Fantastic experience! Our axe sensei’s name is Alex Red and he really show us how to enjoy ourselves with throwing axes! This is my first time axe throwing and I had a great time. We even left tips, something that we are not very good at.

It was our first time at the Bury the Hatchet. We had a great time. Definetly be back soon for more!!! Our Axe Master Alex Red was great teacher. Had so much fun

BTH Woodbridge was better than expected! Most of my work colleagues met in person for the first time during a two day, on-site summit, and having this BTH team building event, put most, if not all, at the same footing – our first time holding an axe! Nervous and concerned at first, but then, after the great instruction from Brandon, they were all throwing both types of axes back to back, and we had to repeatedly remind them that there was food and drinks to partake in! It was a blast! Very well kept facilities, friendly on-site staff, shared plaza parking lot, takes credit card payments, has a wooden picnic table per each section, and gave info on local delivery food and beverage sites for remote meal planning. Definitely recommend.

This place was AMAZING! Even with just the normal package (but the upgrade has cooler weapons!). This is such a good time and the person counseling (Alex) was so nice and talked to us like friends, not guests. For most of our group, this was the first time and they didn't realize how much they would love axe throwing - we will definitely come back in the future. And note the flag by the front desk, "the one piece is real!". (written by the 12 year old....)

We went for my husband's birthday. It was such a great time! They had fun games for the two of us to play and we got to try out multiple axes. Alex Red was our guide and he was wonderful. His timing from moving to the next activity was excellent. He was very knowledgeable too.

Amazing experience for my first time ever ace throwing. Chris is THE guy. Extremely friendly and helpful. He even played a few games with us. Definitely a fun place for a family/friends outing. I will definitely be returning if I am ever in the area.

We had the best time here for a birthday. We had Alex M. He legit stood with me for over 30 minutes helping me get on the board then trying to teach me how to throw one handed. I didn't get the one handed throw but I had a great time nonetheless. They put up balloons for the birthday boy to pop which was awesome.

Kia was a total dynamo and kept a very busy BTH establishment flowing smoothly - all by herself! She was clear with her directions to us. Kia was lively and attentive. BTH is exceedingly lucky she is on their payroll. We had an excellent time with her greatly contributing to our experience.

Alex Red and Chris were amazing! But actually, they brought out all kinds of tools and were very straightforward and informative with the rules and techniques. It was my first time and I had a blast! Feeling discouraged is expected but they made me feel better. The best!

AJ was AMAZING he was the most enthusiastic funny fun instructor and walked us through all the stuff we could throw. He was so kind and enhanced our experience. Ask for him and you won't regret it!!

We had a blast! The Mrs. and I came here to try axe trowing for the first time and it was an awesome time. We were helped by Alex Red and he was very welcoming and attentive. He walked us through the basic techniques, kept checking up on us during our visit and mixed other games in with the axe throwing to make it more fun! Overall a great experience and we will definitely be returning.

Alex Red was our Axe Master 🪓 He was so personable, instructive and very kind. He was the only one working and had 4 lanes going, he was attentive to every group that was here while also making sure everyone was being safe. He definitely made my first time axe throwing awesome! Deff will be coming back!

Kia was a great instructor! Kept the vibe up by switching it up and introducing us to different types of games. We had a blast and it was alot more fun because she was such a great host. 5/5 Would come again.

I had such a fun time, especially with all the unique axes that were there like the giant one! I can't wait for when knives and other weapons are available! Would love to throw a spear. Also chris taught us how to throw axes really well. :D The employees here are great!

Tonight we visited Bury the Hatchet in Woodbridge for the 1st with a group of friends for a date night. Had the pleasure of having Tim as our host. He was amazing! We had a wonderful time! Can’t wait to do it again! Asking for Tim again on our next visit!

This is a great place for all ages 11+! I came with my 11 year old and he can’t wait to play again in our home town. You can bring in your own food, beer and wine! Alex M was very helpful and gave great pointers!!

This place was awesome and our instructor Alex R. was the best. He definitely helped out our group with the best pointers for each of us. I will definitely be returning and recommending it to the rest of my friends and family.

Chris is AWESOME! This was my first time at Bury the Hatchet and Chris took his time with me and my two friends. Chris showed me how to throw an axe and star with one hand. Because of his coaching I won the games 21 and Connect four. I will be back. August 16, 2023

Alex Red was totally AMAZING! It was my 1st time ever doing this and he was super informative and patient showing me the ropes and giving me throwing tips. He even came back every now and then to check on me and my group and on how we were doing. He definitely made it a lot more fun. I would definitely go back again just because of him.

Great experience with Alex R. He was very patient patient with teaching the techniques. Alex would come back to check periodically. Once he saw we were comfortable he upped the challenge. Will definitely return.

Came here for my son’s birthday party, we had a blast. Even though I only was able to make one good throw. Nick was awesome , extremely patient with us and answered all of our questions.

Alex Rojas was such an amazing guide. He was fun and taught us so many games. Really liked it and would come back. The axes were varied and I learned how to throw at the end of 2 hours .

Second time in a row coming to this location, it’s such a great suggestion for a fun night. Shout out to our instructor Chris. He was super helpful and his instructions were thorough and spot on helpful to improve your best form and experience while there.

I booked a family Christmas get together. They ranged from ages 14 to 66. Everyone loved the experience. Our host suggested games to play like snowball challenge and giant connect 4 to keep score and play. What a great Christmas gathering! You have to try it.
