Seriously, how many other free, outdoor tracks can you think of that are of this quality? It's popular, but not overly crowded, and the lights allow for use well into the evenings.

Awesome tracks. Perfect for an early morning jog. There are about 4 soccer and football fields and one major race track. I really lived the race track. Olympic standard. The fields were very inviting as well. If only I had a team to play soccer with in Chicago.

Very beautiful track! Many great things about it, and the area itself, which sits in between Montrose Harbor & Montrose Beach, which are two key landmarks on the beloved Northside of Chicago. As a fitness enthusiast, I'm excited about the multiple activities in this sector that you can do; along with running on this track. There are opportunities for a hill workout at Cricket hill, which sits right next to this track; a swim at the beach; soccer; flag football; skate boarding; and softball. All areas are very accessible via the Lakefront trail, and less than 300 meters from each other. Here at this track you can find many of our local runners; running groups, and some college athletes doing their major workouts. During the football season you can find the peewee leagues playing football games; along with soccer leagues playing in the area as well. Definitely a jewel located in the Uptown neighborhood, and well kept with no outside madness. If you want peace & fitness combined then look no further, because this location brings it.

One of my favorite places in the city. You won’t find any public tracks anywhere as high quality as this one. And when you get bored of running in circles you can run up a hill, take a walk, bike ride or swim.

This is a beautiful park with a fantastic track surface that's only about a year old. If you're looking to run on an actual 400m track with a safe surface, this is it!

Really nice track open to the public. If your planning to run some serious intervals, get there before the crowds.

This track has some great spring for a public track. Awesome location and never gets too windy. You can clock a warm up run on the lakefront trail and then afterwards run some lactic threshold hills right next to it

A wonderful little spot along the beach. My boys needed to train and had the opportunity to do so. Very friendly people. Very safe.
