Amazing! Where do I start? From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a lovely lady at the front named Jennifer that made me feel comfortable about getting anesthesia for my first time. From there every nurse was so caring and nice. Nurse Shelly and Nurse Bridget were so amazing from the beginning until the end. They made me feel at home and helped me relax. My anesthesiologist, Dr. Shah, also helped call me down and made me feel safe. The anesthesiologist nurse was such a sweetheart, and also made me laugh, I believe her name was Kathy. Everyone was so amazing to be around and truly made experience great. Also shout out to Jessica, Stephanie, Sandy, and Ginger for all of your help. Thank you so much Dr. Quinn for the successful surgery and to all of the nurses!

We had a wonderful experience at South KC Surgicenter. My 7 year old daughter was very anxious about having her procedure done and they took amazing care of her. Dr. Steer, the anesthesiologist, had the most amazing bedside manner. She was engaging and explained everything to us. When she wheeled Georgia back, my daughter was smiling and felt safe in their care. Thank you to the entire staff! We would definitely choose this team in the future.

I had a wonderful experience at the surgery center and my nurse Danny and Shelly were both amazing. The entire staff from checking in, to my discharge were all very caring and attentive. I would definitely go back for any procedures in the future. A big Thank You to everyone!!!

This is my second surgery within the last eight months that I have had through Dr. Quinn…. Which was held at the surgi center. I’ll never be able to speak highly enough of the staff at this facility. From the moment I step to the door to be greeted, Jason at the registration, being handed off to Bridgette whom gives nothing but warmth & comfort, along the way with Dani, Dr. Shaw….& so many others that had firsthand with my care. I wish I could remember all of their names even though I can definitely picture each of their faces! ;) They were truly outstanding and couldn’t ask for a better care team!! They truly are a great team of nurses & professionals who I truly appreciate!!! …& Dr Quinn did another beautiful operation!! Many accolades to him & his entire staff!!! Thank you, thank for the great experience!!

All staff was very nice and courteous and kind! Facility was clean and comfortable. They got you back in a timely matter and got you ready very quickly. Only negative was surgeon did not come out and talk to family members, but that had nothing to do with the facility. Would definitely go there again for my outpatient surgeries!

Every minute of my experience was positive. Unfortunately I can’t remember everyone’s names but every single person who took care of me were professional, nice, kind and had exceptional skills. The medical assistant is who I remember the most and she put me at ease immediately. This was my first surgery and I was a nervous wreck. She had me smiling and she was just the type of person who instantly made you feel like everything would be okay. So thankful for her. My husband said the discharge went very good and his questions were answered thoroughly and they didn’t rush him or me out the door. If I ever have to have surgery again, this is where I’d want to have it! Thank you all!!

Everyone is so kind. My appointment was right on time and the nurses and all the staff were incredible. This is my second time having surgery there and I would do it again and again! This was the absolute best experience in the medical field of my life. They treated me with so much compassion and respect. I wasn’t scared at all for my procedure. The people that cared for me were so caring and gentle. From the moment you go in there they are so kind. I only want to do surgeries there! There was a little baby there too and they were so wonderful to that mama and baby.

Fantastic care from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. My 5 year-old son was treated with kindness and respect. Everyone we encountered had a pleasant demeanor and explained things in ways my son could understand. A special shout-out to Jason who worked in registration. He had a wonderful sense of humor and had my son giggling from the get-go. His positivity made a potentially nerve-wracking experience totally manageable. A true 5-star experience!

Had Hernia repair surgery here and they took great care of me. Made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for this procedure! 5/5 stars!

Excellent care from the time I checked in throughout the procedure all the way to me being wheeled out to the car! I appreciate everyone at South Kansas City Surgery Center. I was even assisted by other staff that had there own patients. I know no one wants to have surgery but if you do this is the place to be! Dr. Narciso and his staff are amazing!!!

This place was amazing! It always shows when people in the medical field love their jobs. They were so professional and compassionate and attentive to details….very, very friendly staff. Very warm and welcoming The second I walked into the place. I felt comfortable the entire time as they made me laugh through all the prep. Post surgery and back at home i still got text messages and phone calls asking how I was doing. They deserve way more than five stars. So much gratitude I have to be able to have had my surgery done there!!!

This was the best hospital experience I’ve ever had. From the very beginning with scheduling my procedure, checking in the morning of the procedure. The nurses and doctors are so thorough in making sure I had the best care possible. I highly recommend the South Kansas City Surgical Center. I had surgery there both yesterday and one year ago. First off, Jason Goolsby at the front desk makes what could be a stressful experience so much better! His smile and his kindness put me at ease and really made my day. He was the highlight of the whole experience! The nurses were all so kind and knowledgeable. They even laughed with me, which I so appreciated! I texted my family during my experience there to tell them I was being doted on like royalty. And you can tell that they genuinely care, and also that they enjoy working with each other. Thank you nurses! The anesthesiologist was very knowledgeable- but also friendly and kind. He took his time explaining everything and listened to me questions- even the unrelated ones about his adorable scrub cap. I really enjoyed our communication and felt very safe placing my painless nap in his hands. And my physician, Dr. Mizrahi, is absolutely the best there is. He takes the time to explain the procedure and aftercare, and it never feels rushed. I am 100 percent confident in his skills, education and preparedness. And wow- kindest doctor I've ever encountered. I trust him fully. And I can tell he is a really good person both on and off the job. My experiences there have been great! 10/5 stars if that's possible. They are absolutely the best!

The staff was amazing. I took my 3 year old to get tonsils and adenoids removed and could not have been more accommodated and comfortable. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Loved it. Thank you

From the moment that I walked in until they took me to my car, the entire staff was absolutely amazing. They made me feel so at ease and comfortable and answered all my questions like they haven't heard them probably a hundred times! I can't say enough good things about the people and the facility. I just wish I could go there for any procedure that I might need in the future. Definitely a 12 star facility, not just 5!

Excellent! Caring and knowledgeable staff, everyone was friendly and welcoming which is really important when you are anxious about having surgery. I have a lot of allergies and they were careful to communicate to every single person who would be caring for me during my visit. I would highly recommend!

I went in for a procdure at the South Kansas City Surgicenter and was very pleased with everything. Everyone I encountered from the office staff, to the nurses, to the anesthesiologist was so nice. Everything was explained to me and they answered any question I had. They took great care of me while I was there and made sure that we knew all of my post op info before I left. They also called the next morning to check on me and make sure I was doing good. I definitely recommend them.

The staff at SKCSC are stellar. I have had two survives there this here and they are professional, efficient. Kind, and safe. Even with hiccups in the process they take care of things and make sure things work out. From registration to the pre-op staff to the OR team, all amazing. I would definitely recommend them.

Dr John Quinn and his team are absolutely amazing, it was my first surgery and first time ever being put under anesthesia and they explained everything thoroughly and patiently talked through things with me easing any anxiety or worry. Highly recommend Dr Quinn and his team.

Top notch care! Very personalized! From the first phone call, through a mandatory covid test and from check in through being walked out of the door to go home, I felt well cared for. I wish I could remember everyone's names because they all deserve recognition!

The man at the front desk is the absolute best. He has a great sense of humor and seems like a great man overall. It’s always lovely to encounter him. The nurse was very nice and helpful also. She couldn’t get my IV started (which freaked me out) she continues to walk me through the “finding a vein process” even after asking her not to but, I think she was very nervous. My recovery nurse was the best, sweetest lady in the world and went above and beyond for me. I miss her today. 🥰 Phylis was the head Anesthesiologist and she was very knowledgeable and walked us through everything. Even shared a few stories together. She was amazing. Thank you to all. Your kindness goes so very far. I will remember you all, whom I had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you!

I had a fantastic experience at South KC Surgicenter. I had my sinus surgery preformed there by Dr. Ellis. He was very thorough and invested in me, as well as all his other patients. He even takes the time to call all of his patients the evening of their surgery, to make sure they are doing well. Not only does he go the extra mile and exceed expectations, but so does his staff. I have never been greeted by anything other than a smile. Going into surgery I was a little nervous, but the nurses and anesthesiologist were there continually to put me at ease, both pre and post surgery. They take every step necessary to give their patients the best experience possible.

My entire experience here was wonderful. The gentleman that checked my in was a delightful and friendly which helped calm me. The nursing staff and anesthesia staff were amazing. Beautiful, wonderful, clean facility. Every staff member I encountered was sweet, smiling, and happy to help me. Every nurse was simply the sweetest thing. My anesthesia team was communicative and reassuring. My doctor was just great and knowledgeable. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I’ve had dozens of surgeries over the past 20+ years (burn related), and this was my first time at this facility yesterday. The entire staff and medical team from registration to post-op were amazing! Everyone was so friendly, listened to all my concerns and questions, excellent communication between nurses and docs, and with me and my husband. They kept me comfortable the whole 6 hours I was there, kept me smiling and laughing, and I will definitely try to have any future surgeries here again!!

Every single person I dealt with was so kind, patent, and caring. From check in to discharge. I flew from Los Angeles, Ca to have my procedure here. I am so happy I did! I was the first case of the day so there bright and early and greeted by friendly smiles even at the crack of dawn! My preregistration process was clear and thorough so checking in was a breeze. My nurse, Lisa let me know every step of the way what we were doing and how things were going. I was nervous and she talked with me and made the wait so much better. The anesthesia team was the same, Dr. Shah was thorough and managed my post nausea extremely well. The facility is clean and bright, I’m thrilled with my experience overall.

Shelly, Rene, Bridgett and Pat were all wonderful. They did everything they could to make me comfortable and answered my questions. Dr John ___ the anesthesiologist was very personable and willing to answer any other questions I might have. Professional caring staff that really do want the best for you. They tell you what to expect, introduce you to everyone that will assist in any manner. They don't make you feel uncomfortable and they make sure you and your ride know exactly how to take care of the individual having surgery after you leave their location. Called the next day to ensure you were not having problems and to answer any question you might have. I feel very blessed to have had these people looking out for me. Thank you all!

I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth and relaxing my whole surgery experience was. The whole staff, from registration to recovery was attentive and made everything so relaxing and even had me laughing even though I was a ball of nerves.
