Always a beautiful place to go for a walk or run! Grounds are kept up well and lots of space to enjoy with nature to see. Recommend exploring the bird sanctuary at Baker Woodlot and Rajendra, Lewis Landscape Arboretum, MSU Horticulture Gardens, and enjoying the trails alongside the Red Cedar River.

Definitely the best venue! Wonderful 40th Anniversary concert with Jessica Vosk of the Broadway Hit Wicked! If you haven’t seen a show at Wharton, you’ve got to experience it. Great acoustics. Friendly staff and volunteers. And performances that will leave you awestruck. They also have a great gift shop that will have you rolling! There is even a piano in the passage from the parking ramp to the center that you can feel free to play! Definitely one classy place!

Buses are very underfunded. Buses are often overcrowded and infrequent. It'll take 20 minutes to get to a class less than 1 mile away. Walking is often faster. Too bad buildings are very spaced out and it's often cold outside. You'll be walking through multiple parking lots to get to a class that's 90% online anyway. Dorms are dated and small, especially in the South Neighborhood (engineering). People are friendly though, and the parks are pretty. Students deserve a much better campus overall. Prepare to feel underwhelmed if you enroll here, especially if they're housing you anywhere south of the river.

I Loved everything about this campus! From the wide open spaces to the community spirit among all Spartans you can truly feel like you're at home among this group of people. I hope to join the 2019 class of Spartans for these exact reasons. There is something to do every day of the week and you can tell they really focus on making a positive view of themselves involving school work and team spirit!

Have a son who is currently a student at Michigan State. I am impressed with what he has been able to accomplish so far. I have visited the campus a few times and it is a beautiful place. Being from Tuscaloosa, Alabama myself, I must add, it ain't no University of Alabama though...RTR

Absolutely horrible! My daughter went to visit her boyfriend for the weekend... There was a robbery and shooting within blocks and her vehicle was stolen. Lansing police were zero help. You couldn't pay me to send my child there!

RJ teaches diversity/ethics/etc and made fun of my partner's disability. We were hoping that RJ would actually rent a house that is well maintained, given her university status. Instead she insisted the house was to code and laughed at my partners disability. The price was over the value of the rental, opportunist profit for sure. Be better. She even insisted "I'm not one of those slum lords"... As she drove away in her Porche we looked at the boarded up window, she said "thats if you want to install an AC"....install the AC you cheapskate. Oh, and she doesn't do section 8 normally, so that means it's 100% for profit. Walk the walk, don't just talk the talk. I'm not trying to hurt you, just provoke a response and hopefully some action. Include disability in your diversity please, and make your rental properties better, I'm sure you don't live in a home anymore similar to what you showed us. I love the gardens and agricultural programs at MSU.

Streets and sidewalks and crosswalks are well lit. Plenty of parking including covered parking. Student Union is huge with lots of options grocery dining, meeting spaces, information desk.

Great place to experience. Get a great education, work, see a show or sporting event. And don't get me started about the ice cream, wow!

Everyone was very nice. Though things were a little confusing and everything looked the same. We found our venue and enjoyed our experience.

It’s a fun place with a lot unusual things. For instance, I didn’t know I needed an Erlenmeyer flask or beaker until I saw them.
