I wanted to work with someone local, and found Paul Davis online. The website said that the business was available 24/7 so I called at 3:00 a.m., fully expecting to get an answering service. Instead, I spoke with Jeff (the owner). Despite being woken up at an ungodly hour, he was helpful, comforting and reassuring. He had his crew out to my house by 10:00 a.m. The crew was professional and gave me a good overview of what they would be doing. I felt comfortable enough leaving them to go to work. They kept me updated on their progress through the day and answered any questions I had. They came back every day for the next 4 days to check on the progress of the drying, and they provided me with daily updates. Once their part was completed, they came in and removed their equipment and put things back together as much as they could. Jeff called me with a final update and gave me the phone number of a contractor that he works with on a regular basis. He also called and gave an update to my claims adjuster. Jeff and his crew took a very stressful situation and made it into something manageable. I really appreciate everything they did to help me manage the situation and would recommend them to anyone looking for a home restoration company.

I called Jeff Doe at Paul Davis of White Bear Lake for help with water damage from a pipe leaking in the wall. My issue was fairly small compared to many of the jobs seen by restorations companies. Despite the non-emergency nature of my problem, Jeff came within a couple hours of my phone call. He was prepared to start the work immediately if I agreed with his damage assessment and estimate. I did, so he went right to work on setting up the equipment needed to dry out the wet areas. Once the drying was complete, he returned on schedule to pick up his equipment and clean up the affected areas. Jeff was a delight to work with. He was responsive, competent, trustworthy, and professional — everything I look for in someone who comes into my home for service. He balanced an honest assessment of the damage with a fair price for his service. He clearly had my best interests in mind. He was also good about communicating his arrival times. The owner, Jeff Doe, and his staff did an excellent job of taking care of the mold in my den wall. They were efficient and careful in protecting the rest of the room and mold was completely taken care of by their chemical application along with removal of the affected drywall. Jeff even stopped by about a week later to be sure that I was pleased with his services.
