I had my son go here, his name is Thomson, date of birth is June 19, 2020. He had two types of viruses inside his body at the same time, the Adenovirus, and the meta preumovirus. He was very tired and sick. He was transferred to the ICU on April 26 for a couple of days. And then was transferred to the of the new hospital building when he got better, and when he started to eat and drink. And they treated him as perfectly as possible. They were careful, and respectful, and they took good care of him. I don’t remember all the names of the doctors and nurses that took care of him but thanks to them, he is doing so much better, and is playing as normal, and me, and all of my family wants to thank the doctors and nurses that were there for him.

Medical Negligence! Medical negligence occurs when medical care providers fail to fulfill their professional obligations. Every medical provider has a duty of care they owe to patients. Come here if you want to be violated and your rights not cared for. They delivered my firstborn ,called security and got kicked off the property for recording my own baby. They said it was against the law which they couldn't prove but just a Mere company policy. Doesn't apply because I don't work there and it's a first amendment right to record my baby (property). Surprisingly they became from nice to really rude just because I was stating facts about a birth right contract which they accepted. Cordial and strait forward with what I had to say which I guess automatically made me an aggressor. Its been 12 hours now. haven't bonded or held my baby yet. They're a business and all actors. The building has this depiction or facade of being Christian or in other words spiritual. That hospital lost my trust and respect. Theres more they violated but basically just wanted the public to know what goes on here. They threatened to charge me with trespass. felt helpless. My wife is at the hospital with nurses that have no morals. Nothing I could do now but seek legal advice.

I took my son in about a month ago for croup-like coughing to the Emergency Room and I waited in the department for over two hours just to be told that there was nothing they could do for my son and told me to give him comfort. No breathing treatment, steroids, testing, absolutely nothing. She said she couldn’t figure out what was wrong but it was viral. I then proceeded to cry because I had went a month of being told “it’s viral there’s nothing we can do” so then the doctor all of a sudden “played it by ear” and said it sounded like whooping cough but there was nothing she could do because it was out of the week treatment time and was handed our discharge papers. I felt as if she self diagnosed him to make me feel better about him having something. I immediately called his doctors to inform them of the visit and they were highly concerned of this doctors credentials because she A) diagnosed my son without properly testing him and B) offered no sort of treatment for the condition when medicine CAN be given. I went into the doctors office and they ordered a chest x-ray as well as a whooping cough test and he was NEGATIVE for whooping cough and positive for croup. He had to be given two rounds of steroids and multiple breathing treatments over the course of the next two weeks. Had the doctor caught this at your facility, we could have saved another medical bill that we can’t afford already and he would have been properly treated and in recovery. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone, and you really need to check that doctors practice skills because she’s just trying to get patients and not the proper care.

Took my kid here who had a high temperature of 103 and they put me off to the side for hours. I seen others get checked first who had lesser injuries while my kid was at a constant hight fever. It took 3 hours for the doctor to see my kid. I asked him why it took too long for him to see my child, and didn't get a response. Dr.Chen and Tran should not be working there. Horrible experience, with those trainees. They were real quick to hand me release papers when I mentioned the service was bad. Those two clowns should not be working with kids. They didn't bother to do any further testing and was released while my kid still had 103 temp.

I went though hell delivering my son and dealing with the NICU my breastfeeding was sacrfied my son has separation anxiety I felt like less than a women and a mother and it was hell to get my son home the nurses are lazy their policys on feeding a ridiculous they made me feel like a bad parent because I wanted my son home.they demanded that he see a pediatrician the day after he was released and the pediatrician said that was absolutely ridiculous my son is 100% healthy and thriving. And I am happy to say I will never go there again . they took a month of my time with my son and a lot of bonding opportunities from me. I never even got to meet his dr. That dosnt make me feel like my son is safe.

We had one first baby 8 years ago at Loma linda hospital and at the time the care given I thought was top notch. Fast forward May 2022, we had our other baby at yhe same facility. So I don't know if it's the time laspes or there has been change in management, but for sure this has been one of the worst experiences we have had. My wife had cesarean birth, I think the care after overall has been horrible. It's been a struggle to get her pain meds, she had C-cut get a little septic, we cleaned and went back to hospital as instructed, this time they glued it which made matters worse. We had to go back on another appointment. This was even more disturbing that she went in as early as 10 am, she was first looked at at 6:30 pm. I would think that when somebody is in pain , naturally their blood pressure would be high, only at 8 pm did they a single pain med for my wife with radiating pain through the back and down to the legs! Some the suggestion by the stuff we're eye raising. To suggest that a patient's account of their ordeal keeps changing was mind blowing! We had to insist and plead for anti biotic. How in the world do you make a prescription and send it to a pharmacy that I did not tell you to send to! We finally were released at 3:45 am, and were are supposed to report back in 3 day... God know for what!!!!!! VERY CONCERNED!!!!!

Their Maternal and Fetal medicine care is outstanding. The Nurses and Doctors go beyond generosity in providing that care a patient needs. I had my toddler 2 years ago here and recently my little girl a few days ago. I'm glad I decided to choose Loma Linda once again for maternal care. The moments and care I received from Loma Linda from the starting point of my pregnancy to the end of it will always be a cherished memory in my heart. My C-section unfortunately had to be last minute and my husband couldn't be there. The nurses and doctors knew how sad and devastated I was and were with me 100% making sure my first C-section wasn't so scary. Many thanks and warm hugs to all the nurses and doctors that did not once disappoint in providing care for me and my new born. Thank you Loma Linda Maternal and Fetal medicine, Antepartum, Labor and Delivery, 3800 Post Partum and the NICU team. I am deeply thankful and without words.

One NEVER chooses a hospital as a recreational destination for one's child. It is a necessity. When it is necessary (and it has been on SEVERAL occasions - in my case), Loma Linda University Children's Hospital is THE hospital I'd wholeheartedly recommend. The support staff, the doctors and nurses are always on point. They seemingly go above and beyond the call of duty. One then realizes that this is their standard model. Superb service and care. I can't express enough my appreciation for what the entire hospital has done for 2 of my children - even in the minutiae. I extend my deepest, most sincere and genuine gratitude to you all.

Do not ever come here. This place is ridiculous. Was in the waiting room for almost 5 hours as my son had gotten a bad allergic reaction to some vaccines he had taken the day before. His arm was really swollen hot and red and he had a fever. Not a thing was done because his situation wasn’t considered an "emergency". Yes there are other kids whose situation is worse in the waiting room and need to be seen before. But our son was literally the least of their worries that night. Had to go up to the front and ask them if it was even worth us waiting for him to be seen as they told us they would have just gave him some moltrin. Didn’t even care to actually find out and check if something was wrong with the vaccines or if his body was reacting a certain way to it. They just figured it wasn’t a real "emergency" and get us out of there as soon as possible to get us out of the way. We live right next to an emergency room for adults and we have had better experiences taking him there as this was our first time taking him to a childrens emergency room. Last time we ever visit this place. Would rather stick to a regular emergency room. Save yourself 5 hours of your life and don’t come here.

I went for my Fetal Echo today at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital. MD Upinder Jodhka took time out and spoke to me in person in regards to my results. I was satisfied and worryfree after i spoke with her. She was ver patient with me. The nurse and the technician was very nice as well. Listen to me with patience and answered all my concerns. I was very emotional at that time concerning my pregnancy and hoping my baby is doing well inside me. They all were very polite a supportive. Thank you so much 🙏

We delivered our daughter here and I would like to recognize our nurse Joe in labor and delivery. He was so attentive and empathetic. He provided me the best nursing care out of all the nurses I had during my labor here. He is a true asset to this hospital and all of his patients!! They are lucky to have him as was I :)

Mixed feelings. Hard to give a review on the whole hospital as I had some good encounters but others very disappointing. My son is type one diabetic was admitted into acute care and not one diabetes doctor came by. We were left with untrained doctors that didn't have a clue about diabetes. I drove almost 2 hours assuming they had the knowledge and the staff to carefully care for my son which wasn't true. I'm very upset no one had any clue about his condition and not one specialist gave us the time of day. I guess we will be driving 3 hours to LA to City of Hope where they actually have specialist and a care team. 👎

Just horrible first time here brought my 9 month old in for drowsiness and restless from falling off a bed and been here for 4 hours and was told couldn’t give a wait time haven’t seen a pediatrician or called to the back so I ended up leaving taking my baby somewhere else to get seen crew is horrible no way all these babies should be waiting hours and hours specially if they have head trauma …. Makes no sense to come to the emergency for an emergency and not get no help at all I seen 4 babies come by ambulance and end up in the same waiting room what kind of joke is this ? If I could give negative stars I would .

I had a horrible experience with loma linda nicu department. My baby was born premie and was in their facility for 6 weeks . I was their everyday bed side with my child until she was released and was treated as if I never came. They also rushed her discharge and messed up her insurance. Things that I have to fix and it’s been a hassle. I will not be taking my daughter back there at all.

I highly recommend this hospital. My son has undergone two surgeries at the Loma Linda children hospital. Both experiences displayed how amazing their staff are. From the receptionist to the nurse , to the anesthesiologist and the doctors, all of them were kind, helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. Honestly this hospital was perfect in every way. I would drive from miles away to give my child the care of this hospital provides.

Really disappointed in my experience here. I’m a first time mom who delivered here, I will start off with my experience with labor and delivery. Labor and delivery unit was amazing, nurses and doctors were kind, compassionate and overall great. I ended up having an emergency c section and it was handled well and I’m incredibly thankful they were able to get my daughter here safely. Now….my issue lies with the experience after that, the postpartum/mother baby unit was absolutely awful! The experience broke my heart. My room was never stocked with any supplies, no diapers, no wipes, no sanitary pads, no hand sanitizer, no puppy pads. Nurses would come in and acknowledge “this is the room with no supplies” and still do nothing about it. I thought maybe they were having a supply shortage and limiting what they gave but it turns out it was blatant negligence. I even had to ask for my bed sheets to be replaced, they never took the initiative to do so. When I asked about a shower the nurse looked at my husband and said “Can you do it?” as if it was an inconvenience to her. The lactation consultant never came to visit my room until the last day of my stay despite of my countless request so I was left to figure out breastfeeding on my own (painfully) leaving my newborn under her birth weight. Thank god my husband basically did the nurses jobs for them, he showered me and took care of everything where they lacked. An emergency c section is already a traumatic event on its own, so the lack of care I received really adds insult to injury. It saddens me that this is how I’ll remember my first birth and I definitely could not nor will not ever recommend loma Linda to anyone or be a patient here ever again.

I just delivered my first baby here and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The nurses and doctors were so kind, caring and played such a big part not only getting me through labor but also recovery. I'll never forget this experience and how each of them helped me through it!

Around a week ago I delivered my first child here. I live 1hr and 30 min away and have a lot of history with this hospital starting with the fact when I was 2 months old I was hospitalized at Loma Linda. Throughout my entire pregnancy, I would drive the 1hr to be treated and was diagnosed with Hyperemesis my 3rd month. It’s amazing how this hospital caught it and my hometown medical staff did not. Nevertheless, my OB had recommended I’d deliver at Loma Linda due to my baby measuring small and I’m so glad I made the decision. That same day I was admitted, I gave birth and the staff was amazing to me and my fiancé. I wish I knew their names to thank them each one by one for their help and walk through of the entire process. If I ever decide to have another child I definitely would come back. Also the staff was obsessed with my son and how tiny he is and took extremely care of us. Never once have I had a bad experience with them.

If I can give this hospital 0 stars I would. What’s the point of coming to this hospital when they do absolutely nothing. I took my two month old recently because he is very congestion, coughs really bad with flame to the point that he chokes and turns red with other symptoms. Not only did I let the nurse know all this when they checked us in it took a doctor 6 hours to see us and to say that we were already inside waiting and not even in a room but the hallway. And when the doctor came to us didn’t even check him correctly she just tells me that my baby is congested but that he seems fine 😱. 6 hours I was there to get told something I already knew 😑. My baby is very sick he’s had a fever, vomit, and eyes constantly are watery since that visit. This hospital sucks and is extremely disappointing. I rather go to another hospital instead of this one because they do absolutely nothing. My baby is two months old and all these symptoms mean nothing to them is extremely meaningless to come here. This hospital needs to work on their staff, time, and just have a better protocol. And you know what’s even funny is that we were right in front of a room that apparently there was a son of a nurse who works there and they took care of him right away they got attended not by 1 but 2 doctors. I even heard one doctor who was a older lady say” if I would’ve known you were here I would’ve came right away” like seriously how is that okay. I guess this hospital has priorities and that really sucks. Be better loma Linda because I wouldn’t be surprised when someone throws a lawsuit at you guys for the poor quality of service. And you know what’s worser than that there was a little boy who was brought by ambulance and it’s assumed that he should’ve been seen first they threw him out to the waiting room like damn what hospital is this. Never coming here again

The Loma Linda pediatric diabetes clinic always takes care of my sinus to the best of their ability. Anytime he has ever been hospitalized due to his diabetes. They have been on top of it and have never made him wait and they're waiting room. The clinic staff is always kind and is always understanding. They are constantly taking my questions whether it be in person or a phone call and I would recommend it to any family.

Everybody who took care of my child and saw or spoke to her were fantastic! Every one of the nurses, doctors, surgeons, students, and everyone else are amazing! We appreciate everything they do/did. They were always on it with her and made sure the parents were taken care of as well, it made her experience at the hospital so much smoother including us. A huge thank you to everyone who interacted with us and her. You all are amazing, God bless every one of them!

Kp member. Visited loma linda children's hospital emergency room. Walking in the environment is a complete 360 compared to kp. The staff here is so nice. The whole experience from triage to the care received from the hospital staff was very pleasant. Such a great hospital. Provided top tier patient care services to my daughter. Glad my daughters pcp recommended this emergency room. The lobby is one of the cleanest hospital I've visited. Friendly staff you can tell they are actually happy to be at work. Not short staffed.

We had the best experience for our 6yr old son who needed emergency dental surgery. From the moment we got there after our transfer from another hospital, they really made my family and I feel at ease. The doctors, nurses, staff, security, and even the maintenance staff were all so kind, helpful, and amazing human beings. Everything was explained to us step by step and they were so patient with my husband when he had many questions, which was obviously understandable. I am so thankful for this hospital and everyone who works there. My son said it’s his favorite hospital, because they were nice, took care of him, and had toys to play with lol. They truly think about the kids!

Giving one star because the nurses were polite. However, lets talk about the delay of care and how the Drs can careless about ones loved one. Today my nephew was brought to the ER for STAT MRI with and order from his physician ( which if the order was written STAT there are concerns; my nephew was brought to this ER because this is where his physician sent him ). However it was stated they do not take written orders as they don’t write written orders any more per DR Benjamin Herzel. My nephew has had seizure activity last night, he didn’t not see a neurologist. I ask Dr Benjamin, Why the head MRI couldn’t be done? per his words is it not indicated, even though, we had stated concerns for head injury and this is a 7 year old who could have banged his head anywhere in school or when not supervised. However he said this not a concern when it comes to seizure. I said you do understand you’re delaying care, he said unfortunately that’s the way healthcare works. I asked 4 four times if he was okay with delaying care and he said there is no indications for MRI of head. The bigger picture here is DELAY OF CARE. He stated if he has another seizure bring him back ( most like he will as anti epileptics were not given). No blood work was done to see if it was just electrolyte disbalance and we can avoid coming back and forth for the same issue and obviously my nephew having to experience another seizure. I said you do understand that if further care is needed within 24 hours we are not going through insurance as delaying care and refusing care is your hospitals fault/DR Benjamin Herzel, he said I guess. This is just one patient I cannot imagine how many lives can be saved if delay of care was not an issue in American. Dr Benjamin we are the healthcare system.

We have been seen at Loma Linda since my grandsons 1st open heart surgery at age 11 months. At age 9 he needed a heart transplant. We are 3 years post TX. Our experience here has been beyond our expectations. All the staff are professional and personal with our care. We are treated like family. We love our transplant team!

Loma linda University Health has been such a blessing to my little family. From fertility treatments to pediatric care, we have received excellent care with every encounter. Dr Bareh and staff (Nurse Angie and other nurses) were excellent. They help make my husband and I's dreams come into fruition. From the get go Dr Bareh and staff has shown us compassion and empathy as we navigated our fertility journey and with their capable care we are blessed with our son. Outpatient Maternity care at Loma Linda was also vital in easing my worries during pregnancy and ensuring our then unborn son's health. I truly appreciate the Outpatient Maternity team for showing us what excellent care is. I want to thank Dr White, Dr Fegale, NP Buell, NP Hudson and NP Hobson and staff for providing me education wtih every visit, taking time in answering my questions and for noting any changes to my pregnancy status. I also want to thank Kassandra for her timely response and quick assistance with any EDD inquiry I had. Thank you Kassandra for easing my burden as I prepared to welcome my child and now taking time to care for my child postpartum. Having not to worry if we are able to pay the bills was a huge relief since Kassandra was on top of things. During the course of my pregnancy, I had to utilize L&D triage and needless to say the Triage staff was amazing in addressing my concerns. Unfortunately I cannot recall the names of the amazing nurses and providers who took care of me and checked on my baby when we visited. Thank you for hearing out my worries and for providing reassurance with your words and your care that my baby was doing well. LLU Maternity (L&D and postpartum) truly was a blessing. Staff from the cafeteria personnel, CNA, Nurses and Providers were heaven sent. My labor and delivery experience was the best I could hope for. The providers and nurses took their time to listen and my nurse Brittany advocated for me during my stay. Nurse Esthefany who took over for night shift helped deliver my beautiful boy into this world. I am so thankful for her vigilance in monitoring the fetal heart rate and calling in Dr Kositsawat in a timely manner to deliver baby safely. I want to say thank you to Dr Kositsawat and AM shift provider (I forgot her name :(..) for providing education on the risks and benefits with every intervention so I was able to make appropriate decisions during my labor and delivery. Thank you also to the anesthesiologist whom I cannot recall his name but shared that he just welcomed his beautiful baby girl Emma. Thank you doctor! & to the other anesthesiologist who provided guidance during my epidural. Thank you both for being so caring and capable. Postpartum staff was great in providing my husband and I guidance was we cared for our newborn. Thank you for being so patient with us. Thank you lactation team for the education you shared. And now my baby is being seen my outpatient pediatrician Dr Smit and we have received excellent care thus far. Lastly, massive shoutout to the outpatient lab technicians and phlebotomists.. No matter how busy they get they always greet you so warmly and they also get my labs drawn on the first attempt! I'm always impressed every time!

Took my 3 yr old daughter here a few days ago to the childrens ER and from the minute we got there we were take care of. The whole staff made her a priority and even brought toys and crafts to keep her happy throughout the whole night. I was so overwhelmed and stressed but the staff did such an amazing job taking care of her and getting her the medical care she needed that night. My baby keeps asking me to take her back to “ the doctors” ❤️

I not even going to waste more time writing a review? Who’s Terry I hope this terry person does care about the complaints for this hospital, currently waiting 2 hrs and going on 30 more minutes. Horrible receptionists . Maybe one cares the other lady nope. They are understaffed the doctors are great but the customer service can do better. Last time I’m bringing my children here. Won’t recommend its, definitely my last time here. Update I am currently at Choc and they found what was wrong with my baby ! Seriously this hospital let my daughter walk out in pain ! They are a disappointment! I will definitely document this and share my experience here! Call the patient number and they say they are unavailable! What a JOKE

The absolute BEST hospital experience any parent could ask for! Our daughter was taken to the Loma Linda ER (which was full) and we were processed and in front of the doctor super quick. Following the CT scan (that her primary refused to order) we were rushed to Loma Linda Children's hospital in Redlands. There our daughter received THE BEST POSSIBLE CARE and we cannot thank the entire hospital staff enough! Hearing your child needs surgery is so scary and to have a team of medical professionals there to hold your hand through the process means more than they’ll ever know 💕

I just delivered here a week ago. Delivery and most the nurses were amazing. I was treated amazing. Had a great delivery. The doctors were very nice and came by to check in atleast once a day. But i found no reasoning behind why my daughter couldn't come and meet her new sister and had to wait until we got home. If sibling/minor is living in the same home and going to be around the baby all the time why can't they come into the post partum room to meet their sibling? I got told because of COVID(this makes no sense to me if a kid is wearing a mask like an adult does and washes their hands like an adult does). It would have been the most amazing experience if it wasn't for that. My daughter was crying and so was I, it was heart breaking she lost out on that experience. She was supposed to be the first to see the new baby and that was taken away from her and from our family. Also it states online 24/7 visiting except for certain hours and I was told that is a no.

Loma Linda Hospital is awesome! The doctors and nurses are Fabulous! I appreciate that they really care for the patients! I wish I could use them always! I had no problems with the nurses and they helped me with everything! Other hospitals I've been in recently, the nurses we're not nice at all, left my husband 3 days no change of bedding or gown and he spilled food and drink cause he needed help with feeding time. Paralyzed on left side. He tried so hard to help himself. I choose Loma Linda everytime!

I just delivered my baby there 12/02/2022 I had such an AMAZING experience I couldn’t believe it. My husband and mom even said the same thing, everyone took such good care of me with such compassion they made me feel like we were family. Everyone was SO on top of everything I didn’t even have any questions because everyone was keeping me informed throughout my whole stay and actual labor. From my nurses and doctors all the way to birth certificate staff and everyone in between was amazing. To whoever from Loma Linda reads this can you please inform me how to find the names of everyone (especially my nurses in the labor room) or what else I can do to personally thank them? Thank you!

My daughter Leilah Velasquez 11/15/11 had her tonsils and adenoids removed by Dr. Olee here at this hospital. This was just yesterday, but I felt a strong need to write a review as soon as possible to share my pleasant experience. I had never been to this hospital let alone the Loma Linda area. I reside in Montclair, about 30-40 minutes away. So I had no idea what I was in for. From the minute we walked into the hospital we were greeted by a few friendly faces happy to point us in the right direction. It is a huge hospital/area and there are parts that are under construction but there was always someone around to guide you. From the prep surgery staff Christine and Julie who were so sweet an helpful, to the child life coach who talked to my child to help her understand what she was going through and helped her feel more at ease. (The Teddybear story was a great idea, wait till your kids see it, they offer an Ipad so they can play games, watch movies etc while they wait to be taken back, really helped relax her )to the recovery team which I am so sad that I cannot read the recovery nurse's name on the sweet card they gave to my Leilah signing it personally saying how great she did so I can give him praise on here on how great he cared for her when she came out of surgery. He made sure she was comfortable and made her smile. He even offered me coffee which was much appreciated after a long day. I hope whoever reads this from the hospital can look us up and see who that was and let him know we appreciated him and he really should be praised. He is an exceptional asset to this company. It is because of people like him and everyone we made contact with that day, this visit was less scary and enjoyable. And you always hear the negative, but hardly hear the positive. I highly recommend this hospital and would refer my family and friends. Thank you LLUCH!!!

I just had my baby on 9.5. It was 24hrs total. Being there before he finally came. They didnt push for a csection even though he was 9.4oz which I appreciate All doctors and nurses were absolutely amazing and helpful I would just say that there was 1 point that the new nurse was uping my potocine without communicating with me which really sucked...and reminder this is a teaching hospital so you will likely have more than 10 people in the room while in labor but there were 2 drs that took the lead when they seen fit ..overall happy with Loma Linda rm 550
