Absolutely gorgeous, the water is so clear you can see straight to the bottom with no problem, which I live because I'm not a huge lake or large body water swimmer if I cant see the bottom. I had done with my cross country team as a camping trip and we saw a wedding happen as well, which is so cute because you have the bright clear blue lake and the mountains in the background which makes for a great picture. The water was cold but what can you expect when the mountains with snow melt and flow into there. Highly recommend going there if you are in the area.

Beautiful place to walk along the paved beach path. Dock for boats and fun place to jump off. Picnic tables shaded under large pines, Paddle boarding and kayak rentals

Absolutely beautiful! Kids and I had a blast in the water a few weeks ago. More sandy beaches further to the left shoreline.

The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.

An absolutely lovely beach, with rocks of various sizes to enjoy. Situated just beside a forest of large trees, it’s best to go way before sunset since the direct sunlight gets lost behind the trees & hill earlier than you’d expect. A peaceful place in the spring, with few people out there in a weekday and not many more on a Saturday afternoon.

Wowowowowow what a wonderful place. Clear water, no North Lake scuzzies, and it’s generally pretty quiet. Maybe we should keep it that way. Actually, don’t come here. Lots of kids, lots of families, but not in a bad way. There’s a good bit of beach and it wasn’t too hard to find our own secluded spot. There are paddle board and kayak rentals, but I’m sure that they go at standard Tahoe rates.

Such a beautiful park. There needs to be more access to restrooms and easier directions to get to the water. The park is kept clean. Lots of chipmunks stealing food in the area. Dogs are not welcome in the water you will incur a 1000$ fine. Most of the beach areas have sand and plenty of places to explore. They also have an area you can rent a permit to do weddings and events.

So beautiful, we want to get married at the gazebo. Wonderful nature walks in the woods and along the lake. Not busy at all when we went.

If you walk straight along the asphalt road from the parking lot, you can see the wide blue lake sky and the wonderful scenery.

I've been going to Tahoe since the 70's. I only discovered this place a few years ago. It's by far the best place to spend a day enjoying the lake. But don't tell anyone....
