I've been to Babuni's table a few times and it's always great. The owner took the time to let me and my sister try a Borscht soup he had just finished, making us feel like part of the family. Everything I've eaten here has been delicious, freshly prepared, and well presented. It's obvious the chef/ owner cares about what he's making and serving to his customers. I had not had stuffed cabbage probably since before my mother passed away back in 2005. I had almost forgotten how much I liked it. Being a very competent home chef, I still never tried making it myself, and I don't need to, because I don't think I could do better. IMO it's amazing. If you enjoy great food and a nice atmosphere this is a great place to eat. While the dining room is small, it is comfortable, clean and almost feels like a family gathering. I'd probably suggest making a reservation on weekends, or probably most days around dinner time.

Best Pierogies ever! This is an amazing scratch Kitchen. The food is out of this world. I don't know why there isn't a line out the door and all the way down to Philadelphia. Take a group and enjoy some awesome people and amazing food. There is also a bakery in the front with homemade breads and pastries. 5 stars isn't enough! I can't wait to go again. Cheers from Texas!

Wow! This place has the best authentic polish food and is decorated so nicely for Christmas. When you step in you immediately smell the amazing food. The pierogies are incredible and the staff is so friendly. We will definitely be back many times! Thank you for a truly wonderful lunch experience.

Hector, you rocked as our server today with your consistent service. Special shout out to the chefs in the kitchen, Ella and Anna, who presented us with hot, delicious homemade foods and entrees. From the potato pancake appetizer to the Sorrel and chicken soups, the hand fried chicken entrees through to the dessert of four sweet cream pierogi , drizzled in chocolate and topped with ice cream. Oh my! We even took an order of Feta & spinach pierogi to go! All homemade and cooked to order.

Great experience all around. Pickle soup and pierogis were authentic and delicious. Very cute interior of the restaurant. Good service from our waiter, Jonathan. Darius, the head chef and owner greeted and welcomed us and was very nice to speak with. Yummy dessert as well. Excellent.

Being a vegetarian I didn't plan on eating anything at this Polish restaurant but I did step in to see how beautiful the decor was and I picked up a few bottles of some Polish juices and drinks for my kids. Just for the record my daughter loved the kiwi watermelon drink. If this food suits you then consider having a small meal in their quaint little dining area which is a blast from the past.

So glad I stopped by. Had the potato and garlic pierogies incredibly delicious. This is a traditional polish deli restaurant. Great assortment of kielbasa sausage and a nice menu.

Excellent Eastern European cuisine! Great service, moderately priced but worth every cent. Small ,so maybe call ahead to make sure they have room, especially if you have a larger party. Clean, cozy and fast turnaround for some dishes. Friendly staff, definitely will be returning.

The food was excellent if you grew up with a Polish heritage you will appreciate the food. If you have never eaten Polish food it is the perfect resturant to try juat ask some questions and try the food. The owner/chef came out and spoke with us for about 30 minutes and he was the perfect host.

My wife and I went here for dinner and it was excellent. The waiter was friendly, the atmosphere was nice and the food was amazing! My wife and I highly recommend Babuni's Table!

Wow!!! This place is a gem! It's tucked away near Hilltop on 209. You might miss it, but find it because it is absolutely worth it. My son took me there for lunch and we ate ourselves silly. It was all freshly prepared and scrumptious. Our waitress couldn't have been any sweeter. If you love authentic Polish food, or if you've never tried it before, then definitely pay a visit here. It's cute inside and they sell imported products as well. We loved it so much, a few days later we went back for a huge take out order for the rest of the family to enjoy. The cook is so talented and our waitress made sure we didn't want for anything. Such a pleasant experience and I can't wait to return. Best place to eat in the Poconos!

It's a pretty small and cute place. A lot of goodies to buy up front! Food was DELICIOUS. Pierogis were amazing. I got the Polish Country Platter, which had a little bit of everything. So good! We also bought one of each bakery item to take with us, lol. Those were also very, very tasty. So much food for such a good price, we almost thought we weren't charged right!

What can I say when you’re out in the Poconos and you have a hankering for comfort food? My type of comfort food? You find this little gem and get the flavors you grew up with. My girlfriend and I just googled polish restaurants near me and Babuni’s table came up, great reviews, on our way. I had the halushky with grilled kielbasa and my girlfriend had the bigos. Both were delicious. We also shared cucumber salad that was so fresh and tasty. After dinner we had a great conversation with the chef/owner and can’t wait to come back. If you love Eastern European food as we do then you’ll love Babuni’s Table.

Amazing Food! A great Polish experience with wonderful staff. The peorgis are amazing.

The food here is excellent! We ordered foot long kielbasa sandwiches, a chicken parm sandwich, and some pierogi’s. Everyone unanimously agreed how excellent everything was! The place was spotless, very clean. They had a Christmas tree up and it felt welcoming. Our server was great, very nice and helpful. It has a family owned vibe to it. The place isn’t big, but it’s just right if you’re looking for somewhere to go with a small group or your family. If you’re looking for some home cooked Polish food, come here you won’t be disappointed.

When I arrived at Babuni I was offered a seat near the door. As it was a very windy day I asked to be seated elsewhere. The server accommodated and placed me at another table. Just as I was getting comfortable, the manager (the owner's cousin) entered the dining room and demanded that I be placed at the table near the door. I could see the discomfort and embarrassment on the server's face so I picked up my belongings and moved to the table near the door. When the server (Jonathan) took my order, I was told to select my beverage from a cooler. Not seeing any diet or sugar free beverages, I asked the server for assistance. This obviously upset the "manager". I made my selection and returned to my seat. What the manager did next was childish and annoying, he started a stare down. I ignored him and continued reading my magazine. The food was very good Polish fare. The server, Jonathan, was courteous and attentive. Several times he apologized for the manager's behavior. If I ever want food from Babuni again, it will be a takeout order only. The owner needs to re-think placing this abrasive person in a position to represent them. The owners reply is fiction. First he was not there. Second, there was no purse slamming. Third, the cooler did NOT have any diet Coke. Since he was not there, his reply is fiction and a way to excuse bad behavior by his cousin.
