Scottish Rite is such a wonderful hospital located in Dallas, Texas. I had the privilege of learning here as a student while completing my undergraduate education and I cannot speak highly enough of the providers, nurses, and additional team members who care for the patients here. I think it's also important to acknowledge their kindness towards those who are learning. It has been many years since I had the privilege of being a student in this institution, but I have never forgotten how well I was treated as a novice learning the art of nursing practice. Thank you, Scottish Rite!

Amazing hospital with amazing doctors and staff. My daughter had to get a spinal fusion for scoliosis and we came for a second surgical opinion at Scottish Rites. Their approach allowed us to save all of my daughter's lumbar levels where other surgeons wanted to fuse to L3. The approach at Scottish Rites for this type of surgery is balance and harmony of the spine over cosmetic, which is exactly what we were looking for. I was more concerned with saving levels in her back, and so were they. The staff are amazing and went every extra step to manage my daughter pain, even numbing the skin before placing IV's. Every step of this process was made easier because they are available for any questions and already are two steps ahead of you in helping plan everything. They even helped us with referrals and getting into a Ronald Mcdonald house since we traveled here from out of state. If your child is diagnosed with scoliosis, no matter what stage, this is the place to be.

I had an amazing experience. My son had surgery here. Every single person on the staff that I came in contact with was amazing. Dr. Riccio and his team also did an awesome job with my baby’s surgery. My son has autism and every person that we came in contact with was so understanding and worked very well with him. I highly recommend

First things first, very, very clean and organized since the moment that you drop your vehicle at their parking lot. They have 2 areas that you can use to park free of charge... Which in Dallas is an A+ situation because most places, incluiding government buildings don't have a free parking arrangement... They ask you you know the set Covid 19 questions, take your temperature and the kid too, then they will give you a mask is you don't have one... Yes therebare still people without a mask...and provide you with an adult bracelet, then you will receive instructions about where you will need to go. The check in area is huge, plenty of hand sanitizer and opportunity for keeping social distance. Handle any insurance and id verification, then your kid(s) will receive a bracelet and from there you will receive instructions about the area where you will see the doctor for your appointment. Beautiful park outside, closed thanks to Covid...

Went to Scottish Rite with my granddaughter. Dr. Morris sat in the room and stated they would gladly take over her care from the Oklahoma children's hospital. However, we have asked them to take over her care and now are being pushed off. They are absolutely NO BETTER than any other hospital.

Best hospital I have been to by far! The staff is so great and helpful and the doctor and his staff of nurses genuinely care about these kids and helping them! The doctor was amazing even down to the cafeteria workers were amazing the guy made us food even though he didn't have to and they were closed he still made the food! Thank goodness he did because we were not able to eat before heading home on the bus to Abilene!

Wow! From beginning to end everything I did with Scottish Rite was great. It was so easy to get information about where to go, how to schedule, how to pay, and all those little details and that can sometimes feel overwhelming at a hospital. From the moment you walk in the doors, you are greeted with a warm smile. There are clear landmarks pointing you in the right direction and all of the staff are clearly there to help you understand what is going on, and help your child feel comfortable. I'm beyond impressed with the care my son received and the help I was given.

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we had a wonderful first visit at Scottish Rite! Everyone was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Dr. Petrasic was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had. He spent ample time with us explaining my daughters condition thoroughly. His nurse was wonderful and helpful as well! I cannot say enough good things about Scottish Rite!

Everyone is so friendly and amazing. They truly cared about me as a parent and the well-being and comfort of my child. We ended up having surgery and the OR Department explained everything in a way that I could understand. The surgery went smooth. I am so thankful for Dr. Stutz and the OR Staff.

Dr. Brooks and his entire team are top notch! From arrival to departure, they treat you with a level of courtesy, respect, kindness, and professionalism that are out of this world! His expertise and ability to easily communicate complex information quickly put at ease the anxieties of child and parent. I highly recommend Dr. Jaysson Brooks and his team!

This is hospital is very special place. Over our extended stay over the summer couldn't have been a better experience. They treat your child as their own and you feel like part of their family. If you child ever needs halo traction or anything else, i would definitely suggest taking your kids here. You won't regret it!

I could not be more grateful for this hospital. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I live in another state so I have to call a lot and the receptionist is always so friendly and helpful. I love Dr. Kim and his nurse Kristin. Kristin is always great at returning phone calls. Dr. Kim was wonderful- talked to my daughter in a way that she could understand.

We recently had an appointment for our Son. Dr Putnam was great, she took her time and explained everything so well that we really didn’t have any questions to ask. The whole visit took less than an hour (that was with needing an X-ray too), Dr Putnam was also on time for our appointment. I highly recommend her.

This is a wonderful place for children. My daughter was a patient here. The doctors; nurses; physical therapist; and volunteers were wonderful. Definitely recommend this hospital for a child in need. They made a difference in my daughters life. She was able to be more mobile once they helped her. I will be for ever grateful for their services. God Bless all of you.

From the time we walked in the hospital to the time we left everyone was so courteous and pleasant. The greeters, medical staff, X-ray techs, and physical therapist were all thorough and knowledgeable about my son’s health. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with. I’m so glad we were referred to Scottish Rite. Our visit was 9/29/23 at the Olympic Trophy quarters.

Scottish Rite has been such a blessing to us since our daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis. Every person on her care team has been so helpful, supportive, and have helped us feel comfortable and at ease with every part of this process. In what can be a scary situation for families, you know you are in the best hands the second you walk in the door.

Dr. Brooks and his staff at Scottish Rite have been amazing. My daughter had scoliosis surgery under the care of Dr. Brooks and his team, and everything was amazing. The procdure, care, and stay at the hospital was remarkable. We can't thank them enough for how blessed we were to have been at Scottish Rite with Dr. Brooks.

Was very pleased with the Frisco location. The Dallas location is another story. Was seen by the Orthopedic Specialist and was not greeted at all, and the nurse was horrible. Ended up choosing another Ortho Specialist from Children's Medical Dr. Kishan and couldn't have been more pleased with the level of professionalism and care from his office.

My Son Fractured his Fingertip. They were able to schedule us to be seen same day and the helpful and knowledgeable staff sent him home with a custom splint. Really impressed with their service.

I have never felt so welcomed and relaxed in a hospital as we did here. They are amazing! The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The doctor spent time with us to explain the surgery our child would need, details about what to expect, care for before during and after, etc. We felt so comfortable here.

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Amazing staff ( who are mostly volunteers) Everything centrally located. Tip, eat at the cafeteria. Good food and inexpensive as well. Make sure you grab a bag of pop corn on your way out. ( in the lobby) Parking is underground, but usually available, even when they are busy.

  • 5/5 Stephanie N. 1 year ago on Google
We had a wonderful experience for our first visit. Our six year old daughter was being seen for scoliosis . Just know that the popcorn is NOT free, take .50 per box if you would like some. The volunteers and popcorn awesome.

Dr Sucato and his team are the greatest! He is more liberal and understands that kids shouldn’t be taken away from all the activities they love unless completely necessary. He also provided praise to my son for doing his rehab and sticking to plan to heal his back. He even called me at home on a Saturday once! Friendly and great beside manner even with teenagers. Scottish rite hospital is worth the drive and fighting traffic.

The atmosphere here is nothing like other hospitals. Both my 5 year and I were very nervous about his appointment, but upon entering the facility, our worries began to slide off. The front desk was so friendly and helpful in getting us to the right location. The nurses and the provider were very kind and compassionate during the examination. My little boy was smiling on his way out!!!

Leaving a review for Dr. Kristina Ciaglia. We had an appt today for a second opinion for our son’s condition and I just have to commend Dr. Kristina. She’s such an amazing doctor and human being. She knows what she is doing, was very patient and answered all of our questions. She made sure that my son was comfortable while being examined and made him sure that he is in good hands. So I just want everyone to know that this whole appt to Dr. Ciaglia was completely smooth and eased our minds with the results. I feel beyond blessed because we've never been to anyone for my son's condition! Thank you soo much to Dr. Ciaglia for your kindness, and caring ways! I would recommend anyone to you! 😘🙏😍

After having our child treated at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital by Dr. Scott Oishi, we now understand why it is considered a world-class medical facility and Dr. Oishi is considered to be one of the top surgeons in his field! We traveled from San Antonio to have our daughter treated by Dr. Oishi after doing a great deal of research and hearing wonderful things about him from other parents. Each time we have visited the hospital we have been greeted with warm, friendly smiles. From our initial consultation to our post-surgery and cast removal appointments, Dr. Oishi and his wonderful team of nurses and Occupational therapists have been nothing short of amazing! Dr. Oishi has been so wonderful with our young daughter. He has been kind, sensitive, and patient. Never once during this process did my husband and I feel uncomfortable. More importantly, he made my daughter feel comfortable. We were all excited and eager for her surgery! There were no nervous feelings at all! She is 6 weeks post surgery. Her surgical outcome has been great! Her incisions are healing nicely! We are happy to see that she has gained more function because of the positional changes made to her hand and forearm as a result of her tendon transfer/release surgeries. We are excited to see our child’s future progress! Huge thank you to Dr. Oishi and his amazing team!

Amazing experience! From the time we walked in the front doors, every person we saw was kind and helpful. Even the staff walking by us in the hallways were friendly and made sure we knew where we were going. Our doctor was great and explained everything very well! We felt so much better about our daughter’s hip dysplasia after our visit. The wait for an appointment was well worth it and we feel very confident about our child’s care with Scottish Rite going forward.
