This is the second time I have used Five Star for interior painting. Both times I had issues. If you are planning to use this company BEWARE! The first time I hired them to do interior painting, one of the painters spilled nearly a gallon of paint all over a bathroom floor and broke the toilet seat. Although they did clean the paint up and the owner replaced the toilet seat, I still have some paint on my floor. A few weeks ago (7/27/23) I hired them again to do an interior paint job. The crew didn't initially paint all of the trim in the bathroom that was supposed to be painted and the project manager had to return to complete the job. I had a brand new vanity light installed about a month prior to Five Star coming in to paint. The vanity light has glass domes over each light. Again, this was purchased brand new, so had there been any issues, I would have exchanged the light. There is now a crack in the top of one of the domes, which is near the ceiling. It was a little difficult to see the crack with the light on, which is why I didn't see it until yesterday. Mind you, no one has been near the ceiling except Five Star Painting since the light was installed. I immediately notified the owner of Five Star Painting and was told, "Stephanie. I received your information about the chip in your light. I've checked with the crew and talked with Steve. I've copied him. No one on site did anything which would have resulted in any damage to anything. This is an extremely careful and trustworthy crew. If we damage anything we notify a homeowner immediately. All of our people know to do that. You would have been notified if something had occurred. It is not uncommon for people not to notice something and then one day see it." The crew never said a word about anything because they don't speak English well. So, I guess the top of my dome just got a crack in it all by itself. I guess an imaginary person did something to it. Again, if you use Five Star Painting of Pickerington, be sure to check everything in and around where they work immediately! I only wish I had checked the light with the lights off before they left. So, unlike the paint spill that they had to own up to, they will not own up to the fact that they damaged my light and will not take care of it. I do not recommend this company.

Chris did an excellent job of painting the soffits on my home. He also repaired a hole in the fascia and matched the color. He cleaned up well every day and was quiet and reliable. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent work. The darker paint bled through the lighter color we picked after it had dried. 5 star returned and put an extra coat on to make sure all was good. Great finish, excellent lines.

5 star came out to paint interior walls of my home. They arrived each day as scheduled and completed the work on time. They were polite, clean and worked quietly (ie no music playing etc). Harry the PM was friendly. He provided a comprehensive review of the work. Explained the contract and didn’t rush me. I’ve already referred them to 2 people at work who are looking for painters.

Wow! Just Wow! Everyone we met along the way in this process was informative and courteous. They painted the exterior of our home (brick and siding) and although it was extremely humid, they showed up everyday to get the job done. At the end of each day, they would check in with us to make sure we were satisfied with what they had done so far and explain any issues they had some across. Such great people to work with and we are incredibly happy with the results. We highly recommend them.

I never once had any issues, they were easy to contact and and were very open to work with me on last minute changes, which meant a lot. They won my business for any paint job I need in the future.

I had 5 star painting come out to provide an estimate for interior and exterior painting. They were friendly and courteous during the appointment and promised to have an estimate to me within 45 minutes. It's been 4 days and I've heard absolutely nothing from them. Even after reaching out to see what was going on. They've been completely unresponsive. I'd heard rumblings about poor communication from this company in the past but attempted to give them a shot. Don't waste your time on these folks.

Henry and his crew were very professional. They took great care to protect our hardwood floors and stained molding in our home. The work quality was great and they completed the project ahead of schedule which allowed us to move in sooner to our new home. We really appreciate that the home was clean after the painting was done despite the fact they repaired a lot of places in the drywall which required sanding.
