I had an outstanding experience here. Went in for surgery, and from security when you first walk in to the very last nurse you encounter, their staff are wonderful. Every nurse that took care of me was patient, reassuring, and attentive. My doctor and anesthesiologist both put my mind at ease prior to surgery by explaining everything thoroughly. There was also a PT who came in to make sure I knew how to use my crutches and such after surgery and a tech who did my vitals. They were both excellent as well. Even the front desk staff were attentive, kind, and patient. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility for any orthopedic surgery.

My husband just had surgery yesterday. The entire staff from start to finish were awesome! They were all very attentive, sweet, understanding and professional! A special recognition to RN Stephanie K - 3rd fl. The most amazing, funny and sweetest nurse to have been a part of my husbands recovery team! Thank you all for your great assistance. The Orthopedic Hospital, Wisconsin is one of the most clean hospitals I’ve ever been in. They really go the extra mile in taking care of you. Every staff member no matter where they were from- lab, diagnostic imaging, PT, reception, and security, everyone was wonderful and made me feel as though I was heard and that my my care was the very important. But honestly, that’s how they treat all their patients. The surgeons are brilliant, the nurses are compassionate and I knew that I was in the right place at the right time. I hope you never have to have surgery but if you do, don’t walk, run to the Orthopedic Hospital of Wisconsin. Thank you for all you did for me! Forever grateful Margaret.

My hospital stay was amazing. The nurses and staff were very kind, empathetic and Informative. dr Beth came to see m twice which I really appreciated. The anesthesiologist explained things very clearly and gave me choices. I tried a new method I had not used before and it worked great. I was greatly impressed with the room. It was very cozy. Last but not least the food was incredible. I couldn’t believe the options and it tasted spectacular. Thank you!!!

The nurses and the rest of the staff were great! They were very compassionate and answered my questions whereas I could understand what to expect from my knee surgery! Best place for care! Staff at all levels are fantastic and caring. Rooms are large and the food is 5 star restaurant quality! The best RN is Evelyn she cared for me the last 2 days for knee replacement and back in May for my hip replacement. She is caring, professional friendly just "the best" I'm glad she had a student nurse today, she will inspire more great nurses! Very happy patient- Joan Clark

All the staff was very nice ,clean and professional. The recovery team was very nice. I wasn't scared when I got to the surgery room it's self everyone welcome me said who they were and the part they play in my surgery. The Anesthesiologist was very funny I love his personality 🤣 very funny guy. Thank you all for your services

I had surgery this morning at Orthopedic Hospital of Wisconsin. The staff and doctors that I encountered during my stay were great! Everyone was kind, caring and compassionate. OHOW is a phenomenal place. I couldn’t have picked a better place to have my surgery. All the staff are very professional, well-trained and excellent caregivers. My experience at OHOW was a 10 out of 10. Thanks to my surgeon, Dr. Rory Wright, and all the hospital staff!

Starting from checking in to check out I had an excellent experience because from the guy who checked us in at the front desk, (he was happy and very welcoming) plus the staff and doctors are so friendly, caring and professional. I had my knee replaced a couple of years back as well and it was clear that the nurses were so happy and loved being there too. I knew that this was the place to be. Thank you Dr Berg, the nurses and all the staff. You are all GREAT! I highly recommend Orthopedic Hospital! Once you come here you will not want to go anywhere else!

The nurses and staff were awesome when I tell you they treated me with so much care and dignity. It was unbelievable my doctor, Dr. John kroner was awesome. I’m so happy I picked him as my surgeon very caring and very concerning and compassionate. I’m so grateful for the Nurses and Doctor for making sure I was comfortable and well informed on every aspect of the process. I am going to be going again for the same surgery on the other foot in a few months when healed and I’m confident I’ll feel safe in their care for my second go. They were always available to talk me through any questions and concerns. Very kind people at this hospital I’m so happy my first surgical event was with this optimistic and experienced team.

No one ever wants to have surgery. The Orthopedic Hospital made it the best experience possible. Great surgeon and operating room staff. Caring recovery nurse. Nurses and assistants were unbelievable. Truly felt as if I were their only patient. PT and OT were so helpful and kind. Food service was exceptional. Thank you to all!!

The people that work here are all phenomenal. I have had many surgeries in my lifetime and been at many hospitals but not one Hospital compares to the people at the Orthopedic Hospital. I am grateful to each and every one of the staff members who took care of me. When I couldn't stand they helped me stand. When I couldn't walk they helped me walk. And when I cried they reassured me I was going to be okay. I will never forget them.

Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin is the best hospital I have ever been a patient. The nurses and staff are very attentive, friendly and professional. The staff to patient ratio is amazing. I never had to wait more that a minute to be seen when I used the call button. The most surprising thing about my stay at Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin was the food. IT IS AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!! It is served hot, the was you specify and presented like you would have it in a classy restaurant. I will go there for any procedures I need in the future. It's a WONDERFUL hospital!!

I was in the hospital for hip surgery. Could not have asked for better care. Everyone was very attentive. Everyone was very knowledgeable. And everyone that worked with me had a very kind disposition and good bedside manner. I couldn’t not have asked for better nurses, doctor, or nursing assistants. Even the chef came to my room to see if the food was OK. Never had that happen anywhere else. Excellent experience in every way!

I’ve been a nurse for nearly 50 years. I received excellent care and attention to detail for my total knee replacement. I could not have asked for better staff, teaching and support throughout the entire stay. Wonderful communication and teaching. Thank you!

This is by far the best hospital I have ever been in. Surgery went smoothly and the entire staff did everything correctly. So quiet there I actually slept the night of surgery. Beds were very comfortable and actually long enough for me. And the food is incredible. Not at all "hospital food". The chef even spoke with us to see if we were happy with it.

I had a TKR at this hospital on September 6, 2023. The surgeon who did the surgery was Dr. John Kroner - one of a great attributes doctors known. Wonderful, wonderful experience at this facility. The hospital was very clean from front door to inpatient room. Staffs was very caring and friendly. And the food is delicious and made to order…even got a personal in-room visited from the chef himself to see if food was satisfactory. I just can not say enough how much I appreciate being well taken care off during my short 3 days stay. Dr. Kroner is one of the best and experienced orthopedic surgeon in the area. I am 9 weeks post-op and recovering well ROM 106/01 and going… I do have a LT-TKR coming up in 6months and looking forward to it…Never thought I would say this 👍😉 Thank you again! I would highly recommend this hospital…Keep it up 👍

From the time I got there, they treated me with more respect than I deserve. From surgery to recovery to spending the night anytime I had a question. They always answered it as quick as possible the food there is delicious. You are definitely in good hands. I hope I got a chance to thank everybody enough for taking care of me. If I ever have to have surgery again, I hope I have it here. These people are not like nothing you’ve ever experienced.

What a wonderful experience! OHOW is full of extraordinary people willing to help and always with a smile on their face. Going in for bilateral knee replacement had me feeling pretty anxious but they had me at ease from the moment I walked in until they wheeled me out 3 days later. The staff and food is A-1!

The entire experience was exceptional. My needs were always fully addressed promptly and respectfully, regardless of the time of day. The process was efficient. My room was quiet and comfortable. And the food by Chef Mike and team was amazing!

I’ve had two procedures at Orthopedic Hospital of Wisconsin and I can’t praise them enough. Amazing staff who goes above and beyond. Extremely friendly, kind, patient, sympathetic, caring and understanding. The facility is extremely clean and looks brand new, although it’s been open for at least five years when I had my last surgery there. I highly recommend them for any procedure you might have there.

If you have a choice on where you have surgery, this is the place to go. Being in healthcare I was very aware and the entire process and care was exceptional. To initial work up to day of surgery, nurses, surgery staff, anesthesiologist, of course the surgeon and after care with nurses, OT and PT. Food was also very good. The chief even checked in and asked how our meals were. Top notch and i hope it will continue to be a great provider.

This hospital is amazing! The staff are always positive, informative and answered questions without judging. The nurses were always smiling, helpful and aware of what your needs might be, along with explaining medicines and therapy needs. I would not go anywhere else, and have recommended this hospital to my friends and neighbors. I am grateful and blessed to have been served by them.

The care at the orthopedic hospital it was phenomenal. Everyone was so nice helpful and relaxing. The only thing I would change would be that I didn’t have to arrive two hours early for the appointment because they were pretty spot on on their timing. Other than that the experience that I had at this location was top notch!!

The staff at the Orthopedic Hospital of Wisconsin is absolutely incredible. The facility is comfortable and quiet and the food is wonderful My Surgeon Dr Jost is definitely the best around and his PA is top notch. The staff from the receptionist to surgery is kind, friendly, caring & knowledgeable. Other than the gowns, socks & robes being way out of my color choices, there is nothing negative to say. The person who stood out today was the anesthesiologist. I have had procedures at most area hospitals and she was the first anesthesiologist to ask questions about areas of possible concern. She looked back at a colleague’s records and went so far as to talk with both my surgeon & the pharmacist. Highly impressed!!! Thank you kindly for asking. NS

I've been here twice for different procedures and can say that I received excellent care before, during, and after the surgeries. I was made to feel comfortable right from the start with the pre-op phone call I got from the kindest nurse. That awesome treatment continued on the day of my procedure and well after. Wonderful experience, wonderful staff, fabulous doctor! Highly recommend. After multiple unsuccessful surgeries on my foot at other hospitals with other doctors I feel like I will actually get my life back. My foot is a normal size for the first time in seven years. Best hospital ever. The physicians and nursing staff are second to none. You can get the very best orthopedic care right here in Milwaukee. My son has had two surgeries and the rest of my family has seen several of their physicians. What a phenomenal place to receive care.

The process for my surgery was very organized. The staff in all areas was knowledgeable, respectful and enjoyable to interact with. The hospital facility was great for my overnight stay. The rooms are private and there is quiet so patients can sleep and recover. I would recommend this hospital to anyone for joint replacement.

I’ve never had surgery before and I was quite nervous. From the moment arrived every nurse and nursing assistant I had was wonderful. Compassionate and informative. My PT and OT were outstanding as well. I left knowing exactly what I needed to do to heal well. I am so thankful for Dr. Kroner and his team, my hip replacement went smoothly and the relief of my initial pain was practically immediate. An outstanding knee replacement surgery by Dr. Rory Wright. Recovery is going SO well, and the outpatient therapists tell me I am actually ahead of schedule with rehab. The hospital staff set my journey in motion by being excellent at what they do, and they provided support and reassurance every step of the way. Many of them have worked there a long time, and seem to love what they do. The food service is 5 star. I can't say enough about this hospital, my surgeon, and staff.

From the time I walked in the door to the time that I was wheeled out, I felt incredibly well cared for and the treatment was excellent. Knowing that I can call any time with questions makes my recovery that much easier. I didn’t feel rushed or that anything took too long. All in all it was an awesome. experience.

I was just telling my husband that I am so impressed with everyone who went into the operating room with me. The assistants who took vitals, the nurse who checked me in. This hospital is absolutely outstanding! I just had my left knee replacement done after having the right knee done last year. The quality of care is top notch. Staff is extremely caring and conscientious. Their overall working systems are finely tuned and everything done is done like clock work. I honestly cannot think of a negative aspect. I would give them 500 stars if that option was available in this review.

The doctor and anesthesiologist came in to talk with me before the procedure and it was explained well and I was able to ask all the questions I had. After care was great and the procedure went well.

Everyone was patient informative and kind. The front desk security was prepared and ready for my arrival with a smile! The folks in the Cafe where gracious and reminded me "you can not eat!!" The nurses and techs both pre-op and post where patient welcoming and so gentle 😍. All in all a very professional friendly and beautiful hospital!!! It was like checking in to a hotel. I will be having a second surgery soon and I look forward to being taken care of by all the amazing people that work there!
