I love this place! Full of old world charm. It is a narrow path inside due to all the unique Irish food, clothing, and baked items. The staff are cheerful 😊 and swift with kind words. Their Shepherds 🥧 is to die for! I've enjoyed a couple of their fresh 🥪 too. I've become fond of their #Tayto Cheese & Onion Crisps as well! A slice of #Irish heaven on the corner of Pennsylvania and 33rd Street in Kansas City!

What a gem. The oldest Irish business outside of Ireland, and just a wonderful old school general store with beer and a deli and everything Irish you could get outside of Ireland. Wonderful people here.

I've eaten here 3-4 times and the food has always been fantastic. One of the best Reuben sandwiches around. Only rivaled by The Peanut.

Visited Ireland in October of 2019, fell in love and this place is like a little visit there! So much wonderful authentic Irish merchandise , including great freshly prepared food. Very fun atmosphere. I'm sure there will be many visits in my future.

It was on St Patrick's day and it's start of parade route. Beyond busy but still cordial. Been here on weekends before and it's original Irish with a bit of commercial Westport ambience. Great place with history galore even tho commercialized now.

Awesome Irish store. Great goods, and food, plus drink a shot, or pint of your favorite Irish whiskey, or lager while waiting in the checkout line! Absolutely love the store.

It's one of my all-time favorite stops in Kansas City. Family owned (for generations) business . Friendly, great quality, just a must see!

Wish I would have known about this place sooner! Went with a friend and will definitely go back! Amazing history and a huge selection of all things irish. We didn’t eat but the Irish coffee was outstanding and everyone treated you like family.

Having tried Browne's by someone's recommendation of their Reuben sandwich, and having tried the other recommended competition (i.e., The Peanut), I wholeheartedly endorse the Reuben sandwich here as the best in Kansas City, either side of the state line. I would have included photos, but I am always more interested in enjoying the sandwich than snapping a quick pic. You'll have to go for yourself to see what I mean. Consistently great service, and an atmosphere welcoming to regulars and first-timers alike. Being one of the oldest, if not THE oldest, Irish business still in operation in the world and local to KC, I love supporting and visiting them regularly.

One of the best hidden gems in Kansas City! Cannot stress enough to go during lunch time hours to enjoy the deli inside. Lots of wonderful Irish import food, drinks, merch, clothing. Great and friendly staff that treat you like family from the moment you enter from the time that you leave.

This place is one of a kind. I had the best Reuben - it was simple and yet each item in the sandwich was done perfectly. I also ordered the potato soup and the German potato salad. Soup was nice and creamy. Stepping into this store is like stepping into another country.

Lots of great items, and super nice people! Have wanted to go for years, everything from a deli, to clothing, and treasures in every corner in a building that's a treasure itself. New favorite work shirts, are Irish grandfather shirts. Want a snazzy cap?? Flat caps and peak blinders caps abound. Stop in and see them. You won't be disappointed!

Browne's Irish Market is a treasure in Kansas City. They serve authentic Irish food, sell a good variety of Irish whiskey and some American whiskeys, also, and Irish wear made in Ireland. Also have regular tasting meetings.

We absolutely loved coming into the store. My husband is scottish and irish so getting treats and stuff from here is his favorite. Especially chips that aren't in the states among other treats. Every desert we purchase here is amazing! I highly recommend them.

Authentic and delish! My favorite deli for corn beef on rye and the potato salad is to die for! And of course the Irish market has all kinds of cool foods and tchotchkes!

Beautiful establishment, great staff and an amazing selection of whiskey. We had a celebration of life here for Dave on Friday night. Thank you again for hosting us.

Found too many things I wanted but managed to get by with buying only three. Think the music in their garden would be great but was cancelled due to heat the day we were there. We will be back!!!

Charming, historic neighborhood place with great Irish gifts, food and drinks! We go there for the sandwiches and enjoy a beer on the large outdoor patio. Make sure to check their hours for when they're open for shopping and food. The people are always friendly at Browne's!
