This
little
tavern
was
such
a
treat.
We
had
fried
oysters,
the
house
burger,
and
the
duck
confit
-
all
three
were
absolutely
delicious!
The
oysters
were
such
a
perfect
combination
of
textures,
plated
in-shell
with
a
creamy
sauce,
the
oyster
set
on
top
of
that,
and
topped
with
perfectly
salty
Ikura.
The
burger
was
a
moist
and
savory
affair,
the
confit
was
perfectly
tender,
and
our
wine
and
cocktail
choices
(the
house
red
and
the
Portmanteau
cocktail)
were
both
tasty
on
their
own,
and
a
great
pairing
with
the
dishes.
Our
servers
were
very
sweet,
and
atmosphere-wise,
this
elevated
tavern
-
though
buzzing
enough
to
require
a
reservation,
even
on
a
Monday
night
-
was
actually
an
excellent
setting
for
intimate
conversation.
We
didn't
have
to
scream
at
each
other
across
the
table,
but
rather
could
beat
each
other
at
reasonable
voices
alive
the
music
and
ambient
sounds
of
the
restaurant.
Overall,
a
great
little
spot
that
I'll
definitely
try
again.
Definitely
for
drinks
at
the
bar
and
more
fried
oysters,
and
likely
for
the
dinner
atmosphere
as
well.
