy with honey, and Emily offered to have it made as an old fashioned since I didn't want it as a shot. It was DELICIOUS! We will definitely be going back!

This restaurant continues its exceptional run, generation after generation. My wife and I left tonight extremely well satisfied. On a very cold night it was a pleasure to walk into the warm and charming glow of this old world restaurant. We were greeted and taken care of by an energetic, kind and fun crew that attended to our every need in an unrushed fashion. And the food was so outstanding that I remarked to my wife I couldn’t remember the last time I had such a good meal. “Ethnic” cuisine may not be the fashion in many circles these days, but if you don’t have this restaurant on your rota you are missing out - big time.

What a lovely gem! The restaurant is tucked away in Bayview on a quiet street. Everything from start to finish was excellent. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you’re very well cared for and are enjoying your experience. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. The chef/owner came to our table at least twice to make sure we were enjoying our meal which was a very nice touch and greatly appreciated. We started with the grape leaves, the best I’ve ever eaten before. Then we shared two entrées, the beef burek and the roasted goose. Both were very delicious. We finished with a cherry strudel that was a nice ending to a wonderful meal. Highly recommend! I will be going back to enjoy their delicious food.
