This is a adorable, small, kitschy cafe hidden on the corner on Park before University. It's easy to miss, but you will be missing out if you don't come here. I have had a hard time finding good coffee in the area, I don't like ending up at Starbucks. But I'm glad I tried this place because the coffee was great. I liked the croissant and I want to try some of the other pastries they have. They have a good selection of coffee, some European food, and European chocolate. The guy working was nice and he whipped up the drinks super fast. This place deserves all the stars and it will likely be my new coffee spot. β˜•

Cute, unassuming little shop with a cozy, shady front patio and mini-bottega; many products from Central Europe. The barista was super friendly and told us how this place has been open for over six yearsβ€” it’s really hidden in plain sight! Great Americanos. Fresh pastries! Sometimes, quality and freshness beats huge selection.

Extraordinary place. It has that "living room" vibe, you can find some antique and vintage stuff and buy a four-shot espresso for the price of a dobio. It feels like home.

Great atmosphere, feels sort of like a New York bodega but the coffee they use to make their iced coffee is trash - the latte was good though!

Great espresso with Serbian influence. Their little cakes and cookies are very tasty, especially the honey cakes and baklava! Welcoming atmosphere with patio seating.

The owner is a great guy and the place itself is just as nice. Quality over quantity on any given day, or morning better said. Spotless clean, great coffee of many kinds, low key and personable service. Ambiance is relaxing and ambient will take you back into the good old days with antiques scattered throughout the small yet comfy and cozy place. Simply put, pass it by and miss out on what a true worry free coffee experience should feel like.

Cute little coffee house near Balboa Park. Friendly and colorfully decorated. A favorite or Serbian and Croatian expats from the former Yugoslavia.

This coffee was simple, but complex, well made and delicious. Also grabbed a bear-claw that was good, although, there were a few more items on the menu I still need to try. I look forward to visiting this place again in the near future.

Having recently moved to San Diego and being Serbian, I was looking for places in the area to make me feel closer to home. The inside of the cafe is much like a small international store stocked with many popular brands from former Yugoslavia. There are nice cultural touches of Eastern Orthodox iconography scattered throughout, lending an almost homely feel. I would recommend the Serbian coffee if you are up for it (likely not the type of coffee you’ve had up to this point in your life) and grabbing a pastry. Pair it with a Radenska or Knjaz Milos sparkling water and you will be living a surrogate South Slavic life for half an hour

Very Mom and Pop coffee shop. Being on a cane, they offer to bring my coffee to the table. Always busy. It's not just about the coffee. The staff make sure you are comfortable.

Fun little spot I just happened to come across for an afternoon cappuccino. Run by a nice owner from Serbia. Lots of different European treats to try next time I come around!

Eastern European coffee shop and pastries. It has a welcoming vibe and regulars stop by to play chess, catch up, and watch the foot traffic on Park. It's not like the fancier coffee shops nearby, but it's just right.

This small local hole-in-the-wall coffee shop is an underrated gem. Plenty of outdoor seating. The owner is kind and friendly and the coffee is delicious. I ordered the Charcoal and it was delightfully sweet and full of flavor.
