I ordered food from here, Paneer Makhni and Veg Biryani. It came with a dead housefly in it. Completely shocked by the hygiene of this restaurant and God knows how they cook. I also contacted them and they asked the photos of the food to which I never got a reply back from them. Please be cautious if anyone plans to eat over here.

We came in late 9.30ish and were seated very quickly despite this place been very busy. It has got really nice rustic interior. The staff is very nice, very well spoken, very quick service, and amazing service. The manager comes to you right away to introduce himself and the menu. The order was taken right away and then food comes out fairly quickly and served hot and delicious. Everything we ordered taste perfect, cooked to perfection. The tables are cleaned right after you’re done eating. The wait time for anything in the process is fairly low. And you don’t feel rushed at the same time. The tandoori platter was the best of all. All the flavors were great and to perfection. They also do events and catering and delivery for catering.

Food was delicious and must recommend to anyone who is visiting a Harrison area or near Jersey City. Good vibes and friendly service, also must try Kalakhatta drink they do have with alcohol or without alcohol to recollect our childhood memories.!!!

Took my family out for dinner, and I am so happy I stumbled across this gem! 10/10! I had a spectacular time. The decor was beautiful, the service and the food was amazing. I will surely be back.

We stopped at Urban Tandoor while visiting friends in the area. Peter, who we believe is the owner, was so attentive and helpful. He made excellent drink and appetizer recommendations and all of our food was top notch. The staff was all great. Some of the best biryani I’ve ever had. Definitely would go back if we’re in the area again.

We've eaten at this place a few times and we liked the food before. Ordered takeout tonight. Literally everything they gave us was horrible. The palak paneer tasted like it came from a can and had barely any paneer. The cauliflower was undercooked, sour and was immersed in an uncooked batter. The two naans were half portions and stale. We called to express our dismay and were basically told to get lost. Order at your own peril.

A fantastic Indian bar & restaurant that offers a wide range of delicious dishes. Good interior, with comfortable atmosphere. The quality of the food is excellent, with fresh ingredients and authentic spices that create flavorful and aromatic dishes. The naan bread, in particular, is amazing, with a crispy exterior and soft, chewy interior that's perfect for dipping in the various sauces. The bar is also clean and well-maintained, the quality of the food and the atmosphere make it a worthwhile expense.

Can you spot difference between these pics of paneer tikka masala and paneer jalfrezi? Nothing, right? Even the taste is also same and they keep arguing it’s different! Horrible taste and very expensive! We got 5 small triangle pieces of paneer in chili paneer for $15. We don’t recommend at all this restaurant.

We were looking for a good local Indian restaurant and our hotel receptionist recommended this one. What a great recommendation it turned out to be. Indian food is our favorite and the cuisine at this place was superb. Lively, hip atmosphere which was different to most restaurants we've been to that are usually more traditional. The staff were all very friendly including the owner who came to introduce himself and shake our hands. Portions were large, flavorful and authentic, naan breads were delicious, popadums were served as an appetizer and beers came with a frosty glass. Not sure if we'll ever be back in Harrison, NJ but if we are we will definitely eat here again.

Had a very nice meal. They were busy when I got there so seating took a little while, but it was no surprise since the food was very good. A little on the pricer side, but very nice for a date or a nicer meal for the night. The spiked mango lassi was very good

Stopped by for chai and snacks. Ginger tea was milky, with no distinct taste of ginger, and luke warm. Mirchi bajji had no spice in it. Was told they were not for the Indian palate. Quickly switched to cocktails. Peach Margarita was okay. Tamarind Margarita did the trick :) Hakka noodles were delicious, and so was the samosa chat. Nice bar area with a friendly bartender. They seemed to have many orders to go. Street parking can be hard to find. Almost missed the restaurant name while driving given the font- so I'm posting a pic.

The ambience and the atmosphere is great, and the food is ok. Of all the food we ordered chicken 65 starters were better. Everything else is ok.

Incredible food and quick service! The manager Pete was very friendly and made us feel comfortable; he pointed out the dishes that were vegan. Great ambiance; friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the restaurant was very clean. I really liked the veg Manchow soup, fried rice and cauliflower Manchurian. My family loves the food too. The service was efficient and fast, and they did an amazing job with the chili chicken, fish curry, and chicken 65, as well as the naan and fried rice. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Indian cuisine or already loves it.

Ordered chicken fried rice. Can’t even eat couple of spoons. Ridiculous how bad they could make such simple dish. This is second bad experience in past two weeks and no longer going back. Something changed at this place and food has gone south for good.
