Not trying to be dramatic but, this was one of the coolest experiences of my life. The clarity of the water was unbelievable and we saw so many fish we had never seen snorkeling elsewhere in Maui. The guides were fantastic, super knowledgeable about the areas we visited (geology, animals we saw, island history, etc) and were very fun to spend the day with. It was an admittedly early start but you’re the first boat to the crater which meant no crowds of snorkelers to compete with, we had fresh water to swim in every stop we went to. I’ll definitely be returning to Redline next time I’m here.

The best snorkeling excursion I have ever experienced! Molokini crater was amazing and a must if you come to Maui. Snorkeled with so many cool fish, a sea turtle, and saw so many whales. Allie and Jonathan were the best guide and boat captain! They made the trip so fun and I never once felt unsafe. We will most definitely do this again when we come back!

The 5 Hour Tour is worth the premium if you have the time and want to get a lot of snorkeling in. If you've never snorkeled before, they will teach you (and I recommend starting with a float belt). ***Use the restroom *before* you show up to the dock. The restrooms were still locked, and some desperate folks were taking care of business in the woods behind the restroom area. Not a fun way to start, and not something Redline can control.*** Chase and Zack were super fun and knowledgeable and appeared dedicated to everyone's safety at all times. Never a dull moment on the tour. You will see tons of fish, and almost guaranteed to see turtles if they take you to the turtle spot. Breakfast and lunch were as described, and pretty scrumptious after a morning full of swimming. Under-seat storage is available but avoid bringing a bulky bag. Questioning your abilities? Should go without saying but please be able to swim (don't have to be good at it at all, just able) if you book this. You'll also need the flexibility to be able to hold onto a ladder while in the water while removing your flippers. Would 100% do this again!

My family and I had an amazing time with red line rafting! We did the 7:30 am tour out to Molokini for snorkelling for 2 hours. Both guides (Allie and the captain) were funny, knowledgeable, and engaging. The snorkeling was incredible and the boat ride out there was great, with them pointing out the whales along the way. Would definitely recommend and go again with this company!

Fun snorkeling trip to the Molokini crater. Captains were super fun and knowledgeable. The backside of the crater was over the top snorkeling in deep blue water and the “elevator” as they call it. While many got sea sick at this point, those that got in said it was an amazing experience. Snorkeled with the turtles and saw huge pod of spinner dolphins 🐬 doing all sorts of playful tricks. Great trip!! Would do it again.

The highlight of our trip! So glad we went with Redline, the boat was fast and they took us to four awesome places instead of the standard two. We were in the water much longer than we would have been in a different boat, which I loved. The place behind Molokini crescent was my favorite, it was unusual and spectacular! The historical insights and explanations along the way were great too. Highly recommend, it was perfect for us!

The guys were a blast and made the trip so much fun. Can’t waIt for our kids to get here so we can book a snorkeling trip with them. I will be recommending Redline Rafting to all my friends, family and patients from the dental office. Thanks for a great day!!!!

First off, we had the J team! Two awesome guys who were incredibly knowledgeable about the islands, culture, and wildlife, and were funny to boot! Years ago, I did a Molikini boat tour on a very large boat. It was overcrowded and had a lot of wait time for people to get in and out of the boat. Also, you will wait for the scuba divers they also take out. This tour is so much more personal and fun because of the small boat and limited spots, not to mention the fast speeds they go! As always, Molokini was awesome, but this time I got to snorkel on the outside, which I’ve never done before. It was a completely different, yet just as amazing experience. I’ve been lucky enough to see turtles just offshore when swimming, but turtle town was definitely worth it. The reef there is full of life, and you will be able to watch the cleaner fish working on the turtles. Breakfast and lunch was all tasty and fresh, and there was plenty to go around. Not only would I do this tour again, but I would be sure to request the J team.

We did the whale watching tour and we had a great experience. I can’t believe the photos and video my son was able to take. The guides were experienced and funny. They also had a hydrophone so we could hear the whales. We stayed in Ka’anapali but made the drive to Kihei on a recommendation from my sister-in-law. This trip will not disappoint.

We had a great whale watching tour today with Captain Tim & McKenna. They were knowledgeable and funny, and most importantly, found many humpback whales! Highly recommend!

Josh & Tim were absolutely amazing team and had us engaged the whole time. We had never been in a small boat raft before but it’s now our favorite. We had no issues the whole time and we saw two humpback whales. Thank you guys for making our Maui trip memorable.

Was possibly one of the best highlights of our trip. We saw whales within minutes. The captain and his Firstmate were awesome. A great outing and would definitely do it again with Redline the next time we go out. Fantastic!!!

We’ve been whale watching and snorkeling on separate occasions with Redline and each experience has been amazing. It’s a small group and very personalized. Each captain was very knowledgeable and personable. We will definitely use them for future tours

Professional ride out to Molokini. They provide snorkeling gear so all you have to do is show up. Good attention to detail (they applied anti-fog to the masks)and safety. It's a super-short ride and it's nice to be on the water. As you can see in their pictures they use rigid inflatable boats; these are safe but lack the space of a bigger boat so be prepared for seating to feel a little tight. Redline is actually one of the cheapest (the cheapest?) rides you can get to Molokini, so if you're price-sensitive like me they're a good bet. As a long-time latin America traveler it's hard for me to accept Hawaii prices in general, and our recent inflation doesn't help. $130/head plus tax was $710.60 for my family of five.

It was a great experience and we had a ton of fun. Was my first time properly snorkeling and the crew was very helpful and encouraging. The water was super blue and clear! The corals and fish in the area are amazing and the ride was very smooth. Highly recommend this experience!

Had a great experience with Tim and Zach today! Got to hit up some amazing snorkeling spots and the water was so clear and beautiful! We did the 5 hour tour and for us the highlights were the crater and turtle town! Tim and Zach kept the vibe chill and relaxed, had so much knowledge to share and had plenty of jokes to sling 😂 - I highly recommend this experience!

One of the absolute best snorkel experiences I’ve had. The crew (Chase and Ari, not sure of spelling!!) we’re so kind, knowledgeable and had plenty of Dad Jokes ready for us. It didn’t seem to be crowded with people anywhere we went because we’d get there as others were leaving, or before anyone new came - so that was great! It was a lot of fun and I’d definitely do it again! Thanks guys!!

We scheduled the 5-hour Molokini Crater and South Maui Coast snorkeling tour after reading some of the great reviews online. From checking in, to getting on and in the water - Tony and Jake were fantastic. They made us laugh, they made us feel safe, they were super knowledgeable about the islands and waters we were about to snorkel. This was the first time my wife and I had ever snorkeled and they made us feel confident and comfortable. The entire experience from beginning to end, exceeded our expectations. Whenever we’re back in Maui we will definitely be booking another tour with Redline Rafting.

Our family had a blast doing the snorkeling tour. Tony and Ari were great guides and made the experience really fun. We did the 5 hour tour and were on a smaller boat with less people, so more personal. We got to see lots of fish and turtles, very clear water. Highly recommend.

Shout out to Tim, Jake and McKenna for the best day snorkeling. We did the 5 hour one and they took us to 4 different snorkel areas, we did both sides of the crater and the last with the turtles. Being on the raft was super fast and such a fun ride in itself. We got a light breakfast and lunch as well! The crew were so funny and kind and the snorkel equipment was great! Don’t hesitate to book—they’re the best!

It was so much fun! Got some awesome pictures of the turtles and had an amazing time. Kieka (sorry I don't know how to spell their name) and Zach were amazing and gave us a great experience. They also had food for us on the boat and they are really good. Overall a great experience and 100% going to come back when I am in Hawaii.

Just WOW! Whales and dolphins and turtles oh my! What a wonderful experience we had on the 5-hour morning snorkeling tour. The snorkeling was absolutely stunning and being able to see so many things in one tour was certainly a highlight! Chase and Zach were some of the best guides we have had from previous travels. They were knowledgeable and friendly, making the trip all that much better. They really have a passion for the area and shared what they like to do on their off days which was basically snorkeling and diving! They took us to great spots and we weren’t on top of other boats, which of course is better because you don’t feel crowded in the water. Mid-April and we saw two whales! Apparently a rare occurrence, but the most welcomed one. All the different fish swimming below and around you was magical. I have done snorkeling in other places and have found that the fish are only there because the guide throws food in the water. This was all naturally their habitat so there was no need to “create” the experience. We also saw some turtles which was one of my favorite traveling experiences to date! Such a surreal experience watching these beautiful turtles. Just amazing. Overall - BOOK THIS TOUR WITH REDLINE RAFTING! You really won’t regret it and you are guaranteed to have the best tour in Maui!

This was a FANTASTIC trip! The boat ride by itself was an adventure! Molokini was beautiful and I highly recommend booking with Redline Rafting. They were wonderful hosts and made me feel right at home.

We had a wonderful time on the 9am tour. The crew was fun and very knowledgeable. We feel so lucky to have had the experience of seeing so many whales up close. I got so many great photos and videos to share with family and friends! We highly recommend this tour and will definitely choose to do it again!

WHALE WATCH TOUR January 2022 -- Here's what you need to know -- Rafting for whale watches is THE WAY to go. Spend less time getting to whales and more time doing what you're there for - watching them! Another great reason -- max capacity of 16 people. Not once on our tour did I feel like I had to fight for good views or good pictures. Redline Rafting is an excellent company. Tim (captain) and Kim (Marine Biologist) were awesome, personable and entertaining. They made us feel completely at ease, and we had a lot of fun. The raft is NOT a rough ride. We've been in much rockier boats on fresh water. Our only regret is that we didn't do it again. Picture attached is the full-body breach we got as a surprise ending!
