Recently I was there for the Just For Her Expo. Oh what a fun day! The restrooms were kept cleaned & stocked (downstairs). I liked the art they had on display on the lower level. Hadn’t seen that before. The event ran smoothly as usual. Normally I’ve been here for religious conventions so it was interesting to see how the set up was for this! For over 200 vendors, it ran smooth like butta!! Everyone was nice & engaging. This is a great spot for this event due to their being sooo much space. Especially during COVID still. The decor from the moment you step off the escalator was captivating, feminine, & got you excited to see more! The convention center is in a great location just off the highway. Close to a Children’s Hospital, & plenty of food & gas around. Nothing bad to say! Thanks!!

I went for a business convention, and the place is huge. I was impressed with the setup and the latest technology they have. I felt i was sitting at the parliament.

Very nice convention center! Ideal for regional and smaller events. Visited here to attend the vision event in March 2023 and very happy with the venue. On par with many of the larger places in Orlando and Las Vegas and Anaheim California. New and modern and there's free parking too! Comfortable atmosphere, large indoor spaces, classroom sizes are ideal and relatively quiet between the walls (not a lot of noise coming from the adjacent rooms). Looking forward to returning next year. Thanks!

Great place to work, people who care about each other and work hard to keep this machine going. Really talented staff, who can assist each visitor in hosting about any event big or small. Voted the best small convention center in north America! For great reason.

We went for the boat show. The show room is large with lots of lights. Bathroom were cleaner then the showroom so that’s a plus.

The management is terrible for vendors. They will make you park far far away. They do not have storage for you. If you need to bring more products over, you have to run between your warehouse and the showroom. They make you park far far away. The show manager Marc Gray made me hand-carry all 30 cartons. My booth is on the other side of the showroom. I had to make 30 runs. It’s ok, only 4 miles. The show manager Marc Gray told me I can not use a dolly. That’s for customer safety. In fact, many customers brought a small cart with them. Other workers from the back room used small carts to carry water to the bars. Since I have to hand carry 30 heavy cartons and make 30 runs, the chance I would crash into a customer is higher than if I use a dolly. That’s common sense! Not hard to understand. I went back to the office to try to let Marc Gary know, but he was not there. I told other workers if I accidentally crashed into a customer and case an injury during the hand-carry runs. It is on Marc Gary and the management. I tried to be careful.

Very non-forthcoming about the jobs/gigs they hire for. They advertise for one thing and expect another. Also appeared 75% of prime AND tipped shifts were given to males. The division was nowhere near even. And the BOH is just plain dirty. I didn't want to touch anything there. I would have worked as a bartender (10+ years experience) if it had been an option but was booked as a server and expected to be a bus girl basically. Not okay. Luis their "leader" was just plain rude, condescending, and unpleasant in general. Acted as if I were putting him out by showing up. I literally felt uncomfortable due to his attitude towards others in general. Obviously, I canceled the shift. I'm not bussing dishes for bottom pay cause I'm a girl and being talked down to by Luis.

The convention center is very spacious and clean with two floors. We went to a baby expo JBF pop up event admission was affordable $2 per person . We got some great deals, car seat that supports my son as he grows. Saved $100 and we picked up a cute rocking horse, teether, stroller play toys, and some music toys. We spent $160 bucks it it was bought at a store it been total of at least 300

Allie and her team helped make our 2023 Heartland Model Car Nationals go smoothly again this year. Anything we needed, it was done within 30 minutes and this was while they had the 3 day Christmas Con taking up the complete top level. Hats off to the WHOLE OPCC team from management to the cleaning staff for a great weekend!

This is one of the nicest convention centers. Went to the KC regional quilt show. Nice venue. Only thing is lack of reasonably priced "good" food.

This is my second time at the overland park convention center, my first time was pre-covid for Brickworld Kc. This time it was for Naka-Kon. Both times I had a quite enjoyable experience and even the food was a great value for the price. I highly recomend their salads as they are massive and worth the price their charging. Many of my photos are from their Naka-Kon event.

It is really an awesome experience. So many vendors. I do wish there were more places to stop and take a rest. It was lots of fun.

It was a beautiful, capacious, relaxing space! The hallways were wide and free of clutter. The decor was diverse, strategic, and plentiful. The seating was well spaced and comfortable. The restrooms were easily accessible on all levels, clean, and spacious.

Friendly staff. AC is out and it’s so hot in the lobby. The food is basically canned ingredients, nuked and dressed up. Marriott. Do better.

Great facility for an event. I have conduct many auction galas here and have also been an attendee and vendor of many events. Great staff and well maintained.

The center was fine. The show was not what I expected. It was more of a home show. But no flowers. It had a wonderful display from the water garden group. Wonderful idea of water and flowers.

The Overland Park Boat Show is a great event! I go every year. I think the Overland Park Convention Center is a great venue! Easy to get to. Better then going down town and fighting for parking and walking such a long distance.

Here in the Overland Park convention center to vote 2020. The building is well maintained and clean. Friendly staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Nice addition to the area and Kansas City since opening in November of 2002.

This was a great facility with a lot of attention to detail. All of our conferences flowed quite well partly due to the convention center
