😠 The fact that their students deemed it acceptable to draw swastikas on their legs during lacrosse games should reflect the schools morals and priorities. Anti-semitism should not be something that people have to worry about at sports games. People often mention school, Lake, Catholic, team,

It makes me sad to see so many of the negative reviews about this school. Personally, I had a great experience attending Lake Catholic and I would recommend it to any upcoming freshmen, especially those involved in the performing arts. Most of the people who gave the school low ratings or negative reviews were not involved in the performing arts department and it shows. Mr. Posey, Mr. Slike, Mrs. Bretz, and all of the staff and students involved down band hall made my high school career the best 4 years of my life and i couldn’t be thankful enough for my experiences. Being in a community that is so fun, accepting, and inspiring has truly helped me to grow into the confident, hard working, and determined person I am today. Through the many activities I participated in down band hall, I learned what it takes to succeed inside and outside of the classroom. If you are considering sending your kid to Lake Catholic, please disregard the negative reviews on google and ask a current or prior student about their experiences face to face. The majority of people I know have loved their experience at Lake Catholic, and would love to tell you about all of the great things it has to offer. If you are sending your kid to Lake Catholic in the future, please heavily encourage them to get involved in the performing arts, whether it be piano or guitar classes, participating in band or choir, or even being involved in the plays or musicals. I can guarantee that it will greatly impact their Lake Catholic experience for the better, and it will be something you will not regret :) Deciding to go to Lake Catholic was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I will be forever grateful for the friendships I've gained, opportunities I've been given, and memories that will last a life time!

They let players wear swastikas painted on their legs during sports events. Disgusting and trashy.

Football team and family was rude. The football players kept distracting the boys every time they went to make a touchdown they would be rude the family would be rude. I get it’s a play off game but do really gotta be that rude. Not even to mention after the game they were throwing it in our face, our coaches were trying to talk to our boys but couldn’t hear because of the disrespect the football team has.

I am simply disappointed in this school! Not at all a good quality private school! Some of my friends went there and when I met up with them a year later they turned all rude and mean. Does not focus on academics. Choose a different school!

Charlie Fuller the former principal was a joke and an embarrassment. He was forced to leave the school due to the outrage of parents. He assaulted a student of a rival highschool and ran Lake Catholic into the ground. I would not recommend sending yoyr children here as the school is a shell of it's former self.

Beyond disgusted and saddened with my Alma Mater Lake Catholic High School. The punishment instituted for the students who brought dishonor to our schools name will only receive a mere slap on the wrist and will most likely still receive their High School diploma which will bare the name of my beloved Alma Mater. When I was a student at this institution which I once was proud to have attended, I witnessed multiple fellow students get kicked out for lesser infractions. I guess times have changed at Lake Catholic on how they deal with discipline. Words cannot describe how I am feeling as someone who not only was an Alumnus but as someone who lost family in The Holocaust. I will never donate money to this institution nor recommend this school to anyone. I am very disappointed with the leadership of this school and how this was handled.

I did not go to this school, I know others that did, even before the swastika controversy, this school was hot garbage and they did not have a great experience there. Avoid.

We began using Lake Catholic in1991. By the time all 4 of the kids were through, it was 2005. We could not be more proud of our kids. Eldest, a medical biller-coder trained at Bryant & Stratton works for a large insurance provider in Virginia. Eldest son, an aerospace engineer self-taught in CAD. Middle son, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, employed at a large supplier of custom kitchen remodeling (counters, cabinetry), and the third son, with double BA in Accounting and Business Administration, an accountant for Progressive Insurance. What kind of preparation do you think they received at Lake Catholic? We also participated in Show Choir, Symphonic Choir, did all the stage shows (and not Just our girl) and were part of the wrestling team. I wrote and distributed travel directories for every school the team travelled to. (Go Cougars! But don't Get Lost!) We worked Bingo - year after year after year. How much did the 'complainers' put into working side-by-side with the School staff on their kid's behalf? You get out what you put in. Several years ago one of the boys was over for a visit and as he went out the door he pulled back in for a moment and said, "BTW Mom and Dad, thank you for the awesome education you gave us. I have met too many people who can't do simple math in their head, and can't read well enough to fill out job applications!" 'NUFF SAID !!' Mary K.

Wonderful school. The negative reviews are people judging off of one incident that the school quickly and correctly addressed.

My daughter attends this school and loves it! We're very pleased with the academic instruction she receives as well as the caring/family-oriented atmosphere. Prior to LCHS, my daughter was not engaged and didn't care for school, but LCHS has changed her attitude about her education. We're blessed to attend LCHS. My oldest attends now, and we plan for her 2 younger sisters to attend in the future. Thank You LCH!!!!

4/5 stars because various sources keep asking me for money. Other than that, it’s just a high school. If you put a bunch of teenagers in the same building it’s just going to be problematic. Not the administration’s fault.
