5 stars for the food. 1 star for service. We traveled 1 hour to enjoy this food 2 or 3 times a year. Every time the service is just so bad. 2 sundays ago the waitress forgot my husband's meal and didn't offer us drinks when we ordered the food. She didn't even notice that I was the only one eating at the table while my husband was having bread for lunch. We told her, absolutely no apologies. Improving the service will give this place 10 stars.

I was first introduced to Chilean food by wife who is (you guessed it) Chilean. I myself come Puerto Rican decent. She took me to the San Antonio Bakery that was in Astoria. The first taste of there amazing churrasco I was instantly hooked. All there food is amazing and people are very friendly. I was said to hear the one in Astoria closed down. But then was happy to here there was another one in valley stream and it's the same owners so I'm getting the same quality of food. Please try everything when you can when you come here.

HORRIBLE!!!!! The owner of this establishment has zero people skills!! He had himself & his staff try the fried fish I returned because it was smothered in salt! This man literally argued with me about what I liked & told me I should’ve ordered it with “No salt” & called me “picky” like whattt????? I couldn’t believe this man owns a restaurant, like how has he been in business this long.To add to the great experience we saw a ton of fruit flies which should’ve been the first red flag!! This restaurant is a disgrace to our culture!!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!!!!

We had a friend's birthday party and the server was very pleasant and kind. The manager even played recorded birthday song and also Spanish dance songs and guests could be able to dance as well. It was not an arranged dance party but the manager was sensible enough to put some Spanish dance songs. We had a great time. Oh! The cake (had caramel in between layers) was absolutely delicious!

I enjoy trying new restaurants but I definitely wasted money here. The food was disgusting! Tasteless, chewy-tough steak. So disappointing. I would never ever go back or recommended this restaurant.

Love this place. The ceviche is fresh with a variety of seafood. Just delicious and highly recommended. The cakes with fruits and whipped cream are the lightest and freshest cakes I have ever had and not too sweet. The flan is a good size and do light and silky smooth. All is fresh and tasty. Yes, they are a little slow at times but the quality of the food is worth the wait. Check this restaurant out it is worth it.

Wow shocked about this place. First start off that no one speaks english. I’m an adopted Chilean and I chose to come here bc the family likes to celebrate my heritage. No one understood wine bottle, the menu is not the same as online, lack explaining what is in dishes, there is no flavor. We had plain chicken & steak. I cook better w seasoning. Dessert was the worst. We got old dried up breaking apart pastries. A woman lied to us saying it was choc and we go home, take a bite of this “chocolate” custard and it was all caramel & tough. I am appalled $50 in bakery $200 dinner there it was absolute the worst dinner I have ever had in my life & humiliated as I want people to know about Chilean food. We used to come here before covid but now we will never return. Awesome job over herep

Food is always delicious, in a very pleasant and private sitting. They serve Chilean and Peruvian cuisine, the menue is not very big, but the portions are very generous. That said the service became a bit lackluster compared to a pre-covid times. Waiting time was excessive even with the restaurant half full. Desert and tres-leches cakes are scrumptious and definitely have to try.

This was my first time in the restaurant, I was surprised by the good food and service , the restaurant owner was very friendly , and when we walked into the room, we felt very welcome excellence bread and pastries, marraquetas, hallullas, dobladitas y inas excellent empanadas de queso y pino. Continued with the great work 👍

The owner(Ruben) welcomed us like we were his customers always. He even sat down with us and we found out that he speaks Greek too. That was my first time there. Nice people, good food and pastries. Nice environment and very clean. I'm definitely going back again when I'm in the area.

Friendly and fast service, the food was on point! Hot, fresh and I was eating within a few minutes. They recently added some peruvian dishes. The Lomo Saltado was great!

We bought a Dulce De Leche on Saturday for a co-workers birthday and it was delicious!! Don’t sleep on this small bakery on Rockaway. Shop local. It was so moist and fresh! Will stop in again soon ♥️

Def wouldn’t recommend. Have been going to this place for years. Since the first days they opened. I drove 3 hours to go go eat there. Food was terrible. Seafood still cold. There famous “fish plate” was disgusting. Almost as if they left the fish in the fryer for way too long. Pastel de choclo was cold inside. When we told the waiter is was cold. The manager came to us and embarrassed us with questions. We said if it was that big of a problem, we would just pay for it. Food was a -5 out of 10. Oh and it took over an hour for the food to come out, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Def wouldn’t ever go back. Juanitos down the street is what I highly recommend if you want Chilean food!

Great chilean food and the bakery is an excellent place to take home the most delicious chilean pastries and breads. Not a 5 start only because the food took a bit too long to get to the table, other than that delicious.
