Great place. Food is delicious. People are really nice. You pick up to go orders from the market side and they tempt you with all the delicious sweets and meats and other goods they have stocked. Ask the cashier for one thing you should sample that you like - sweets, beer, liquor, cooked stuff, whatever. You won’t be disappointed. Come back often and keep them around.

First time trying Serbian food and they were great! Definitely coming back to try other dishes. They have a cozy and chill vibe and there’s also a connected store selling imported good. Pretty cool place.

Beograd offers an authentic East European dining experience. The ambiance is cozy, and the menu boasts flavorful dishes from the region. The hearty goulash and pierogi are standout choices. Service is warm, but wait times can be a bit long. Prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for exploring Eastern European cuisine.

They have more than authentic Balkan food: decorations there tell stories of Serbian communities in Chicagoland, serving collections of Yugoslavian wines are eye-catching as well.

First of all - full transparency, 90 Day Fiancé totally brought me here (thanks Jibri & Miona!). We were certainly not led astray. I do not live in the area and was fortunate enough to fit in an outdoor lunch here during a business trip. The food was delicious and unique - I’ve never had Serbian food before but it reminded me a bit of Greek food with a twist. Portions are HUGE. There’s plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and it’s connected to a nice little market as well. The pita was probably the best I’ve ever had. Service was great too. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

Cafe Beograd is the star of Balkan food in Chicago. The food is a 10/10, just like back home, the service was also excellent, the waitress was extremely nice and the bar server was very humble, the service gets a 10/10 as well. The atmosphere was great, you have a great view of the neighborhood, etc, they get a 10/10 in atmosphere. Overall, they get a 10/10 score from me.

We actually ended up here because another similar place closed earlier than what it said online and I m so glad it was like that! Everything was soo tasty and perfect!! Everything seems to be made homemade and they use quality ingredients because it tastes amazing, we were so full in the best way! We also got the potato burek and it was fresh, crunchy outside , soft inside and big portion too! ( we kept some for the next day and it was still perfect) Totally recommend if you re craving eastern european food, this is the place to try!!

Delicious food that is very meat forward. Lots of grilled dishes, savory crepes, platters and a huge dessert menu. Small but interesting food store attached. Outside seating also available. Enjoy a leisurely meal here and also kitchen is open late.

If you are a nostalgic Serb missing some food from home, you've found the right place. The cevapi and palacinke (with eurocrem 🤤) were especially good.

After a concert the night before, Cafe Beograd had us taken care of! Amazing food, amazing service, and a warm inviting atmosphere. I had a Baileyness and a sweet crepe and they were fab!! Thank you for having us and I can't wait to come back!!!

The food was great, but it seem like they were short-handed when we visited. If you never had Serbian food; I would recommend the Beograd Extra special, which has lots of different food to try. (this dish is for 5 to 6 people) In the end, the food was worth the wait, and would come back for more, hoping they are better staff next time. Thank you!

We drove by and saw the mural on the side of the building and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed! The cevapi, kajmak, burek, palacinke and Jafa cake made us feel like we were back in Europe. Great service and atmosphere too! If you love Serbia, Bosnia, or Croatia you will love this restaurant. We will be back!!

Cute, friendly and welcoming place to try Serbian cuisine, desserts and espresso/coffee. They have a bar, front patio and you can shop Serbian specialties grocery items. Ordered vegetarian Panini, cucumber salad, and chicken wings. Enjoyed it all.

Delicious Serbian food. Had the mini shared plate and the burek split between two of us - couldn’t finish it. The meats were delicious but that sausage was a step above.

I’ve been here twice for lunch/dinner, and I’m consistently blown away by the authenticity and quality of the food, as well as the friendly and welcoming staff. I’ll be back for more, and I’ll definitely be bringing friends. Also, I’ll be sure to check out the market next time!!
