Thank you Jules for the great horseback riding experience. It was nice enjoying a peaceful ride while engaging in conversation about life. Fiona my horse was on her best behavior 'kudos' to her. I would like to express how the horses were very clean, well mannered and just beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place, they offer bug spray to ward off bugs and I guess it works. I had no problems with bugs on my person. I will definitely be revisiting this location on my next nature trip to San Diego.

The girl that helped my son with the pony ride is super sweet. However, when you advertise a petting zoo and the cost is $40, people are probably going to expect to pet more than just goats. Yeah, the goats are cute. But when I think petting zoo, I think multiple different animals. $40, is a little steep to pet some goats and for 30 mins at that. I definitely wouldn't tell my friends to check it out and I wouldn't return.

Fond memories that I will cherish for a long time from my trip to San Diego with my bro and my new sister in law. Our horses, Gracie, Honey and Pamela were a perfect match to our temperaments. Bianca, the trainer is not only very passionate about her craft but is also extremely knowledgeable and has a great eye for photography. My horse Gracie knew exactly what to do through out the excursion. She was extremely well trained, a real pro. I would have loved to have trotted more but that all depends on what your overall group level is and I came out of it in pretty bad shape (good pain) by the end of it anyways! Looking forward on riding the bull on my next visit😋

Friendly staff, the horses were great. It was my boyfriend's first ride and it couldn't have give nicer. It takes about 50 minutes to get out to the beach and since it was his first time we decided to go for 2 hours to get a little of everything. Now he can't wait for his next ride.

My girlfriends and I decided on San Diego to go on a girls trip, we were visiting from Miami. When looking for things to do beach horse riding came up and Pony Land had the best reviews, it certainly didn't disappointed. Once you arrived you sign paperwork, they provide you with a little bag where you can place your belongings (our heavy bags stood over their office). Next they choose the horses and you are off the barn. Bianca was our instructor, we could have not asked for anyone better than her. She took the time to explained and talked to us about the area, the horses and as girls we talked a little bit about ourselves. For us it was fascinating as Mexico is literally right there. The sunset at the beach was beautiful... we took the 2 hour ride, Bianca took plenty of nice pics with our cellphones as you are not aloud to do it yourself. Very relaxing, entertaining experience. Only cons we found is that you are not really aloud to trout or take pics with your cellphone, obviously for safety reasons, the horse may get excited about running and next thing you know you may get injured. Other than that it was a beautiful experienced. Definitely an experience to have in SD. Thanks Bianca and Pony Land.

Thought I was going to get a pony but pleasantly surprised it was a horse (Gretta). My daughter love the sound of horses and as she was riding Gretta was conversing with her friends around the ranch. Call ahead and make a reservation even same day. I got in 45 minutes before (probably a cancelation) for the cash only (specified on the website) for the pony ride. I wanted to do the petting zoo but they were all booked

This was the worst experience Of my life first the horses started fine was about 10 mins into the ride then the horse started to get disobedient the horse started to get way to out of control not listening to anything me or the worker was trying to get the horse to do the horse completely turn the other way and started to run back the opposite direction of the ride I keep trying to get the horse to stop horse continued not to listen the person who was directing us keep beating on the horses causing the horse to be even more mad and irritated I am completely Traumatized I never want to get on another horse due to this experience the office manager made ever excuse to why this happened never once said sorry anything she told me that maybe I don’t need to get back on another horse was her own response to me about the whole situation SMH!!!!!!!!! I definitely wouldn’t recommend no one go here and if you do don’t use the white horse pearl and I can’t remember the other white horse name

Awesome private guided trail ride! Our guide (Nicole) was great and very knowledgeable. Horses were obviously well-cared-for. Excellent value for the money. We did the 1-hour ride, and even saw a coyote cross our path.

It was quite an adventure for me. I’ve done paragliding, skydiving, bungee jumping, zip lines etc. This since I’ve never been on the horse before gave me at first lots of stress but after little while the horses become my best buddies!🤠 The employees are very nice and helpful good chatting with them. I do like the area it has very unique vibe.

Loved the beach trail ride. 2.5 hours tour through a easy horse trail leading to the soutgern part of the amazing imperial beach was worth every penny and every second. Our guide Charlotte was very knowledgable and friendly. She taught us how to control the horse - also gave a lot of info about horses, the rides and the surroundings. The horses - Fiona and Greta - were very gentle and adorable. Ponylamd also arranged a nice picnic table for us upon our request - which was a nice finishing touch. Also felt fortunate to see a few days old baby peacock and a male peakock spreading it's gorgeous tail! The small petting zoo has llamas, goats (some adorable baby goats), small horses, camels, emu, donkeys and more. The business boasts 40 or more horses of different sizes, colors and age. Saw a beautiful white horse which used to drive carriages in disneyland. Overall we had a fantastic time.
