We had a great experience! We had the siding completely redone and a couple windows installed. There was constant communication from the quote all the way to installation. The guys were very knowledgeable and fast. You could tell that they were doing things the right way and they cleaned up every day. They were very clear about what they needed access to and very professional. Would highly recommend this company!

I hired Bill of Preferred Exteriors to replace some of the hardy plank siding on my house and to paint the entire exterior of the house. Bill was quick to respond when I inquired about his service and came out to have a look within a couple of days. He spent a good amount of time looking at the entire exterior with us, listening to what we wanted done and openly giving us his expert thoughts on what needed to be done. He then gave me a detailed estimate of the cost as well as a time line for the work to be done. The work was completed within the timeline as Bill proposed. Bill kept us informed about what work would be occurring at every stage. His crews arrived on time each day, completed their work and cleaned up after. They were polite, easy to work with and highly responsive when I had a question, kept us informed of their progress and made sure to bring to our attention anything we needed to know or see. Bill also did multiple quality control inspections while the work was being done and a final walk through inspection with us when the project was completed. We felt the price paid was competitive, Bill and his team were professionals, and we were very happy with the final product. We would recommend Preferred exteriors and use them again.

I contacted Bill to have my siding replaced. He came out and gave a very competive bid, had good information and explained everything that they would do. He kept in touch on everything that was going on and also came out through the duration of the job to make sure everything was going to plan. I can't begin to say how great his crew worked, Jarad and his helper (sorry I don't remember his name) both did a great job and very professional. I asked to have no seems and shingle gable ends, it came out great. I would definitely use them again.

We had a great experience with Preferred Exteriors. They replaced our failing LP siding on three sides of our home with Hardie Plank siding. They added design features on the front of the home which had existing Hardie siding. Bill, the owner, had great recommendations for adding design details to update the look of our home within our budget. They were able to start our project within a couple of weeks. The crew worked efficiently and Bill performed quality inspections and communicated with us frequently through the project. Bill is very responsive to questions during the process and is committed to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

Very impressed. Preferred Exteriors replaced the siding on my house as a result of an insurance claim. Bill really knows his stuff. He worked with my insurance company to help me get it fixed right. He sent me regular update messages and videos throughout the job. His crew worked efficiently and the level of workmanship was exceptional. The amount of flashing installed to protect from water infiltration is amazing. I am certain I will not need to replace this siding again. We are so glad to have found Bill and Preferred Exteriors. We had water coming into our living room from outside during a particularly bad storm. When we determined it wasn't a faulty window but rather poor installation and age (bought the house in 2021), we decided on a whole re-side. We called several contractors and after reviewing the quotes, his was clearly the most value for our money. His lead time was only 4 weeks (others anywhere from 8 to 15) and his crew was very professional. As with any major construction project there were some small hiccups, but Bill addressed them quickly and satisfactorily. We needed to replace a window header and several sheets of plywood underlayment due to the existing water damage, and the change order to do so was very reasonable. He was also kind enough to accommodate our last minute request to install a new front door before the siding went on the front. He was in constant communication with us from start to finish. Overall our experience was very good and I would definitely recommend Bill & Preferred Exteriors for any siding replacement or repair needs. 👍

The siding on our house was from when it was originally built nearly 20 years ago, and it showed. Bill, the owner, was very prompt and helpful in explaining the procedure for replacing the siding and his frequent visits to inspect the (awesome) work the crew was doing showed impressive commitment to the quality of their work. The crew was super friendly and hard-working, I was shocked how much work they were able to get done in the pouring rain. Shout out to Jared, for being very communicative and patient when they needed our input on something. They did a great job on cleaning everything up, and overall we couldn't be happier with the work that they did.

They were working on the house across the street from mine, and the owners were happy with the work, so I asked for a bid. The price was right and the recommended shake and belly band look really updated the look of our house. Bill the owner did quality checks almost every day, and communicated via text anytime it was needed. Bill and Preferred Exteriors replaced some sections of 20+ year old LP siding that was failing. They were fast, responsive, and a good value for the money. We would use them again!

We went with Preferred Exteriors for a small scale siding repair job, because they had good reviews, and gave a good cost estimate. They were booked out for several weeks, but the owner kept in contact with me and was very responsive with any questions I had. When the job started they found rotted boards beneath the siding. They cut away the rot, added some sealant to the area around the rot, and the owner brought in new boards to replace the rotten ones, before putting up the new siding. The team was friendly, professional, and efficient. The whole job was done in just a few hours, and they cleaned up after the job so well that you could hardly tell they had been there. We are very pleased with their work, and happily recommend them for siding.

I am selling my home in Steamboat Landing and I had to replace the Lp siding so I called Preferred Exteriors Bill came out himself instead of a salesman. The job was promptly done as I had time restraints for selling. The crew was very courteous, clean and did quality work on a difficult house. Bill the owner of Preferred Exteriors came out to inspect my older Lp siding. I was intending on fixing the bottom with a belly band but he was honest enough to say I didn't need it. He recommended a much cheaper easier option which I highly appreciate. I am a retired army veteran on a fixed income I recommend him highly because of his honesty if you need any siding work done .He won't take advantage of you. Give him a call.

Our home inspection called out some potential issues with the siding and recommended we have it looked it. We called Preferred Exteriors and Bill, the owner, inspected our siding and let us know that it was in mostly good shape but that we would want some painting done. He recommended a painter. We appreciated Bill's honest opinion and are glad we can get some more use out of our current siding. I would not hesitate to call Bill again if I have any siding or roofing needs.

I (a widow who is smart enough to do her due diligence before buying a new home in a hot real estate market) recently made an offer on an expensive home in the Seattle area with EIFS siding which I knew nothing about. A little research indicated that EIFS could be a big problem in the rainy climate of the Pacific Northwest. I could not find a qualified EIFS inspector or a contractor in the Seattle area and was referred to Preferred Exteriors in Vancouver, WA. I contacted the company and Bill, the owner was kind enough to call me on a holiday weekend to share his expertise. He looked at the photos of the house in question and his input was invaluable. I only wish that his company did work in the Seattle area because I have the utmost confidence in his assessment of the situation.

Bill was so helpful in the whole process of getting our siding fixed. We had an arsonist try to burn our house down, thankfully it only caused smoke damage and some minor burning. The siding had been on our house for a long time and Bill helped us in approaching our insurance company in not settling for a piecemeal fix it job. That would have diminished the value of our home. So after many months of negotiations with our insurance company, they agreed to fix the whole back side of the house. Once the insurance agreed to pay for it, Bill was out here introducing Chris to us and letting us know the whien would begin. It was quick. Bill kept in constant contact with us, throughout the whole process. Even if there was going to be a delay, he always communicated what was happening. Chris, the one who did the job is amazing also. Very quick, hard worker, polite and kind young man. He would clean up after himself everyday that he worked.
