Was there last weekend of July and like most, I was there for a Bachelor party. Our Captain was rad (sorry forgot her name). She knew all of the cool spots to stop, take a dip and take a few shots to satisfy our social media appetite. It was fun, she kept us safe and I highly recommend Lake Tahoe Boat rides

This boat ride was the best activity I did with my family on our vacation. It was a wonderful experience, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Captain Kevin was very professional and supportive and made us feel very comfortable for the two-hour boat tour. If you're looking for a great time in South Lake Tahoe, this is a must activity. We rented this boat for 15 people for a bachelorette and everyone had an absolute blast! The boat is just perfect for a dance party on the water. Our captain Greg and first mate John were fantastic - they were both professional and fun, making sure everyone had a good time, while keeping everyone safe. They took us to a swimming cove and we all got to jump off the top of the boat. Could not recommend more!

I had initially booked a boat rental on Boatsetter and my trip was canceled due to maintenance issues. I later called Lake Tahoe Boat Rides, and I was SO GLAD my initial boat rental was canceled. It not only ended up being more affordable, but the experience was incredible, the boat was larger and more beautiful. We felt safer working with a local company, and our captain – Tommy was kind and knowledgeable of the area. Could not recommend doing this enough if you're spending a few days around the lake with your family!

Great tour of the South and Southwest portion of the lake. They go all through Emerald Bay to show you a different perspective than you would get from the shore. Captain Scotty was our guide/ captain and he was informative while also being hilarious. It was nice that they brought blankets also as it was very cold that day. My daughter said the sunset cruise was the highlight of her trip!

I booked a boat same-day for a group of 9. We had a fantastic time on the lake with Captain Kevin. He is very knowledgeable on the history of Lake Tahoe and knows all the cool spots. I found it very easy to book with Lake Tahoe Boat Rides. They were very patient and kind in answering all my questions over the phone. Highly recommend booking with them!

We had the BEST time with Captain Wolf! The service and experience were worth every penny: they had everything we needed to have a great boat trip and Captain Wolf made sure we were safe and having a blast. Couldn’t recommend enough! He knew the best places to take us for each moment of our trip including a warm, calm spot for swimming, Emerald Bay for our picnic, and sunset views coziest up in blankets. This will be a memory we all keep for a lifetime.

We had a great outing with Captain Scottie on 5/21! Weather cooperated well and despite the chilly air we had a great time. The captain was really knowledgeable and passionate about Lake Tahoe and it’s history, answered all our questions and was very accommodating!

I had the most wonderful experience from start to finish. I spoke with Lindsay prior to my trip to ask a few questions. She allowed me to extend my trip for an extra hour. So happy that I did. Originally I booked a two hour trip. Now extended to a three hour. Best decision ever. I would of done even more if I knew how amazing it would be. Heather was my captain. Wow. She was amazing. Went above and beyond my expectations. She was personal, accommodating to say the least, and so knowledgeable. She honestly made the trip. Thank you Heather! I tell everyone that know to ask for you! This boat tour was just amazing. The views are beautiful and you get to see so much of Lake Tahoe in a short amount of time! I got engaged on this boat tour and our tour guide Tommy helped my boyfriend find the most perfect spot! We truly had such a great experience

Had a great experience with Lake Tahoe Boat Rides and Captain Heather! Rented a boat for 3 hours with my family, had plenty of time for swimming, tubing, and sight seeing. Stopped in Emerald Bay and near D.L. Bliss to swim in the beautiful clear water. Heather was knowledgeable and fun to hang out with, knew the lake well. Boat was beautiful, safe and clean. Highly recommend!

What a great, worthwhile experience we had on Lake Tahoe with Captain Dan! We were a group of four adults interested in sightseeing and water toys, and he helped us strike the perfect balance of both. On our three-hour tour (insert Gilligan Island theme song here), Captain Dan shared his wealth of knowledge in geology and history, and then ended the morning with swimming and tubing, It was a relaxing and thrilling day that exceeded our expectations. Don't be dissuaded from booking by the mandatory "tip" upon reservation. Captain Dan was worth that and then some. Thanks for a great morning on the lake!

Wonderful Experience ! I originally reside in New Jersey and was visiting California on a short Vacation. As I was wondering what I could do in terms of exploring the city I came across the wonderful Lake Tahoe. I reserved the Lake Tahoe Boat Ride and was guided and escorted by the wonderful Captain Scotty! He made it a point to share some interesting insights about the history and background about the beautiful Lake as well as took us to the most famous spots along the Lake. Wonderful once in a life time experience, would highly recommend !

I wish we could leave a 7/5 star rating! We recently attended a boat ride for my friends bachelorette party, and it was one of the highlights of our entire vacation!! Captain Tommy Gray and the entire team at Lake Tahoe Boat Rides went above and beyond for our group! Two days before our reservation, they noticed some rainy weather in the forecast so they bumped up our reservation. On the day of our ride, when the bummer clouds were approaching Captain Tommy chose a route that kept us in the sunshine for some super scenic spots and captured some incredible pictures along the way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our Experience with them was really good ! We were a group of 8 ppl ! The boat ride was around 2 hours captain took us to different beautiful spots and he was friendly , took some nice pictures too 😉

We had a terrific time. Lake Tahoe, especially this year is just simply stunning with the melting snowpack. Captain Steve was super friendly, explaining things we never knew all through the two hour ride and took us to the best parts. The deep blue and Emerald green water was exactly how I remember it 25 years ago.

Booked a boat tour for a Bach party. Looked at the weather forecast and it was supposed to rain the day we were scheduled. Called the day before to see about going then for better weather. They switched with no hesitation (obviously if they were completely booked they couldn’t) but was a great experience all the way through. Captain Tommy fit in with the vibe perfectly for our group and couldn’t have asked for a better time on the lake!

Captian Dan was fabulous! He showed us the hidden gems! Even angling the boat for spectacular views as well as very friendly and knowledgeable of the history and geology of the Lake. My kids favorite part was tubing and Captian Dan was safe and skilled! Super appreciate the great photographs, thanks Captian! We enjoyed the experience and highly recommend Lake Tahoe Boat Rides.

Lake Tahoe Boat Rides was absolutely the best choice for being on the lake. Captain Dan was fantastic. He literally carried my disabled mom on to the boat. He was an encyclopedia of information on the lake's origin and history and had an awesome personality. The best part, it was just our family on the boat enjoying the day. I highly recommend LTBR.

We did the 3 hours sightseeing and watersport tour, and our experience was even more amazing than we expected it to be! Captain Tommy was very knowledgable about the area and shared with us many interesting facts about the lake. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we need on the boat. The highlight of our tour was definitely the water tubing - it was suuuuper fun! Overall a very memorable experience, and we’d recommend it to anyone coming to Lake Tahoe. Thanks Captain Tommy!

We stumbled here on a whim hoping we could get on a boat for the afternoon, we got so lucky!! This place is amazing! So easy to work with and so accommodating, but the best part was captain Steve!! His knowledge and passion for Lake Tahoe was astounding. We were truly eager to learn everything he could teach us! 10/10

Captain Greg and John helped make our visit to Tahoe truly amazing. We toured Emerald Bay with our family during a reunion in Tahoe. They were so friendly and knew everything about the area. They shared so many fun and interesting facts with our group, pointed out local wildlife, shared stories about Hank the Tank (local bear), and offered a great amount of knowledge. They interacted with our group and we shared a lot of laughs. They made everyone feel safe and relaxed and we were very grateful for their tremendous amount of experience on the water. You can really see how much they enjoy doing what they do. We’re already looking forward to our next boating experience in Tahoe and I hope they are there when we return. We are sincerely thankful for Captain Greg and John for making our trip special, and not only providing a phenomenal experience, but also creating a beautiful memory we will cherish forever.

We had an awesome outing with Captain Dan. He was very knowledgeable and is clearly an expert boat driver. He was very accommodating to what our group wanted to get out of our day. He took us to Emerald Bay, a quiet little swimming cove with beautiful turquoise water, had some fun tubing and were also able to squeeze in a cliff jump. The boat was very clean and easily fit our group of 6 comfortably. Would definitely do this again!
