Absolutely awful! I want to warn people that if your loved one needs actual care and help DO NOT put them here. My aunt has dementia and suffered over a dozen falls that required hospital visits, yet NOONE saw anything. They lost her walker, lost 75% of her clothes, she lost over 70 pounds being here yet no one could bother to help her eat. I would show up and she would be sitting at the table with a full plate food that she didn’t know how to eat! We didn’t see her for so long because of covid so it was a shock when we realized how bad it was. She cannot communicate so that was the worst part. Her toenails were so long they curled under her feet! She was never cleaned properly and would be sitting in her own urine. In the dining hall, there would be 25 residents, all needing help and 2 workers!!! How is that safe?? We were paying $5500 a month for her to be treated like an animal! We are in the process of hiring a lawyer. Even after all that, they continued to take money out of her account that they refuse to refund us! It’s disgusting the way our seniors are treated. I thought a place that cost that much would take care of her. 😞 I’ve attached a photo of her toenails after we removed her.

Finding a place to care for a loved one with Dementia is a very hard thing to do. I knew the minute that I walked through the doors of Inspired Living at Sun City Center, this was the place my mom would call home. The facility itself is absolutely gorgeous. It looks and feels like a home. The dining hall looks like a fine dining establishment and the food is well presented and very tasty. The rooms are spacious and the additional living areas between every few rooms are very cozy and have well thought out pieces that the residents find comforting. The staff are amazing! I cannot say enough good things about them. They know their residents not only by name but they know their families as well as what is "normal" for them. I received a call once stating my mom was not acting as she normally did and they felt she needed to go to the ER. Sure enough, mom had a fever and spent a couple days in the hospital. With this disease there are some "bad" days. When my mom was having a rough day they knew that chocolate would make her smile and would make sure that if I had not restocked her drawer yet, they would find something to make her smile. As my mom started to take her final journey, I watched these ladies care for MY mom as they would take care of their own. When my mom passed away, they grieved right along with me. She was never a "patient" or a "resident" to them, she was Dolores, widow of John, mother of Jill and grandma to Robin and Greg. They loved my mom, this is what sets them apart from other facilities. It is a very hard decision to make when your loved one needs care, but this place is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Terrible if you hate this person send them here don’t believe anything they tell you, we made surprise stops little to no care to any of the residents. Found some sitting on the floor in the dining room, went to get my sister out of there found feces on her recliner then wheeled her to the car stood her up she was sitting in pee got her to her new place they showered her because of her odor, then we were notified she has open sores that went untreated. You to can have this for only $5100 month

My father recently was “kicked out” of an assisted living facility in Sun City Center due to his behaviors associated with his dementia. He was labeled as aggressive and was medicated so severely that he was barely coherent. My father leaving that assisted living was the biggest blessing for him and my family. Within 3 days of his moving into Inspired Living we were already beginning to see great changes in him as he was much more alert. It has been not quite a month and his is walking independently, they have weaned his medications. He is now happy, laughing, engaging with other residents, enjoying every day with his family. He has had no aggression since the moment he moved in. I’ve been able to bring him out to lunch and can enjoy my sweet dad again. I cannot stress enough how Inspired Living saved my father’s life as well as made him thrive! I would recommend to everyone who has a loved one needing memory care to look no where else! You cannot find a more loving, compassionate, knowledgeable assisted living who treat their residents with the dignity and patience they deserve. Thank you to all of the staff and caregivers at Inspired Living you have saved my dad’s life! My family will be forever grateful to you all! ❤️

My wife had an excellent experience at Inspired Living Sun City Center. The facility is very nice, always clean, and the staff is top-notch - very professional, thoughtful and caring. The facility is small enough for staff to know everybody and understand their needs, but large enough to meet those needs.

We recently put my husband’s mom here to live in the memory care unit. We were highly impressed from day one. When we moved her in,Leo from Maintenance helped with moving furniture. Leo keeps the place flawless. The young ladies who take care of the residents in memory care (like Kethia) are very hard working and attentive to the residents. We have been impressed whenever we visit. Leo is a good face for the company representing Inspired Living and the company is lucky to have so many valuable and hardworking employees.

After coming to the depressing realization that my mother was not so much being cared for as much as she was being warehoused in the memory care facility in which she was residing, I wondered if there was some way she could be provided with better care. I did some research and came upon Inspired Living, which led to my connecting with their Marketing Director, Luisa Fulla, about what Inspired Living would offer my mom that was different from my mom's current situation, or any other memory care unit. Luisa gave me many assurances that Inspired Living offered so much more for their residents than other memory care facilities. But this was a salesperson, and I didn't know what to believe. At that point, based on my experiences, I was more than a little burned out by the assisted Living industry. Also, Inspired Living had an a la carte system for additional services, so I envisioned being in another bad situation with potentially more fees. But then I went back to visit my mom at her facility and really saw it for what it was...a grim, very locked down environment, care givers who seemed remote, and an environment that seemed toxic in almost every way. I threw caution to the wind and got my mom out of that place and had her transferred to Inspired Living. Wow, wow and wow, what a difference Inspired Living made. A Mr White offered some very welcome help during the move-in, something that that never would have happened at the other place. The food was fantastic. The a la carte service was not a problem. The people associated with Inspired Living were amazingly great--every one of them. Overall, on top of all the great things I discovered about Inspired Living, what I grew to really appreciate was that somehow they allowed my mom, in the throes of dementia and in need of real care, to get the care she absolutely needed while at the same time experiencing a life that was, for her, full and relevant. At Inspired Living, my mom went from being uncharacteristically withdrawn to being the best version of herself that she could be, getting to the point where she was once again competitive and even laughing at times. No small feat. Everything she lacked at the other facility, she was receiving at Inspired Living. In sum, if I had to do it all over again, the ONLY place I would trust with my mother's care is Inspired Living.

My mother has been at Inspired Living Sun City for approximately 5months now. We had her in Grand Villa St Pete for 1.5months prior & it was a nightmare. I Cannot say enough good things about Inspired Living! Charlie & the whole crew are beyond AMAZING. The care my mother gets is Top Notch, between activities, food, the ability to have freedom to walk outside, enjoy the property, gazebos etc. She calls this her home & is HAPPY!! It’s hard watching our loved ones suffer from ahlzheimers/dementia, and what a Huge Relief to find a facility that actually loves your loved ones & treats them with the respect & love you would. THANK YOU INSPIRED LIVING

The staff and directors here are phenomenal. They are hands-on involved with the care and well-being of all of their clientele. They are very caring, kind, compassionate and responsive to me whenever I have a question or ask about needs for my mom. They are proactive in their care and the place is very clean. I have been very impressed with the care and attention that my mother has received. I highly recommend this to anyone seeking kind, compassionate and customized care for memory-care needs.

Looked at 4 different places for my mom and this one was by far the nicest/newest one. Memory care certainly isn't like a typical retirement community. It's far more challenging and when we finally realized it was time, it was a very intimidating process. Was this the right thing to do? How does it work? I felt awful about the whole thing. Inspired Living made it easier. They explained the process, gave us the tour and were honest about some of the challenges that come with long term memory care. Mom has been there since the summer and has adjusted nicely. In these times of "its hard to find good help" the Sun City location where my mom lives seems like they have a very caring and engaged staff. There are constant activities to keep the residents occupied and engaged, there are also cameras everywhere and the security needed to keep the residents safe seems like it's exactly where it needs to be. There's nothing harder than putting a loved one in to a long term care facility, especially someone with a 10 second long memory, but I'm happy my mom is doing well here and happy we chose Inspired Living in Sun City Center.

Prior to moving mom from NJ to FL, I contacted ten facilities, visited three, and decided on Inspired Living in Sun City Center. I am pleased with this very difficult decision in finding the right place for mom. All the facilities had similar programs and eager staff to welcome residents, but I found that this facility was kept cleaner and in good repair. Inspired Living cares for those who need memory care, which is incredibly hard work because the residents are in all stages of memory loss. For those residents who are able, they have the freedom to walk around the facility and go outdoors as they wish. The staff answers all my 100+ monthly questions and keeps me informed. For instance, during Hurricane Ian, telephone calls went out to all contacts letting us know that they did not lose power, staff remained onsite during the 24-hour treacherous travel time and kept the residents entertained so they didn’t worry about the danger. If the power would have gone out, they have a generator and food enough for three days. Staff is also receptive to my suggestions. For instance, I found some volunteers through AARP who come to visit mom periodically. They welcome the volunteers and are actively seeking more helpers. Another suggestion relates to the building, which is in a big U shape. When mom is on the other side of the building, she gets confused at where her room is. It would be nice if one side of the facility was one color and the other side, a different color. If you are looking for a facility to care for a loved one, you must check out Inspired Living in Sun City Center.

I am so impressed with Inspired living sun city. Of all the assisted living facilities I go to make deliveries in this area this one by far is the cleanest. The staff is very nice and the residents all seem to be very happy. I always see them having a good time. The staff is very kind and loving.

I was so impressed with this memory care facility. I came in for a tour Charlie the executive director took the time to show me his facility. It was beautiful. I was most impressed with the staff as we walked around I watched the staff with the residents they where so kind and attentive. I witnessed one of the staff having a conversation with a resident and the resident was so happy. The dining rooms are clean. The residents engaged in activities. The outside courtyard was kept beautifully. Definitely a place I would feel comfortable having my family member make it their home. .

This community is FABULOUS! When you first walk in, you are warmly greeted by the receptionist and it smells good (always a good sign in memory care). The Executive Director is such a peach as well. She was very informative, thoughtful, sincere, and you can tell she genuinely loves and cares for her residents. The care staff are great, too, and take excellent care of all the residents. The community itself is bright and airy and doesn't even come close to feeling "institutional". The food is absolutely wonderful and the dining staff is 5 stars. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for memory car for their loved ones.

My sister Donna has been a resident here for 9 months. I live in NC but try to come every other month to see her, my brother n law, James comes everyday. I am always amazed at the excellent care and especially the compassion the staff shows each patient, they have an extremely hard job but they are always gentle, compassionate and gentle with the patients. James and I are 200% satisfied with her care. Everyone from the Executive Director Charlie and Louisa (Sales) they are always helping out wherever needed to the Medical Staff Yuni and her staff and especially the staff who are always hands on with the patients they are the best!! The facility, including Donna’s room is always spotless and so is she. I cannot express how happy I am for the wonderful care she gets and I know James feels the same way!

As a healthcare professional who works in multiple facilities, I had my tour experience of this facility with Michelle Thomas. The building, amenities, and staff were amazing. They have a kind and caring ED, who truly cares about the residents. On more than a few occasions, I witnessed Michelle break away from her own busy schedule to assist the residents in need. This is definitely a place for your loved ones when they reach that point. I wish I could give Michelle and her team a thousand stars, but 5 is the limit here. Best tour and experience ever!!!!

IL is open but secure. Residents can move around at their leisure, inside and outside. There are planned activities through out the day, everyday. They have spa and salon days, crafts, guess entertainers, chefs, DJs, magicians, movie nights, etc. A great staff, who know all their residents by name. Its like one big family, promoting mind, body, soul, and dignity for their residents.

We love Inspired Living. We brought my father in law down to be close to us and we researched many facilities. With his dementia we wanted a home that kept him active and provided excellent care. We originally had him elsewhere and we moved him to inspired living after month. Inspired living is the correct choice. His clothes and room are always clean. The staff does such an excellent job keeping him engaged and active. We visit often and we take him out to dinner a few times a week. Every time we are out with him after a few hours he tells us he is ready to go back to his home at Inspired Living. It is such a pleasure to know that he is being well cared for at his home. 5 stars for the team. Thank you for all you do!

My brother has been a resident in memory care at Inspired Living Sun City Center for 6 years. I live in NH so I don’t get to visit him as much as I would like. It gives me peace of mind that he is safe, his needs are met, and he appears to have a sense of contentment. After a recent short stay in the hospital, when he returned to Inspired Living, he got into bed and said “ It’s good to be home”. It was the first time that he referred to IL as “ home”. I felt relief and appreciation for his care there.
