    If I could give zero stars I would. I have bought a Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla and a VW Routon from Luther dealerships. All services for vehicles were performed at Luther dealerships while cars were under warranty, so I have spent a lot of money with them. Today my mother brought her VW Routon into the dealership, at some point someone had put her front hub caps on incorrectly and the valve stem was blocked. I am not saying that Luther put them on, but they were not willing to help her because they didn’t screw it up and it wasn’t there problem. These are hub cabs that take about 30 seconds to change the alignment on, something any decent person would do for a neighbor or a stranger at a gas station that is having this issue. I am shocked and appalled at the lack of customer service and decency from Luther WestSide. I will no longer be doing any business with them and would encourage people to get their vehicles and services done elsewhere. I can understand not wanting to take on a liability, but they had no problem putting air in her other tires, moving a hub caps orientation should not have been a big deal. Absolutely shameful Luther Westside VW.

    David Lopez helped me buy a Honda Passport Sport- and I have to say, it was a phenomenal experience working with him. I was primarily looking at the passport but I had three other cars that I was also interested in. He made sure to get the cars ready ahead of time and even parked them next to eachother for easy comparison. He was helpful, informative, genuine, and patient. I didn't get the "salesman" vibes- it was like having a very well-informed friend guiding me through the process and informing me about each of the cars I was looking at. I ended up getting stuck between two cars and he never made me feel pressured to make a decision. He just answered my questions and helped me compare the two cars until I felt ready to pull the trigger on the car I now own. He really went above and beyond- I would absolutely highly recommend working with him. Additionally, this dealership as a whole was excellent- really nice people.

    So i came into this Volkswagen to possibly look at getting a new car. However, I had the worst, disgusting experience I ever did have. First off, the sales guy, was very unprofessional, not friendly and rude. He told me my car needs an inspection which he would do next morning as the day was closing. That's just unacceptable. Second, he told me that my car is going to break down soon but when he mentioned it, he would bring it to me and not give me the cost of getting it fixed. That also is unacceptable. Now for the price: he said I am getting a $300 gift card to a place where I can go and buy a car for $2000. I told him that I wanted to see the car and test drive it as soon as possible but first I had to do some research on this car. Well he said that they don't have such a price tag so that is it. Now that is really just ridiculous. No car is going to cost less than $2000 unless it is new. I'm not saying he didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, he did. The problem is that I have come to get a great car and this salesman would not listen to my need and I just don't think he cares. Do not buy this car. And don't give up the gift card. He will do the same with a new person.

    This dealership never fails to impress me. Service staff are very friendly and professional. Never try to BS me or sell me more than I need. The facility is very comfortable inside and I’ve been able to work remotely from their facility while getting service. They even offer free 2 way Lyft rides if you need to run anywhere while they have your vehicle. Dealerships rarely leave me satisfied, but their service alone here is stellar. Highly recommend to anyone in the twin cities with a Volkswagen. I’ll never take my Touareg anywhere else.

    I had brought my car in to get diagnosed for a check engine light. They wrongly diagnosed my car (later found the issue which was not what they had told me) and then told me my rear springs are bad. I had another place look at the springs and they were fine. For me this dealer was a complete waste of money and time. Honestly seems like they just pulled the codes and nothing else. Would not recommend for service. At least the people are respectful

    It was the simplest car buying experience that I have had working with Rick. He was extremely responsive and straight forward. Luther West Side had the vehicle that we wanted and being we were a couple of hours away, we completed the sale via phone calls and texts. Rick earned my trust right away. The buying process and car pick up was simple and organized as well.

    I have purchased from Luther Westside in the past and it was a great experience the first time around. This time around was no different. Every single employee I had contact with was very nice. I test drove a vehicle and I did enjoy it, although I had plans to shop around a bit and try a few other vehicles. I let George, the salesman, know this up front and he was very helpful and did not put pressure on me or attempt to dissuade me from shopping around. He gave me his card and kept in contact with me. A few days later I wanted to come back and look at another car. At no point did I feel like I was being a burden, and he ended up getting the sale from me. I was nervous that I would regret whichever vehicle I chose (There are so many options on the market!) and although I am less than a month into ownership, I am very satisfied and have no regrets. George was fantastic, as was his manager, the financing person, and everyone I had met. Great atmosphere.

    I had a great experience at Luther Westside. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. My salesperson was Joe Fifield and he was fantastic! I could not have asked for a better person to help me through this process. Joe was very informed, giving me a ton of great information, and answering all the questions I had. This was my first time getting a car from a dealership and my first time leasing a car. Joe made the whole experience easy and comfortable. I feel very lucky to have been paired up with Joe here.

    I was greeted by a friendly smile as I drove in. My service advisor, Treyvon, greeted me with a smile and explained all the work that was going to be done. He was friendly and seemed to care about what needed to be done on my car. My car was serviced in less time than was advised. the check out was easy and my car was washed. The check out person was also very friendly and caring.

    Better knowledge of the VW 2 yr maintenance plain. Initially I was told I would get an oil change and tire rotation for 2 years. Then when I got there I was told the rotation was only at the dealership you purchased the vehicle. Kudos to Trey for taking care of it this time. But I’ll have to bring it to the other dealership in the future.

    Recently leased a 2024 Atlas SE w/Technology package via Joseph Fifield and Jeramiah Domino after another sister store failed to have the desired model options / color we were wanting. When contacted, Joe sent a video of the vehicle and the whole lease process from start to finish was flawless. Worth the drive to Luther's Westside, even if living in any other part of the metro to work with Joseph Fifield and Jeramiah Domino.

    I purchased a 2024 Atlas on 9/15/23 and, frankly, it was the most pain-free car buying experience of my life. The whole process from walking onto the lot, looking at vehicles, test driving, filling out paperwork, signing, and driving off in my new vehicle was about 2-hours, tops. Moreover, the sales associate, Eric Dahl, was efficient, knowledgeable, and, above all else, not pushy in anyway (the same could be said about the entire dealership). If you're in the market for a Volkswagen, I would unequivocally recommend that you start at Luther Westside Volkswagen - you'll likely not need to go anywhere else.

    I typically do not leave reviews but need to make an exception for Westside VW! My experience there with Brian was amazing. He made me feel relaxed and at ease throughout the whole process. Walking into a car dealership alone, as a female, with a child can be and has been a bad experience. But right off the bat Brian was kind, personable and honest. I never felt the slightest bit uncomfortable or that I was being taken advantage of or lied to. Financing was an absolute breeze and I am actually looking forward to making payments! My vehicle is awesome and I am happy every time I’m in it. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. Well done Luther Westside VW and high fives to Brian Johnson!!

    Most of my interactions involved Eric Dahl. Eric was extremely helpful, communicative, and flexible given my circumstances. He did not fall through and kept in touch with me to the point of vehicle purchase. Further, it was the vehicle that I fell in love with several weeks earlier. I knew that if it would not have worked, then Eric would have found something that did. I greatly appreciate this commitment to service, as it means more than short-term "turn and burn" like many other salespeople engage in. Customer relationships matter, so thank you again Eric!!!

    Rick Tedesco was the guy who helped me. I've never had a better experience at a car dealership than with him. He was extremely personable, authentic, and easy going. He kept me updated on how things were moving along also. As a Retail District Manager, I really acknowledge and appreciate the high level of customer service he provided.

    Just bought a car here a couple weeks ago and it was a positive experience all around. Elton, the salesman who helped me, was able to point me to a good car fitting my needs and let me test drive it on short notice. He provided me with useful advice and things I should consider before making my purchase. He had a good sense of humor and made good conversation all without pushing me to make my purchase. Everyone else I interacted with at the dealership was very nice as well. My headlight went out and my tire pressure light came on within a couple days of buying my car and they were nice enough to change my light and pump my tires no extra charge. I don't plan to buy another car soon, but when I do I'll check back here.

    I can’t say enough good things about our experience here while purchasing a used vehicle. Bobby went over and beyond at his job. He responded instantly, gave us every bit of detail, and made everything so easy for us. Simon also went out of his way while working on the finance end.     I got in right away to get winter tires. They offered a temp car when the tires weren't immediately available, which was unexpected. They kept me posted along the way on the status of things. I appreciate their transparency and updates as well as a lender car (which I didn't need). I also appreciate that I get a person when I call, few transfers if any, and I can leave a message and get a callback if someone isn't immediately available.

    Michael was so helpful. He gave me options, his price quote was accurate, and he gave me an accurate time quote for my wait, allowing me to decide if I needed to call a ride. I didn’t have to ask for any of this information, as he offered it all up front, before I even sat down. Once he realized that my car would need a few days, he ensured that it was covered under my warranty before getting me into a rental almost immediately. Even during the holiday season when things are busy, they had my car done two days later. When I couldn’t pick it up that day, they were more than willing to allow me to keep driving the rental one more day without question. On top of that, all of the other employees seemed happy to be there and were more than willing to guide me when I looked lost or had a question. I will never take my car to a generic repair shop and will certainly stick with Volkswagen for life due to the amazing service you’ve provided since I bought my car in 2020. Thank you so much for everything!

    Rick is an awesome individual. He is very laid back but very knowledgeable and understanding. The test drive was where he showed above and beyond customer service. Felt like I was riding with a friend, casually chatting it up while taking a smooth ride. Rick doesn't make you feel pressured he makes your experience comfortable and fun. All in all a friendly, fun, and professional guy! Thanks for all you do Rick! I love my car!

    I purchased my VW Jetta here in 2021 and had a really nice experience working with Eric Dahl. I came into the dealership already knowing what I was planning to get, and he was prompt and friendly to help get me set up with a quick test drive and paperwork. I didn’t end up getting the deal that I initially had hoped for due to some tricky end of month timing and a holiday, but I felt like everything was communicated to me clearly, and importantly, I left without feeling ripped off. I’ve since had to bring the vehicle back twice for service, a flat tire and an oil change, and it was super easy to schedule online. After my oil change visit I did have a tire pressure alert go off shortly after leaving the dealership, but when I came back they were able to quickly diagnose and address the issue after just a few minutes. Their staff is polite and patient, and the waiting area is comfortable with a really nice selection of complimentary beverages.

    Dillon was extremely helpful regarding the repairs needed on my new (old) Passat. He was very open and honest about the possibility that the expensive repair might not totally fix the problem. He was very clear in all of his explanations and was very patient with my repeated visits and questions with the car. Throughout all of our interactions Dillon was friendly, honest, helpful and thorough. Dillon went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with the repair plan and satisfied with the results.

    Brian Johnson was very knowledgeable about the features of every model and the differences between model years. He never lied to us (I always ask questions I already know the answer to to see if the salesmen is willing to lie to make the sale, which unfortunately it's the case quite often). We felt no undue pressure throughout the process. He was patient and never complained when we wanted to drive another car just to be sure. Honestly the best salesmen I've ever worked with across a handful of purchases at dealers and countless interactions that didn't result in a purchase. When we're in the market for another car Brian will be my first call.

    Excellent experience here! Very pleased. Eric assisted us with the purchase of a new vehicle & the process was incredibly smooth. Our vehicle came in early and we were notified immediately. We were given a proper checklist of items to complete beforehand to ensure the process on pickup day was efficient. We also worked with Craig and he was knowledgeable with warranties and coverage to ensure we were taken care of appropriately (without being pushy, huge plus!). All staff was welcoming to our toddler and gave her the cutest little bears. Above and beyond service all around. It may be a while until we return here, but would recommend it in a heartbeat.
