Best LTL company around!

We purchased a set of patio furniture that was delivered through OD. When the appointment clerk called to schedule our delivery time she stated the time range he would be there, that they would call 30 minutes out, and that they would deliver to the drive but they are not responsible to do any more. That is NOT what happened in my case. I was called when the guy was 5 minutes away and told he would not be coming in my neighborhood and had to meet him at a easier location. The items were big & heavy, hence the reason they were on a freight truck not a box truck… Had I been told this upfront, I could have made arrangements to have a guy & truck available. Instead I had to make multiple trips in my small SUV back and forth. I was barely able to lift any of the boxes and the delivery guy just laughed. We payed a lot of money for the furniture & delivery. We should have had better service than we received.

Old Dominion Freight Line worked well with me to quickly transport my cabinets from Florida to Nashville area. They're distribution point in LaVergne, TN was very helpful, polite, and secure. I recommend them for anyone needing transportation of goods on a pallet(s).

When making a dock pickup, this is one of the fastest and most efficient transport companies I've ever used. Big Country, Chris and Alberto always bring my shipments to me quickly. They're always friendly and smiling. And most importantly, they will wait for me to load my truck. The other carriers my company uses (E**** or *&* Carriers) drop my shipments on the ground at the tailgate and leave. It takes about 45 minutes to load the truck when that happens. The guys at Old Dominion do everything they can to help, including holding my equipment on the forks of the forklift and letting me work. I'm usually in and out in less than 15 minutes! We ship equipment every day. We won't use any other companies in Nashville again. Old Dominion is a little more expensive, but it's completely worth it because of the service you receive from them!

In order to save time I asked if I could pick my delivery up. I was told, "Sure." Never again will that happen and I will never use them again. The ladies were nice. The operations manager wasn't.

We had a great experience with OD. They shipped our home goods from Oregon to Tennessee. My couch is the only thing that did not survive but that was a packing problem by us not OD. The couch cost us 300 bucks new so we did not lose much. The staff was very friendly and accommodating extremely helpful.
