Delicious authentic Ukranian food! Definitely recommend the pierogis and stuffed cabbage!

Came here for my birthday with a friend on a weeknight. I'd never had Ukrainian food before so we tried several things (I can't recall the Ukrainian names). Started with the mushroom crepes, the cheese pie in the flaky crust and the shrimp appetizer. All three were fantastic. I had the chicken kebob with rice as my entree. I was so full I took most of it home and enjoyed it for lunch the next day. My friend couldn't have onion so the chef prepared a special dinner for them. We also had the crepes with strawberry filling for dessert. Our waitress was sweet and very patient explaining the food and ingredients. I'm looking forward to going again and trying different things.

My adoptive father is Polish. My fianceé is from Ukraine. I am Russian. So when we found out there was a Ukrainian restaurant so close, of course we had to try it! We ordered the stuffed cabbage, pelmeni, chicken Shishkabob with rice, goulash, and fish jerky snack. The portions were large, the meals were tasty and filling, and the food was pretty authentic. We usually eat Eastern European food often, but due to the virus, my mother-in-law hasn't been able to visit us and grace us with her incredible, homemade food. This definitely filled the void. We will certainly return to Zabava's.

Zabava is the only place I’ve found in New Jersey that provides true, authentic Ukrainian food! Everything was delicious! Highly recommend the chebureki & the stuffed cabbage!

Outstanding! Our family enjoys authentic ethnic food and this Ukrainian cuisine is first rate. All meals are homemade and filled with flavor. Generous portions. The prices are more than fair as all dishes appear to be made from scratch and authenticly homemade. Our meals were "to go" and packaged perfectly for transport home. Our next visit will be "dine in". The interior decor is beautiful. This restaurant is also a banquet facility. Our order was taken by a friendly and competant young lady who answered the phone. All around excellent experience! Highly recommend!

Our wedding reception was here on 06/17. Wow, where do I even begin! Atmosphere: Starting from the outside, the clay pots on a wicker fence create a traditional and rural look. There is a comfy amount of parking. Other Ukrainian venues being in Brooklyn and Manhattan, this is coveted. Behind the establishment are all lush trees and mountains. Outdoor seating is there to enjoy. There is a room for cocktail hour that feels like you are in an authentic Ukrainian home in the countryside. The banquet hall is elegant with chandeliers. French double doors let the sunlight stream in with the greenery vibrant in the background. The bar is spacious with bar stools where guests can choose to lounge. Service: Anya was always prompt to respond to emails. She never left questions unanswered. She guided me through the kitchen timeline, and at the same time, she listened to how I wanted my timeline. Svetlana also really listens while giving her expertise. She gives you the sense that she truly cares about your day. Both are patient and an absolute pleasure to work with. The servers are genuinely inviting and warm. They are also attentive and timely. DJ Teren is just super. Food: The food is served family style, which helps people bond. Photos are from cocktail hour and cold appetizers alone. The food is incredible. When people say the food is fresh… the first thing that hits you is the steamy aroma of the hot dish. The presentation of every dish is pleasing to the eye. The borscht was vegetarian and so flavorful. People love pierogies. The potatoes were playfully mushroom shaped and tasty. The roast pork was succulent and the lamb kabobs were juicy. I only wish I was able to eat more that day. Hee hee.

Absolutely delicious Ukrainian foods! One of the best chicken kebab I have ever had.The food is exceptional. Everything was so fresh and tasty. They came and set up quickly without any hassle. I hope next year we have them again.

The food was absolutely amazing. I would expect Guy Fieri and the Food Network to show up any day. The salads were garden fresh, the soup & entrees perfect. If this was a restaurant and not just a banquet hall, it would be my favorite!

Just came back from a delicious dinner at Zabava. The staff was so gracious and the food is delicious! Our party of five had the kielbasa chips, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa, pierogies, goulash and pelmeni and all were cooked perfectly. The dessert crepes and cake were also good. We had an hour drive to get here but it was worth it. Can’t wait to go back!

Food and service was great, kielbasa was superb! Our waitress was very attentive. Need to go back to try some other items on the menu. That was our 1st time there.

Friendly service, nice decor and authentic Ukrainian & Polish menu with nightly specials. I had the Bigos (kielbasa & sauerkraut) which came with pierogi's, a small salad & a roast potato. Everything was fresh and tasty.

We recently had a family-style dinner catered by Zabava at an Airbnb and we were blown away by how amazing it was! The team at Zabava helped me put together the perfect menu for my event. They were always available to answer any questions we had and even set up a call to ensure that everything was aligned. The food was delivered on time and the table was beautifully set up. The team helped us with table setting and their attention to detail was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the cossack table along with a few other main dishes. My family and I were impressed by the generous portions, and even though we thought we tried everything, we kept discovering new dishes on the table. The food was presented on beautiful Ukrainian ceramic dishes, making it a feast for both the stomach and the eyes. We highly recommend Zabava’s catering services! They truly made our event unforgettable.
