My husband and I took our sons Cam & Chase to blow glass. Ariel was absolutely FABULOUS with giving directions and staying informative. Ariel made my family experience amazing, which we will return and let our family/friends know about it. Ariel keep up the superior service/experience for all that enter Hotsand. Also, Ariel referred us to the best coffee ever while in the area. Lastly, make an appointment with her to have the BEST experience. Thanks! πŸ˜‰

Had an amazing time. Booked an appointment to make a egg/vase. Both techs were very good, knowledgeable and friendly. Very cool experience to try and get a hands on experience. Would definitely recommend for an opportunity to try.

Great Experience! They were extremely accommodating and informative. It was a great lesson on the ins and outs of glass blowing and the instructors were friendly and fun. We really enjoyed our time here and it was exactly what we were looking for as a different way to pass some time on date day. Area is cute also with bars breweries and restaurants surrounding it.

Was given a gift card for my bday from my friends. We had a blast!!! The staff was so much fun to work with. Cant wait to get our final creations in about a week. This is the perfect activity to do for a date-anniversary-bday-or just for something different to do. Even the non-crafty can do this. We will be back!!!

This is a super cool and nice little shop! My daughter went to a birthday party there and they made amazing tiles and were able to watch a real glassblower make items right in front of their eyes! It was so cool and they were so nice! Definitely worth a trip to see all of their unique items for sale! I believe they make custom orders as well!

I brought my 11 year old daughter to Hot Sands to show her one of the most difficult and one of the most beautiful artizanal crafts still in existence. To see how a simple silica sand becomes something wonderful right in front of your eyes is unforgettable. Wonderful personnel at Hot Sands delivered in spades. The studio is immaculate, and the gallery in the front shows great number of pieces hand blown by the staff. The experience will be as unique as anything. I recommend everyone to try it at least ones in their lifetime.

Brought my husband to Hot Sand today to celebrate his birthday. We had so much fun from start to finish! The instructors are kind, informative, and knowledgeable. We admired the way that they educated us on the process without it feeling like a lecture. My husband made the whiskey glass and I made the ornament. My only complaint is how fast the time went by! Although on the pricey side, Hot Sand allows you to participate in making a glass piece you will treasure forever. Definitely worth doing when in Asbury Park!

I was looking for a creative gift for my wife and getting activities at Hot Sand was a great decision. I wasn't sure exactly how to get the best experience for her birthday so I reached out to them and they quickly responded. I scheduled individual activities for a few people so we all had an opportunity to make something. It also gave us an opportunity to see how each glass creation was made. The instructors, Ariel and Matt, were great and really helped guide the process along while making sure we felt involved even though (for safety reasons) they were doing the bulk of the sculpting. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for an outside-of-the-box gift or even a fun date idea.

The experience of blowing and helping to create your glass art (or in my case a glass) is truly an amazing one here. The woman who was guiding us was awesome. She not only took the time and care throughout the process, but she also did an awesome job educating us on what everything is and does as well. The price is what I would expect and no complaints there. I just have to say THANK YOU to HOT SANDS and the awesome woman who guided and helped us throughout. They also have awesome glass art throughout the store as well. They even let my 9 year old "assist" me as well which was awesome of them to do as well.

Had a great experience! Came here for my bachelorette party with 3 of my friends. We were all able to make our own piece with the guidance of the super informative staff! Excited to see my work when I go back next week to pick it up!

We enjoyed our visit. The two pieces we helped make came out very nice. In addition we bought a beautiful carafe. *We parked, paid for parking, left the receipt in the car window and walked to the store. When we came back we had a $36.00 ticket which may have required two visits to the court. I called the court and was instructed to mail in the receipt and call back to see if the court dismissed the ticket which they did. It seems like this is a regular occurrence. You need to decide if the visit is worth the risk of an undeserved ticket.

Made an appointment to blow a glass bubble. It was really informative and fun. The staff were very accommodating and willing to answer all of my questions. I got the bubble shipped because I was there on vacation, and it came under a week after I went, so thanks for the fast shipping! And even if you don't want to spend the time (/money) to make something yourself, they have many premade items in the shop for you to take home.

This was awesome! Went for a glass blowing party with friends. You pick what you want to make and they walk you safely through the process of your piece being made. Made a future reservation with my family. Really enjoyed it and it's so nice to see Asbury coming alive and doing well! Thank you Hot Sand artisans for sharing your talents with us!

Extremely friendly staff. Purchased a really gorgeous pitcher/glass set and the employees were all extremely friendly and answered my many questions about how the glasses were made and how they did the coloring. Really impressed with the craftsmanship of the items. Hoping I can come back for a class at some point! Thanks for the great service!

My daughter and I went today. We both made candy bowls. We had such an awesome experience! I had Daniel guiding me and he was amazing. He explained a lot about the process and patiently answered all of my questions. They had a variety of projects and we can't wait to come back.

Great folks there to guide and help you make a blown glass project. Less hands-on than some studios but lots of fun. Safety is a priority both to protect you from the heat involved and from COVID. Each person gets sanitized goggles and blowing tube. Beautiful colors to choose from and many different projects can be made.

My brother and I were given gift certificates for our shared birthday. What an awesome experience! Absolutely beautiful items for sale but I highly recommend making your own. It's a special feeling of accomplishment. Something I'll cherish. The staff is so warm and friendly. Special shout out to Scott sharing his amazing talent.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ More good art in the heart of Asbury: sweeping, edgy, not-terribly-predictable. Very rarely disappoints.
